Ive noticed i submit hardly any shares now.  What gives?
In fact ive noticed i submit no shares now, thats why ive switched pools, i assumed something else was wrong with your pool.

Previous few rounds i submitted 20-30 shares per round, now nothing.

In fact, there is no difference with difficulty 1.0 shares. Because you will receive 0.02733159 LTC for each submitted share instead of 0,00010676.

But traffic usage will be much lower.

Probability of solving share isn't depend on this. It depends only on hashrate.

Payouts are performed after 120 confirmations, or immediately if block is orphaned.

With difficulty 1.0 and 65.536 khash/s you will generate approximately 1 share per second, for example. With difficulty 256 it will be approximately 256 times slower.

So, may be not useful on CPU, if you don't like variance.

Well its just the fact that i dont seem to generate shares now, i should generate a share every 17minutes according to your post, after 30 minutes i havnt generated any.

Ill keep my client going for an hour but it seems now that Im not getting any reward for doing so.

Thanks, i knew about variance, but i didnt expect it to be so pronounced.

I would have replied sooner, but i just had net down for a couple of hours.

Right after my last post I hit 3 shares within a few minutes.

Still, a small reduction in difficulty wouldnt hurt, 256x is a bit overboard.
