Strange... the satoshi payment is showing up in my client, but not the div payment. Here I was waiting to post what the dividend was like I have been doing the last three weeks... come to find out you folk already know. Go onto blockchain.info and sure enough, there is a transaction to my address... but it is still not showing up in my Bitcoin-QT client. Did a rescan... still nothing. What am I doing wrong here... Was there something strange about this transaction?

Same here, I also got my Satoshis, but no divs. Also, blockchain.info shows my address as "greyed out", it's not clickable. Strange.

I love waking up to 20 BTC's in the mail . dafuq, you got 80BTC per month just from the dividents? that is incredible, i think i would have just quit my job at this point, i dont make that in a year, heh. how many shares do you presently own, if you dont mind me asking? man, im busting my ass at work all month and all i get is 400 bucks (not from US) and right now im busting my head that i did not look into this more back in september when i found out about ASICMINER for the first time. some simple math would say he owns roughly 2800-2900 shares according to this weeks dividends. not bad!

Same. I think we just need confirmations. This tx seems to be unconfirmed still: https://blockchain.info/tx/4203ca137f921e3a39d5bdd903caed94e0066e51ac6b8d5636e4726fa2e8cd3e

Your address is grayed out because you are probably currently on the page for that address, and not the page for that transaction. I freaked out a bit at the same thing. Is your div payment by chance in this transaction? Maybe this one payment got messed up some how... https://blockchain.info/tx/130a075194393462ad361a5191205cf35d27cd5206734b9315f1ba7d18473548

I almost did a facepalm Your address is grayed out, because making a link to the site you are currently watching is kind of pointless, isn't it? Try it for yourself and click on any other address. When on that site, that address will be grayed out, and yours will be clickable..... magic Edit: aahzmundus was faster

Ah, yes – thanks for that hint! Exactly this transaction. I guess we just have to wait, it will confirm eventually.

My question is... why did my client not accept the transaction broadcast? What went wrong?

no worry the coins are so fresh that they are not getting proper broadcasted. It happened to me before on AM dividend. They should show up within 24hr.

Could this have to do with the bug in bitcoind that caused invalid blocks being generated?
I believe there was a fix for that only yesterday. And maybe ASICMiner have not yet applied that bugfix.

a conventional mutual fund manages billions are dollars worth of assets.
Take a look: http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/bestfunds/index.htmlSome of the top funds holding billions in assets have a fee of <1%. Other top funds (mid-cap) hold far less than "billions" ... more like in the 100s of millions.

The transactions are fine, there's just a huge chain of unconfirmed transactions (input for one transaction is the change output from the previous transaction) so it'll take some time for everything to be included in a block.

That was never the issue. The issue is facts. I'm merely correcting his statement that not all mutual funds manage billions in assets. Some mutual funds charge a front-load, transaction fees, or 12b-1 fees. But not all. If you have a brokerage account, you can always take advantage of no-load, no-fee funds. So I'm not sure vortex1878's point reflects "most" funds. Past and current returns from AM have been stellar. Whether future returns are as good (or better) is pure speculation, or at best an educated guess, just like on Wall Street. Whether 5% management fee is too much, too little, or just right, is ultimately for the individual investor or the market to decide.
