Yes, many new POW coins are created every day and they must be sold to pay for electricity and make some profit.
Good days when coin was mined by coin supporters are gone.
There are miners who mine and sell and there are investors who buy and hold.

A POW coin constantly needs new investors to balance this out and that's why promotion is necessary.

Good days when coin was mined by coin supporters are gone.
There are miners who mine and sell and there are investors who buy and hold.

A POW coin constantly needs new investors to balance this out and that's why promotion is necessary.

But this one is well calculated. It takes 28BTC 0.0001BTC per geo to buy whole 7 block reward supply. eazy peazy for one person to buy with 28BTC  wall on 0.0001BTC on bittrex.
And with 2*750ti=100W=8Mh/s=12 coins in 24 hours...   anyone can mine some also to drop/sell/hold. sell into own wall  I support this coin with 3*750ti. Geocoin also offers you to play some GeoCashing. Or just drop 2 years old dept in front of friends place

Price is going up & down for every crypto coin with periodic highs & lows. Frequently traders pump the coin just before a new feature is released and dump on the release.

 With most coins, they reach a maximum they never recover again and gradually their lows & high are lower. But for quality coins - I believe geocoin is one of them - they can reach higher lows & highs  with dev & marketing progress...

You're right about that. The promotion or marketing is still low profile, to avoid high expectations that can't be fullfilled and I like it that way.
First we need a decent working geocashing system and that takes time as it is kinda unexplored territory.
Then we can look into promoting it and not at this stage of development.

Wouldn't say "the most potential of all cryptocoins". but real world use, I think the coins with more potential are the ones that enable DAPP's, that's the future of cryptocoins. I disagree about your statement about the price (many times can tell you about the accumulation, distribution, market direction, etc). So, if you are a trader you should care about the price, but if you are an enthusiastic or a believer that want to promote this project, then you shouldn't care about the price.

The reason I say that is because I look at companies like Munzee or Geocaching.com. GEO already has a nice user base which I see growing to hundreds of thousands of users minimum (of course with developments and marketing). Im excited because there is a very large target market to grow here that is outside of crypto. I don't see many other coins with that right now.

For me, the current price is irrelevant as I'm not one of those blood sucking traders. I invest here and will hold for years. A big investor comes in and buys all your GEO, which I think is very likely, and everything changes in a heartbeat.
