Obviously an error with the last payment as I average somewhere between 0.32 and 0.38 per hour normally, I also noticed that my average speed went up dramatically to over 24,000 Mh/s, so not sure what happened there.

Whilst I would love to keep the 500 or so coins, I am an honest soul so the coins are still in my account, so please take them back, I think I had something like 10-11 coins in there before this payment, but I'm sure you'll be able to work out what was in there beforehand.

Something similar to this happened to Ozco.in a little while back, he was hacked, and he replaced the lost coin in his hot wallet, turned payments back on and whoosh they all disappeared again.  So double and triple check everything before re-enabling payments.

A quick question - My miners are still mining ok, are shares still being counted ok?

All submitted shares are saved into logfiles. Mined blocks will be divided proportionally, I think.

Currently all depends on returned funds volume...

It might be in the best interests of your miners for you to disable mining on the pool, at least temporarily. I say this because there are probably many people who do not check their payouts or withdraw their coins but only once every week or more. They are more likely to check if their miners are running much more often than check  their balance on the pool. It is probably unfair to let them keep mining for hours/days/ maybe even weeks when they do not know what has happened, and you know there is a VERY slim chance they will ever get the coins they are mined, since them ever being paid is depending on other people's honesty to return 7000+ unearned LTC that is simply not going to happen.

I really liked this pool, and I did not cash out during the big mistake. But I am lucky I check my balance on the site at least once a day, so I am only losing about 3LTC that I mined and will not ever get due to the mistake. Because if I just looked at my miners, I would not notice a problem, because they were still hashing away coins I am pretty much guaranteed to never receive.

I am sorry this happened to your pool, but for the sake of your other miners please disable mining so they are more likely to realize what has happened. That way if they want to try and hash you out of your mistake, essentially donating many mined LTC to repay the large debt,  it will be their willing choice and not something they did because they have not yet realized the pool is now probably a 100% donation pool for a very long time.

Balthazar your pool is the only pool I've ever been on where I feel the operator is completely honest. On other pools what I received was obviously short. On your pool I do surprisingly well.

If you do not receive the funds back please zero my account, solve the issue and continue running the pool. I respect honest people and because of that am willing to accept the loss of both what is currently accumulated in my account and what I am earning while you solve this. You do not need to suffer alone. I believe others in the pool will agree.

We will pay this shares proportionally.

But you are right, it's better to do something. I'll do it as soon as balances will be fixed. Mining port will be changed to make sure that users know what they are doing.

I agree, when the problem would be solved Ill keep mining in this pool, the best I tried, meanwhile Ill  mine feathercoin.
