Guys, be patient, please. @Tobler hasn't left the project, just have some kind of family issues. He will be back soon, meanwhile @weifa, a very talented GIS expert is trying to move things forward. Let's all help him!

Do people want a Pokemon Go camera and scene view style game or a more first person shooter style camera and scene view?

Or do people like a birds eye view of the map. This is by far the easiest way to go.

I would favor a birds eye of view if it is easier to develop and doesnt take that much time

Hi everyone,

I've been away from GEO developments for a few months, however weifa (GIS developer) has been working on GEO, creating physical geocoins for promoting GEO to geocachers on geocaching.com and more to come. Check this one out: https://twitter.com/BackroadDave/status/750917610032672768

I'm back developing an easy to use, simple android app for GEO. Stay tuned for updates & thanks for the continued support.

Wow, you're back in here almost after a month I guess....Hope whatever problems you had are solved now.(Heard someone saying in the comments).
GEO has a great potential...Location mapping coins and such.
We might even partner with Niantic labs, Pokemon GO or anyother hit VR/AR app

I think now that development is back to its full fledge, some PR articles will really heaten up the things Smiley

Welcome back Tobler!  I think the android app for GEO could be a major benefit to the project, let me know how I can assist you in development.

I've already had that built for a few years. Geocoin.cash needs an API with HTTPS. All security should be done through the API. I see lots of possibilities for the uses of a GPS game.

I think the website/app could use some links to the physical GeoCoins bouncing around the geocaches worldwide.  It could help people locate them nearby and continue them on their journey.

Here's a few of the maps for the current 4 I've gotten out there (Edit: Geocaching.com Login Required)

https://www.geocaching.com/track/map_gm.aspx?ID=6872337
https://www.geocaching.com/track/map_gm.aspx?ID=6872330
https://www.geocaching.com/track/map_gm.aspx?ID=6872358
https://www.geocaching.com/track/map_gm.aspx?ID=6872320

I'll try and get a few more out soon

two questions:

1. when is the AR app (from road map) rolling out?

2. what happened to the slack invitation?

You can rent block explorers from a few sites. The yearly fee is actually quite reasonable. My favorite is https://chainz.cryptoid.info/

Nice price movements lately.....We are primed for a big move in a few days

Buy support is now over 400% and I'm seeing much interest about GEO coin in the trollbox and elsewhere.

We broke 15k sats after a really long time with a good volume

Good Luck GEOcoin... Smiley
