next week I visit GIS-Tech
http://www.esri.nl/gistech
I placed 1 coin on the location.
I go also tweet about this and for attention of GIS-profesionals more coins there is maybe good idea.
If more peope can contribute (put some coins there and tweet -retweet) we get attention from the Dutch GIS community.

To solve the miner dump issue, perhaps reduce rewards to 1 GEO now?

The block reward reduces at block 120000 , you could see it in the OP. 1100 more blocks to go...
EDIT: Personally I'm OK with dumpers , just let them dump...

it doesnt need much to get back to nearly 30 000 some few bitcoins.

The actual dumper/s  can do it because the buy order volume or tree is low.

When the coin will be more famous and the buy order will grow we will not see more this.

The advice is to keep your coins its not a "shit" coin.

Seems dev really want to do lot of thing for this coin and they will not let it die.

So dont be scared if its dumped do like i did buy low (you will probably never have a price so low to buy).

Great Im on my way to Rotterdam anyways tomorrow. i'll  pigeon around. Joke
But first dude there will get lucky. And people will see his pigeon moves while collecting.. As my girlfriendex said to me while I was searching collect sweet spot. You were like pigeon Smiley

Better to watch live (if there is live stream) and drop when you see pigeon collecting it.. and if you see the same person-remove fast and watch him go pigeon without collecting Smiley

Update

Miners Pool has added GEO. https://www.miners-pool.eu/#!/pools/geocoin
A nice stats breakdown as well: https://www.miners-pool.eu/#!/mining-breakdown/GEO

GeoCoin.cash beta release has been a big success. We are continuing to get tons of signups every day! Our user base is growing quickly and the marketing hasn't even started yet. We are forming a really great active community. People are dropping and collecting coins. We have indicated several improvements to the user interface and will be releasing the following features on the next GUI update:

-Share your geodropped coins through social media and reward users for doing so, creating a chain reaction flow
-Zoom to location
-Bulk geodrop
-Drop any fraction of GEO
-Mobile friendly geodropping
-Password protected coins
-More things we find through beta testing

Thanks to all beta users!

woohoo! I am going to find some of these Smiley

It would be nice if the user could see some simple stats like total geodropped coin in the world and a breakdown by country.

This is how the app looks like on my old Samsung.
I miss the button below.
This is one of the pictures I go post Thursday.
Hope it gives GeoCoin some attention of Dutch ESRI GIS-community.
