According to the guys discussing, it could well be used for that purpose, but I must say that that idea hasn't passed my mind up until now. Who knows. Only future will tell. |

Hi everyone, GEO developments are still going strong. Some things that are scheduled to be released this month: -First live version of GEO HTML5 wallet (no more beta): This includes password protected coins, sharing maps/coins through social media, coin comments, & collecting coins via augmented reality. -Marketing Promotion - New Logo/Strong branding
- New top quality information website (will be very slick)
- GEO-location specific promotions (dropping coins at niche events) and hash-tagging them
- Viral social media marketing initiatives
- Promo video to spread on social media
Remember our target users are mostly outside of the crypto scene and we haven't even started marketing to them yet. Please come to the slack and watch the promo vid (in development). I wish I could help you, but tobler is at work atm and it could well be that he disabled it as he did with withdrawals. Keep in mind that we are on the brink of a launch and things like this unfortunately can happen. |

I wouldn't really say MAPC is similar to GEO. MAPC looks like an obvious ICO scam, whereas GEO has a solid track record of tech delivery. MAPC is also in the dumping phase of the classic ICO P&D circle of life... with less than 0.2 BTC of buy support between 3k and 18k sat, your "advice" screams bagholder to me  lol |

Just go with the hype based on nothing but a bunch of promises. I have witnessed this so many times now, especially with premined/ICO coins, that I'm getting immune to fancy websites telling lie after lie. What do they've got to show? Right, nothing. Only fancy blahblah. As part of the Geocoin Slack group, I see the progress we are making towards the end of the beta phase and I can tell you that's for real. But OK, long term constructive thinking is no quick rich scheme and therefore nothing for short term thinking daytraders as you obviously are. |
