Hi,
I'm new to GEO. This is the first I've been here, but could use some help. The GEOCOIN wallet I just installed doesn't want to sync. I have a .conf file but it doesn't contain any nodes and the .log file doesn't have any either. How do I get this to sync?

I have had my coins stolen from C-CEX in the past. I can see some people still have their GEO on that exchange.  You must withdraw your GEO RIGHT AWAY or your coins will be confiscated. No joke, this is real, they take your coins that you paid for with your own money. Yes, this, do not leave coins on C-Cex. They are a scamming exchange. They always set up their own ICOs on there and then do nothing with the coin after the ICO. If you didn't get you're coins off c-cex you can send them a GeoCoin address and ask them to send your coins to you. I did that for a different coin that got delisted on c-cex and c-cex actually sent the coins to me. |

Have you tried reinstalling the wallet? Yes..re-installed twice. Then, deleted completely and tried again. I have 8.7.0. Is that the latest? |

The latest QT wallet is indeed v0.8.7.0-beta. I'll have a look at making a bootstrap file out of my own wallet data. Maybe that will help. Edit: I posted the link to the bootstrap file at our Slack group. If you want an invitation to it, just click the link at my signature. |

I think GEO is the most stable currency right now with very little chance we'll go below 8000 sats. I'm slowly taking my stake out of BTC and moving into GEO while the dump continues though the summer.

Yes this coin is amazing, and we are building quite the community as well. I can't wait til Geo is pushed out to the public, I have a feeling many, many people in the geocaching community will be excited to see what this coin has to offer. I think this coin stands to be the first alt that will actually bring in a substantial amount of people from outside of crypto once it is released to the geocaching community.

Anyone know if GeoCoin has or is working on integration with GroundSpeak one of the premier geocaching companies out there? it would grow the coin fast and makes alot of sense.
