What do you think? I think I might be close. I'm guessing $10,000 per bitcoin by then.

i don't think that price in 2020 will be close to 10000$, at best case it will be 4000$ but not more, but might be even less than that,

if you want to be millionaire at that time you should buy even more bitcoins because with 100 you probably won't be for long time

Indeed, the price will not as high as the most people think so its just a matter of time we gonna know the price, but it will never be higher than 5000 dollar in my prediction.
The max is about 5000 dollar and 100 bitcoins is still not enough in my opinion...2020 is way to early.

nobody knows what is going to happen this year, so predicting 4 years in the future is even harder. but i don't think bitcoin price is going to get anywhere higher than $3000-$5000 so 100BTC will not make anybody a millionaire.

Buying the dip...

Any special reason and explanation why in your opinion $5000 woudl be the absolute top?
I'm of the opinion that you can not know how much it will ever be worth in few years because we all don't know to what Bitcoin will evolve. It's also possible that it could reach a much higher value, or goes down to zero.

The price going to anything above 5k is debatle. In fact I am quite sure it's not going that high.
The last pump on this scale 200 to 1200 was a once in a life time oppertunity.

Normal pumps will get a max 200/300 pump at a time.

$200 to $1200 is not as exciting as $10 - $200 (direct result of halving) in terms of percentage gain.

Halving is incredibly disruptive in terms of supply/demand and market dynamics. You have more and more money chasing fewer and fewer daily Bitcoin output, I think $5000 or even $10000 is not unlikely after the halving.

This guy gets it  Cool
It will not happen, because you never know what will happen with the value in the future and that is the problem. But we all hope that it will rise.
But the bad thing is that you never know when the rise will stop or even go further and that is the problem to sell or buy it on a moment.

Its not that it wont happen.

Its because you dont see the scenarios that build up to that price value yet which should be clarified.

If all the events that lead to the price point are there then yes it would be possible.

It depends on how much of those excessive cash reserve will be used to pump the bitcoin price, now it is more than 3 trillion

No you would not be a millionaire by that year, its just not realistic the price has to be much higher to achieve it.
And how the market is right now I do not see it happen, even with 5000 dollar you will net get a millionaire so that is saying already enough right ?

Overall its not possible even with events..

No you are not gonna be a millionaire in that year because the bitcoin is than still not worth enough to achieve this number.
It also will be very difficult to do this, and I think its not gonna happen at all.

Your best shot is to convert those 100 BTC into ETH...$100-200 per ETH in the next couple of years is not really that far fetched in my opinion...you won't be a millionaire but I don't see Bitcoin passing the $1000 barrier anytime soon unless a major collapse of the financial industry happens or China goes crazy about Bitcoin (which I highly doubt because it will be the first thing declared illegal by the government and you know the sentence won't be a pat in the shoulder hehe).

$0.50 per eth is also not that far fetched in my opinion Wink
Fact is: it's pure speculation. In general it's recommended to diversify, if you put all your eggs in one basket you can also lose everything by 2020.

Sounds like a gamble though, but heck why not lol.

If alt coins allow fast profits like that, it doesnt hurt to try to get involved with then waiting around for bitcoins value to go up.

Well I can't deny that 0.50 per ETH is also a possibility. But the man asked to become a millionaire and I honestly think Bitcoin is going nowhere soon. If he had placed 50 BTC alone on ETH on January (not even on presale or anything) then he would be pretty rich already.

If you are very good at trading altcoins you can get to a million with that kind of money in an year or even less. But everything takes balls. A lot of guys held 5000-10000 ETH in the last weeks and sold at 40-50k sats...it's hard to pinpoint how high a stock or a investment will go. The same happened with BTC, now I understand how many early adopters must've sold at $20...I'm sure they never imagined that BTC would reach $400-800-1000...

I do not consider those speculators who think that the price will reach $10k in 2020 as realistic people. because Bitcoin need much more huge investments to reach that high level. So I do not think that bitcoin will make you a millionaire soon

Indeed the 2k is even far away if you ask me, if these people want to reach the 10k there has to happen a lot in the next few years.
I even highly doubt if this price is even ever possible( the 10k) I think it will never reach it if I'm honest.

right, 10k it was a very high price, it is very difficult to bitcoin get to that price, even to get to the $ 1k price alone is very long. but I just hope it really will happen despite the possibility 0.00001%

It is hard to say. But I dont think that will happen, because you can see that the value is not even rising and that will be really bad for the halving.
Or you have to be lucky to let that happen, but the chance is very small, and most people think that the value will be not high anymore.

The chance is really small. To let that happen the value must really jump and rise for a long time, but that is almost impossible.
If you have maybe 500 Bitcoins than it will possible. The basic thing is that you need to wait a long time to make that much profit.
And not everyone have the patience for it and that is very bad.

I think it's pretty unlikely but I'd love to be proved wrong.

You can be a millionaire with 100 coins even with its price right now in 2020...But, not in USD..some other currency are pretty much low value compared to USD.. BUt anyway, back to the topic, it is impossible if we are talking about bitcoin to USD.. price needs to reach five digits before a 100 bitcoin become $1million USD..

No possible in 2020. Maybe in 2026 you can be a millionaire when the price is over $10,000 each.
