Price has taken a huge dump! Yobit scam pump dump should not be counted since they dont allow withdrawals and they hold coins, at this time for me the btc price is from cryptopia only Dev should ask coinmarketcap to remove yobit listing since cbx on yobit since yobit is a scam, yobit dont allow deposit/withdrawal since years and to prevent people to dont fall in this yobit trap Sorry for my bad english This is why I like the new ticker idea. Even with a new ticker, yobit can upgrade their wallet and just disable d/w their cbx wallet is running, up to date and synched since many month, they only dont allow w/d thats all

Price has taken a huge dump! I bought those below 20k on Yobit. I know it's a loss, but it will help keep things real for now. I don't know how many coins are over on Yobit, but I'll snatch up the ones people are essentially giving away and hold them to maintain the integrity of the price.

How will be the money, collected during the ICO be spent?
There's no ICO. There is possibly just a 1:1 coin swap when moving from the old chain to the new chain.

Man, I'm so frustrated, the 2.4.3 wallet will not run for me. I've reinstalled it multiple times, used the fix tool, used the bootstrap, etc.
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
It (tries) to run on a Dell Windows Home Server 2011 machine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cryptopia is the only exchange for cbx now and there is only one guy who is making the buy orders. He makes the price drop with little crappy orders and he determines the marketcap (?!) See it yourself....

When you say "used the bootstrap", you mean you reloaded the whole blockchain? Because according to my experience with Vault 2.4.3, this happens sometimes when your PC blockchain goes corrupt. To make sure you delete the whole blockchain, remove all files from your CryptoBullion folder, except wallet.dat - then load the bootstrap. If you leave some old files there, then maybe the corruption stays. Also, have you tried to run Vault 2.4.3 with an old wallet.dat file, or are you starting a new one from scratch? If your Vault works with a blank wallet.dat file but doesnt work with your old file, then it's bad news. More detail please...

Well, I'm sure there's a lot of people that can't do anything because the wallet won't sync I'm not the only one in that boat. If the wallet won't sync, you can't move your coins anywhere.

While it's true that Vault 2.4.3 cannot sync alone, even if I'm not much of a techie I was always able to sync using bootstrap. Have you tried the steps I outlined above?

If the wallet won't sync, you can't move your coins anywhere. the only way to get it running on my windows was to export all my private key and to empty the roam folder, to download from my linux vps a fresh fully copy of the folder synched at the last block and to copy it to my windows folder (without the wallet.dat file). That was the only way i get it working after many days of tries and since i made that around 3 to 6 month ago, i never get any problem, the vault is running without any crash. If needed i can create a full copy from my vps folder this night to share it, just ask it Ps: nice to see coinmarketcap exclude price from yobit

Cool! I asked them yesterday to exclude Yobit from CBX markets. Not sure it was because of that, though the timing is perfect. Apparently they decided to still keep it, but not take its price into account towards the average price.

Yes, I did those steps twice. Failed both times. Now I'm trying it using your advice of a brand new wallet. If I can get the thing to sync the blockchain then I will try it with my old wallet, if not then I will try to export my private keys. I appreciate your help, it's just frustrating that I can't stake

I understand the frustration! So, reloading and syncing a brand new Crypto Bullion empty wallet with bootstrap is a job of a few hours: how did it go?

Roadmap 2017 status report!
It's been too long since we published a development update and the reason for this has been that we stumbled upon an unforeseeable problem and realized we needed a new approach to allow this project to go forward in a timely fashion while not impacting on value.
What changes now is that we have decided not to let the new code be burdened by the existing old blockchain by attempting to make the new code accomodate it; this means that a CBX swap will be necessary, from old CBX to the new CBX currency instead of the simple seamless install of Vault 3.0 we had in mind. We still envision an elegant migration process: a snapshot of all existing CBX address balances will be taken, and then applied to the new CBX blockchain.
To regular users, the new Vault 3.0 will be able, upon first launch, to fetch the user's private keys which are in the old wallet.dat, and then from these old keys fetch his new CBX coin into the new blockchain. May I remind people that the CBX address' values will not be affected in any way by this swap, all balances stay the same.
The last hurdle we will find prior to alpha testing lies in the mandatory global money supply limitation of 250 000 CBX that can be associated to BPNs (masternodes) at any time. To address this, an innovative solution was proposed, applying a mutex; this solution is unheard of in the Crypto world and we think it will give good results.
Thank you for your patience and continued support

Now that we have it confirmed that Vault 3.0 will require a swap (although automated as much as possible), now we know for sure the we can no longer keep the same ticker (CBX) as some Vaults 2.4.3 will continue to run for some time after hard fork, even though we will have stopped supporting the old CBX blockchain. If we keep the same ticker there will be confusion.
I have changed the poll accordingly - please choose one!
Happy Friday everyone!

Very good news here! We are not far off now and anticipate Vault 3.0 testing very soon! I am a fan of this new approach as it simplifies numerous pieces of the transition, speeds the process tremendously to the new release, eliminates the historic bloat of the blockchain (allows new Vault 3.0 to sync from a genesis point rather than 4 year historic chain) and eliminates numerous quirks and bugs from existing codebase, among other benefits. A change in ticker will allow us to break free of the Yobit weight around our ankles while still keeping the integrity of the CryptoBullion brand and name. Despite the path being a difficult one to get to this point, I am extremely excited about where we are now and thrilled we can get back on track finally! Happy Friday indeed!

This is not so good news for those that have coins trapped on yobit if they don't bother with the swap. Hopefully some pressure can be applied to them to release ppls coins and swap to the new chain. Why are we reinventing the wheel with this I have no idea why if we are going to do a coins swap we don;t just fork off of pivX? also all updates would come free then too.? Could be done and ready to go in a very short time frame. Although best to let them sort out their bugs with zero coin implementation for a few weeks first.
