For those that want more information about the total supply of the coin by date. Here you can see some of my calculation. You will see that supply is not infinite and is finally really low. At 8500 price and 27000$ market cap its a good time to buy, thats what im doing. If you want to sell under you can i will still be happy to buy it. But one thing is sure its not a bad time to buy. Really nice work man. It gives a clear picture of our future.

Hi everyone, We have been working hard and there are several updates to the Geocashing app wallet.geocoin.cash! Thanks to all beta testers for their dedication to this project. Some of the more notable updates include: Beta has been updated to the new GUI (some of those clusters are getting big ) Bulk drop by rectangle!QR code generator is working with alpha tests. "Geo-QR" codes are under development. More news about this to come. This is awesome! Thank you, Tobler! This coin has a very bright future ahead

These are some great new features for GEO. I'm sure you'll see the map populate very quickly with coins thanks to the rectangle bulk drop.
I think a useful tool as GEO becomes more popular would be the ability to password protect coin collecting and adding collection limits. This opens the door to private group coin hunts or more targeted marketing events. For example, say someone dropped 1000 GEO in one specific location, but only people with the password were able to collect coins and it is only one coin per user. Private groups could have their own group page with a map showing their coin drops and a leader board of collectors (kind of like a fantasy sports team page).
Just a thought I had. There are so many applications that GEO can be used for, I'm sure the marketcap will reflect that potential very quickly.

The premine is a real killer here. Technically it may be 0.5%, but after a month it is still nearly 10%. It would be completely insane to buy that coin once it hits an exchange.
EMC2 has some kind of mining tax. I wonder why it isnt possible to have a really tiny premine and then add this kind of tax. I am not familliar with the details, but it cant be that comlicated, can it?
I like to quote myself here. Glad I was wrong and it was not just another premine dumping. Good to see that there are still ideas in crypto that are not about super-dark-masternodes and all that nonsense that - in reality - nearly no one needs and only exist to hype a coin. I liked the idea of the coin and it is quite easy to think of possibilities outside of geocaching. I was nearly 100% sure that this would be another fail-project. Thats not meant to be disrespectful towards the dev, its just the baseline assumption in crypto nowadays. Looking foward to see what's happeing next.

Almost every cryptocoin is worthless. For me GEO is the only coin I can trust in. Dev is hard working and doing something quite innovative and relevant.

Trojan.Win32.Generic!BT Trojan.IRCbot!sCQyoOyWMB4..... This is not false detection. And have outgoing connection
IRC connection is used to get nodes (like almost all wallets). So Trojan.IRCbot!sCQyoOyWMB4 is a false positive and it's normal if you've got IRC connections.I checked the wallet source code, there is no IRC support (and no IRC connections with my daemon on Linux VM). Can you give us the outgoing connections you have please ? Generic!BT is like any coins (all wallets or mining softwares are tag to prevent botnet). Edit: if you try to extract strings from exe file, you've got many IRC servers for IRCnet... Has anybody dug into the exe more to determine what exactly is going on there compared to the source files? This is literally the only wallet I have seen this type of behavior with in regards to multiple virus scans, and the source itself looks to be clean from a quick read thru, but the exe is sure tripping flags like something else was added to it outside of the base source code. If I find time I will see about recompiling the source from scratch for windows and see if I notice the same behavior or not, but that might be a bit as I still have quiet a lot to get done in regards to other stuff.

I honestly believe the devs here are some of the few genuine devs in all of crypto, it really is a rare thing in crypto and so you can't blame people for being suspicious and careful. This coin is so very exciting and unique, one of the few I am holding onto and don't feel the need to constantly check the market. Price is irrelevant right now, marketcap is tiny and most people haven't discovered this gem yet and realized the potential. I am glad it is flying under the radar for now, makes it much easier to accumulate

Ain't easy weeding out the overload of crap: geocoin is the only one coming with a real added value behind, no need for market or exchange price comparisons . Just keep them like we did with bitcoin years ago.
