WOOO HOOO GOO ASICMINER and also now usb miners minimum is 50!!!! WOOHOO MORE ORDERS MORE PROFITS MORE DIVIDENDZZZZZ!!!! ASICMINER IS THE FUTURE!!!! SOON TO BE BILLIONAIRES CLUB PLEASE SIGN IN!!!! Looks like the string of good luck continues. These are four ASICMiner solo blocks founds in a row: 238270 238271 238272 238273 Either it's luck, or they are ramping up the solo hash rate.

Dont confuse everybody. Hashrates in those charts is estimated by the number of blocks found.

So lets see here.... Dividends from mining per share will probably be .0146 ( http://www.asicminercharts.com/) With the group buy min order for USB's down to 50, several group buys are closing up and not waiting to get 300. We have the "Unfinalized" sales from last week. Friedcat said blade sales have been "slow but steady". Lets say sales of 2,000 USB miners and 10 blades seems like a "safe" number. 2,000 * 1.99 = 3980 10 * 50 = 500 3980 + 500 = 4480 4480 / 400,000 = .0112 .0112 + .0146 = BTC0.0258 <- seems reasonable? Anyone else care to take a stab at it? Also... share price... with dividends coming up, and the long weekend now over (bank deposits clearing) is anyone expecting a share price bump? If so how much... there are a lot more shares on the market now with bigger players selling a portion of their holdings, and now with multiple markets things seem to be cooling off... will we see 3 a share in the near future (yes, we did already see that on TAT, but not for any amount of time).

I think 2.9 to 3.1 can happen.
Blades and sticks are over priced. I know it is a balancing act but I can buy hd7790's at 130USD vs 240USD for a stick they hash the same rate. the hd7790 burns 32 cents (at 16 cents a k-watt) a day in 100 days that is 32usd in 200 days that is 64usd in 300 days that is 96usd
So after 300 days I am still better off with the hd7790. As I spent 130 plus 96 = 226 vs 240 usd.
I also still have a video card worth 30 to 50 usd.
The sticks don't sell fast any more. Lowering the limit to 50 closed out some sales but they were lingering for more then a week just to get to 193 sticks.
So stop sales for 1 week to 10 days to get people nervous then drop the price to 1.5 coins.
Since we have lots of hash power on ice selling sticks at a lower price brings in money And allows us to have more solo hash.

Or make it an auction again, they went pretty good Maybe a bundle of 1 blade + 3 sticks @ BTC55

It will be interesting to see what the strategy is with hardware sales.
I think philip has the right idea - when sales dry up at a price point, take the product off the market for a short period, then bring it back at a lower price. This has a couple of positive effects:
- early adopters don't feel they got burned by the falling price (they had a chance to make money when supply was turned off) - new buyers feel like they are getting a bargain
At any time a buyer will feel that they are getting a certain first-mover advantage by acting now, which is what AM want - happy customers.
When other suppliers have products to ship in volume the strategy will have to change to commodity-style pricing.
BTW I think .025 is a realistic dividend for this week. I'd be very surprised if more than 15 blades were sold this week, just by gauging the level of interest in the blade sales thread. However the figure may be pushed up if there were some sales from the previous week that weren't counted until this week. We don't know about off-forum sales of USB sticks, so there could be some unexpected upside there. But .025 looks achievable.
It seems that Bitfountain have been putting effort into boosting the hash rate this week, so perhaps in the next few weeks there will be somewhat higher returns from the farm.

I'm expecting dividends to be delayed this week.
Edit: Nevermind, this is still a bit premature as most of the network is running 0.8.1. Also, someone pointed out to me that the dust spam is sent separately from dividends, so it shouldn't matter for the real BTC

Very hard to estimate based on the forum and research.
I got in at 1.5 per share, and am thinking about selling at this point.
Can someone offer some projections based in fact? All I'm reading is about good dividends (good news) but share price has been pretty stable the past week and doesn't show much trade volume, what is going to change?
How long are some of you thinking of holding for?

Nothing is changing, the market is stable because there were many sells on the forum. Price is still rising.
Looking for a bit more than that. Has ASICMINER moved in a new direction? Is it planning on acquiring new business? How is it evolving and what do you base your valuation on?

okay lets say you have 10 shares cost you 15 coins. list 5 at 2.8 sell for 14 coins. cost for the 5 shares you have = 1 coin do nothing but collect dividends on the 5 shares. in a few months time cash the dividends . once they get to 1 coin. you will now have 5 free shares of am stock
