TAT divs received today but no ASICMINER-PT divs today. What gives?

Maybe burnside is on vacation.

Or maybe have a read back through the thread a page or three and find out that one of the inputs used in the dividend transaction hasn't been confirmed so the "funds haven't cleared", so to speak.

BTC will not have much of a future if transactions need several hours to be confirmed!  Shocked
i am not sure if fees are really helping

You are aware that *mined* rewards require 100 blocks to be spendable right?

I have a new idea for the business of ASICMiner. As they are now solo-mining, why they hold an auction of the content of the coinbase?

Want to have your name or your parents' names or your lover's name to be stored in the human history? Why not buy a place in the blockchain, which is somewhat similar to print the face on the fiat like a Queen or a President?

May this will add some additional value to the solo-mining? Grin

Eligius has offered this to miners at no cost for a long time, and there wasn't much interest.
Doesn't seem like a viable business model...

Have you looked at the microshare passthroughs? (1/100th of a share) They are a good tool for putting small amounts of btc to work.

May not be attractive for IT geeks... but as bitcoins are attracting more and more attention, may someone would like to have a position in the blockchain. Who knows? Roll Eyes

Out of interest what is the time window to qualify for dividends on a given week? Is it literally that you must hold at "wednesday x 'oclock" that day or is it anyone that owns between "x am and y pm"?

Was my post useful to you?  Tips graciously received!

I think the people who throw up these kind of sell walls really don't care about the price.

They bought at 0.1 during the IPO so they don't care if it stalls the price momentum for a few days or a week.

In any case by next wednesday night the market will have eaten it all and will be left wanting more before the next dividend is released...such is human nature.

Edit: Holy crap look at that hashrate!
