Thanks Ohad! This is a great news!
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

a new blogpost
http://www.idni.org/blog/the-new-tau
can be considered as a shortened whitepaper

This is a must read for all interested parties.

It talks about scaling a decentralized social choice platform, scaling collaborative discussions, automatically synthesizing code according to group consensus, automatically amending the rules of the platform and how this is all possible through a self defining and decidable metalanguage.

Thank you for your hard work Ohad

Thank Ohad for the updates. I'm trying to understand the information but it's really hard for me. Will do more homework to learn it.

Didnt agora had around 10 million coins which are going to be sold in the future? Mining these coins is not an option?

This project is really exciting... Feels like the next step of humanity really. Enabling semantic web and secure what is true and not. But it will be dwarfed  by other tech in the short term.

From what I've seen, no tech comes even close

If you mean in terms of hype or marketing, that's probably true in the short term. But as soon as Ohad completes the discussions platform things will definitely change.

If anyone wants to buy ARGS - I'll sell at a 10% markup + Escrow fees as I have a Bittrex account.  (I use SebastianJu & have for much larger transactions than this).

You will be limited to Bittrex withdrawal limits on unconfirmed accounts.

Karov dropped some info about Nicky case that I found interesting a while back. I also looked into Nicky's thoughts on voting.

He has this interesting game: http://ncase.me/ballot/

Looks like score based voting is the best. Obv not needed for Tau but interesting nonetheless.

Can AGORAS be stored securely with the omni web wallet or is the full omni core required?

Cheddur allows you to link wallets, exchanges, and other services that support AGRS so that new users can easily get started

Security reminder: never give your private keys or wallet files to an unknown or untrusted wallet app, especially not one that advertizes by spamming every altcoin forums

As far as AGRS is concerned, there is nothing that this new app can do that the official Omni Wallet can't do equally well. Play it safe.

Hmmm.... guys keep safe with your tokens. I think omni wallet is good. If not, then Ohad would definitely recommend something else.

For that apps, you better get Ohad's recommendation first.
