That is an important factor. At the moment, less than 100,000 people use Bitcoin actively. And out of that, IMO less than 1% might have subscribed to premium content, in sites such as Pornhub or YouPorn. This represents a minuscule fraction, when compared to the millions of premium users, which these sites are having.

Don't forget that the porn industry is part of the reason why we have VHS and BluRay instead Betamax and HD-DVD. The porn industry is often the trend setter when it comes to emerging technologies becoming prevalent.

Porn websites are much more smarter and tech advanced then we believe and people have started using bitcoin on the porn websites and they would attract their customers by showing some promos that makes the customers to spend more and more bitcoins on the websites.

That's a good thought. Incentives to use bitcoins would entice people to buy and use them on the websites. Because right now, other than anonymity, what other benefits are there to a customer going through the trouble of buying bitcoin to spend on the website when other easier options are already available?

You pay for premium or exclusive content, or higher quality videos. You also pay so you can download them. If you want to watch porn in HD or 4K, you can't get it for free. Legally anyway.

100% agree here. Bitcoin is perfect for escort services, both for the hookers and for the guys hiring them. Guys cheating on their significant others would significantly lower the chances of being caught because of the anonymity.

As well, banks aren't too happy to deal with people in this business so not only would the escorts save on fees but it would be less likely the banks would catch on to what they do for a living.

Yeah many websites available on google that have millions of porn videos and why should we pay our bitcoins to some stupid websites if we are getting it totally for free. And I am not addicted to porn websites so I would prefer to invest my bitcoins into some valuable projects rather then spending on porn.

ATM, you might be right... but everything is an equilibrium.

At the moment, less and less people are paying for porn, so it gets harder for producers AND the people giving everything away for free to make a living (the people running tubes need to get payed to, they're payed a percentage of every paysite subscription they sell, or they get payed for adviews/adclicks).

If 100% of the population stopped paying for porn, no new porn would be generated, and nobody would give it away for free anymore (except on torrents and newsgroups). In this scenario, it would start to get profitable again to make a paysite, since people would be able to pay for porn that wasn't shot 10 years ago for the price of 5 beers a month....

Ofcourse, this scenario wouldn't happen, since there'll always be people that are paying for porn, because it's the right thing to do, because they're afraid to get caught with pirated movies, because they want to see something unique, out of naivity,... So there will always be a market to make new porn, and there will always be people making a profit giving it away for free to...

I never heard, that somebody was somehow caught and judged because of downloading/torrenting porn. I heard about those cases related to movies, games, music, popular tv episodes...but porn? never ever...

funny thing is, that porn had obviously so many users, that even fraction paying for it can cover all expenses of porn distributors and producers. next thing is pricing, lot of people can't simply effort pay 30USD/month just for another channel of "joy and fun"

Yeah actually there are some porn websites that provide free video to watch lol. I don't have any idea why we need to pay if we can get if free. The videos have same quality with the paid one. But, the point on this thread is, bitcoin that always we keep in wallet can we use to get some porn. Nice development.
