its going back normal now but.. i think there are lost shares.

It'd be completely unacceptable, in my humble opinion, if those shares haven't been accounted.

Yeah I'm not sure if I wanna stay at this pool now seeing as I've lost around 100 LTC being on this pool the last few days.

Fix these issues please!

Please make a post in my Reputation Thread if we've had a successful trade.

I don't know what's going on, but this is bad.

Normally when something is wrong with the pool, my rigs switch to backuppool.
Not in this case. The shares simply seem to flow into nirvana.

Donatioins always welcome Wink

This is awfully bad!

However, there could be an easy solution. For each hour of unaccounted shares (one hour means a bit more than a 4% loss on a daily income), we could have a whole day without the 4% fee.

Or we could just switch pool... and never come back.

do we have lost shares?

I believe so - my shares continued to increase over the time where people were complaining of the front-end disconnection.

@Nicksasa:

- Still having problems with eu.notroll.in (shares not counted / not visible on web page). The US server seems to be working, although I have a very high invalid count. Error message: "unknown work" in cgminer.

- Are there problems with your Stratum Vardiff implementation? I always had a very low invalid count (<0.1%) - now it's more like 5%. I am using cgminer 2.11.2

- Also when not using Stratum I can see (on your web interface) diff is fluctuating for my workers. I thought vardiff is only active for Stratum? When connected to http://notroll.in:6332 cgminer says: "connected to ... with stratum ... as user"

- Does the auto payment work again?

I'm back to getting lots of (unknown-work) rejections and they seem to be on either end of a difficulty shift - which seems to happen all entirely too often.  Like every minute the difficulty shifts up or down, and I get 3-6 rejections around the same time.

I am experiencing this as well.....I see DIFF all over the place, sometimes as high as 259.  Getting HUGE reject % all of a sudden as well.  One machine shows nearly 20% rejects.

Clearly this is unacceptable, especially for someone with 40,000+ KH/s.  I cannot handle losing 10-20% of my income.

I completely understand you. I'm pretty sure i found the problem, changed it.
If I can't solve it soon, I'll be going back to a fixed diff untill i can solve it. Diff will probably be 64 then.

Holy crap dude you're making like $1,000 a day at today's difficulty and you must be sitting on a bajillion LTC from when it was cheaper.

I'm hating harder than Silky Johnson right about now

Vardiff should be solved now. Uses power of 2 targets now, so diff changes will happen a LOT less.
And well, compare that to a btc pool .. Wink And sadly no i'm not sitting on a lot of ltc personally, I actually sold most of what i had at 0.01 ...

Just a heads-up that I'm still seeing (unknown-work) from time to time but apparently much less than before the change.  Can't afford to watch it too constantly so I can't quantify.

Thanks buddy.  I realize running a pool as large as yours must take a huge effort, and I appreciate your work.

I pointed my miner to http://port80.notroll.in:80/  with cgminer2.11.3, but I found that the real port it used is 3333! why is that?

It's because your miner supports stratum, and thus automatically reconnects to port 3333

Not trolling (no pun intended) but why should I join a pool with a 4% fee over one with 0% or even 2%? I'm just trying to figure out what makes it popular. Help appreciated.
