  Talking abut the game.

  Preface
   I played a lot with the SoG Official Swiss Android Version 1.0.1 , and the unofficial (not in Google Play) new 1.0.3 version. Actually I'm doing a complete re-test from scratch.

 State of the Art
 From ver. 1.0.1 to 1.0.3 there were some good improvements, better graphics, better sounds and some bugfix. So the EDS team is working fine to release a commercial high quality game.
  Actually we are in soft launch, so the players achievements are to be reset before the real world wide launch. It mean that SoG is in an advanced beta testing stage, and it is necessary to test the iteraction between the fiat money store and the first real blockchain oriented game in the world.
 
  What are the main area for develop the game (in my player opinion):

 1- more levels, actually we have 14 levels with several waves each about 10-30 hours of gaming depending the power of your deck. It too less for a worldwide official launch (and of course more quests, daily quests, achievements)
 2- a more interesting challenge mode actually the "challenge mode" is quite boring, with a not so powerful deck is very easy to complete.  There is a lot of room here to add more waves (what about an infinite mode?) and mix different waves from regular levels. Also is possible to create more than one challenge/infinite campaign. There are some example around mobile game (Hill Climb 2 it have this pattern)
 3- Multiplayer SoG is designed for mutiplayer challenges, at least the Player Versus Player mode have to be implemented soon. This is one of the two killer feature of the game.
 4- Card Blockchainizzation This is the second killer feature, the most important. The ability to maxed out a card just playing the game (so watching ads and buying gems for fiat or blockchain card for bcy) and then get rewarded with a True Blockchain Ownership of a card. It is simply revolutionary.
 5- A more rational card deck manager the actual deck manager work quite fine with few cards in the deck (blockchain and non blockchain) when a player do have a lot of same tipe cards the actual deck is a little bit messy to manage.
 6- A card exchange for non blockchaind cards actually only blockchain cards are tradable with Book of Orb or other counterparty wallet/software it would be nice if players could trade non blockchain card for gold, crystals, gems (or for nothing, that could mean fiat money over the counter).

Those are the main area in my opinion , Time will tell what will be the SoG direction, but I'm sure what is the bitcrystal direction. The moon.

Multiplayer will be available in asynchronous mode, meaning you will be able to challenge other players deck but without them to be connected. Meaning you will challenge a level made with another player deck

Actually it won't be possible with the current model for several reasons.
1. Giving ability to trade cards will bring fake account creation. People will grind early reward to get cards on an account and centralise the card to another big account and mass blockchainize cards. Also for the free to play balance we are going to give a small amount of good cards once the player progress. With the ability to trade people will take advantage of it to move to their master account.
2. Card have a real value specially when they are blockchainized if the trade exist and is centralized we will be held custodian of people belonging and an exploit to the database will be damaging.
3. Ingame cards are subject to fake purchase and chargebacks. Meaning someone will purchase a lot of cards and move them around then ask for a chargeback. It will be not a solution to freeze someone's account because it will be impossible to freeze the card that freely roamed around

If u ask me why this project is making a steady headway towards the integration with new monero side chain, I will have nothing to say. I only know that a sidechain requires a centralized tumbler that allows switching between chains without forking the code.

Hi Yodark, thanks for your reply, so this feature will be ready before the worldwide launch? I suppose that after the worldwide launch there can't be any players reset.

1. Coinmarketcap says there is 41,445,224 BCY available at the moment, is this number correct?
2. How many BCYs were totally burrned in 2016. ?
3. What is the mechanism for burnings coins, when do they get burned and how many BCYs can we expect to get burned in 2017. ?


When it comes to marketing, you guys cannot fail by advertising a game in which players can make profits, you just need to pay 2-3k montly to a good marketing proffesional to make it happen!

Yes coinmarketcap is correct and it update quite fast.

Here you can see BCY burned by month. So sum all in 2016:

They are burned always at beginning of month for previous month. You see from previous picture that last one  was on 5th January.   How many expecting to get burned in 2017  is really hard to speculate, it all depends of how successful game will be. And also when will be finished and started mass played. Definitely burning less then in 2016 would be quite a despoilment.


Looking this I just noticed that surprisingly in 2016 was less (not by much) BCY burned then in 2015. Alltho 2015 had only 4 months.

I don't understand how the price fall so dramaticly, 4 times since it pumper in the summer time. If this game gets viral + BCY burning, BCY might be worth a lot!

It is 3 milions in 16 months.

Price fall so dramatically because in September was announced "soft launch" and soon after that a full launch. That brought price to ATH and also Sathosi card were selling at few $1000. Since in September nothing really happen it was obvious people were disappointed. What was reason I dont really know. Or we miss understood what team is telling us or they overestimated their available resources or both still confuses me. Big hype was made at that time, that those with right information's should stop it, but they failed.
This "soft launch" was then made in beginning of December. But was still not totally as I would imagine something under word "soft launch". Fully build game with all infrastructure around it ready ( that maybe need only some more polishing) to test how normal non crypto gamers will react on the game.

In fundamentals nothing changed and game is slowly but steadily progressing to that goal. There is no need for any hypes or BCY price increases. All we need is a good game that people will love to play.

Whats this new version? Isnt it a slighly refined revision of the old 0.0.0.0 version? Im sitting on 0.0 version and cant get any connections, should I get out of the lavatory to get a better p2p connectivity?

I do not think this game will reach a massive amount of users if they do not partner with a real gaming company. That industry is already very competitive. They founders of this project may have thought that issuing a presale or an ICO in this community is easy money to raise funds.

The game is being produced by All 4 Games the gaming arm of UK-based TV Network Channel 4. They are the ones managing the publishing of the game in the Google Play and Apple App Store as well as guiding the team on development and design of the game.

It has only been soft launched in the Canadian and Swiss stores for the time being and will be launched globally in due course.
