Otcrit plans to issue different reports and analyses regularly in many categories, like company assessment reports, community-based reports, technical analyses and more. These works will be prepared by experienced specialists and available on our platform. Our team will constantly strive to update the information we provide, and all updates of the purchased analyses will be sent to the customers via email at no extra cost. We will publish these papers, not only in English, but also in Russian, Chinese, Japanese and other languages.

Otcritex

The Otcrit exchange will list only projects audited and evaluated by our research team and certified partners. We give users 3 ways to pay fewer to no fees while trading. This is possible by being active, by inviting friends and by using our tokens. If our users go over their average monthly volume, we will remove their fees until the end of the month or when they go over it by 50%.
10% of the digital assets, collected from fees on the platform will be distributed to our token holders. These rewards will be sent out simultaneously every week via a smart contract

Bounty Program/Job Interview

The Bounty Campaign (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2747369) will have two levels, a standard one with stakes, and exclusive one only for our platform users. During our bounty campaign we will collect valuable information about the community users who post objective, high quality reports and technical analyses. The top authors, who are available, will be offered to join our experts team and start working for Otcrit full-time. This way they can continue to share their knowledge and always earn from it.

TOKEN DISTRIBUTION

The total tokens distributed to the public will be 83% of the total supply of 100m. Our main and pre-sale will collectively sell 70% of the tokens, and 8% will be sent out in bounties for the next 1 year, for content creators, authors, found bugs, and other initiatives, during and after both funding campaigns.
Our presale will issue up to 8,5% of the total supply with the intention to use the collected funds to expand the Otcrit team of developers and analysts and finance our marketing strategy, legal and license costs.

The presale event will have the following rules:

1 ETH will give participants 5000 OTC tokens with a bonus of 20% for the first week.

With special “Perks” for our presale investors, published in our Whitepaper.

The fee share is pretty average IMO > 10% exchange. 20% ad rev.

Hi, I'm Victor Dessov, one of Otcrit's founders. I see your point, other exchanges have introduced higher fee shares before us in terms of percentage.
However, I must add that we will be having 5 sources of income in total, including our bench-marking services and subscriptions and they will all be included in the reward distribution. The ad revenue is also very high considering the high demand and the exclusive service it will be - limited only to high-rated projects and ICOs. We are positive that the unique features of our exchange will make it really desirable among traders and that a significant growth of the traded volume could be reached from the very first year of the exchange's existence.
Furthermore, our team will keep a only small amount of the tokens - 10%. Launching a trading platform is costly and we will be having quite a lot of expenses when it comes to maintenance and development and our business would be unsustainable if we were to give out 50% of the profit. Please let me know, if you have any other concerns  :)

These Twitter phishing attacks are very common in crypto and there is no way to prevent them. Only trust information coming from our official social media channels, website, blogs, forum or telegram!

We never did an airdrop. I have no idea what you are talking about. Have you seen any of our official channels say anything about an aridrop? Whoever promotes Airdrops with our name is trying to scam people. Such posts and tweets must be reported, not shared.
There was some phishing attempt on twitter I hope you didn't fall for it.

Do not feed the trolls. It is obviously that this is a spam post to increase post count. A lof of account farmers are specialized in creating and leveling up accounts to sell them later. If you take a look at its post history you see it.

Thank you for your question. We will put a great effort in hiring high-level experts that will be working for Otcrit full time and together produce many reports and analysis. We plan to also issue our own articles, and overall market evaluations regularly.

Once the OTC-100 Index is complete a lot of emphases will be put on these project and we will track their development closely, but we won't forget the rest of the industry of course.

Of course, our strategy is to attract some of the well-known names in this field that we respect and share the same views. However, anyone is welcomed on the Otcrit platform.

We already have hundreds of trading exchange with so many features, i do not say your platform is not good by my statement but i am just trying to see if it worth raising funds for, i cannot download your whitepaper yet due to internet service fluctuations; i shall draw my conclusion after reading through it.

the price seems very expensive and the total supply is 100m,so the marketscap is very high also!

Only 70m tokens will be sold and 8m distributed via bounty for the campaign and for publishing reports on the platform. We believe the hard cap is actually quite normal, considering what we are trying to build and how many people we need. At the moment one token is $0,15 I don't think that's expensive in any way, but I appreciate your feedback.

I don't understand why you cannot download the whitepaper if you DM me your email I can send it to you. There are many exchanges, I agree, but this doesn't mean they will scale or stay on the scene long-term. Of course, I cannot say that we will also succeed, but we will give our best to be open and transparent and bring a lot of value to the community of traders and investors with our informational platform and marketplace.

Hi, I understand your concerns, but Otcritex is really, in our opinion, the next step when it comes to exchanges. First of all, the database that we gather on the Otcrit Platform (upcoming forks & milestones, technical analyses, fundamental analyses) will be available on the exchange as well and will help traders make better decisions. Second, we are truly concentrated on the adoption of crypto in real life. We will be listing only projects with solid teams and business plans, the assets of which you can utilize to pay for actual services and products. There will even be links on the exchange itself taking users to the websites where the purchased tokens are accepted. The companies that we have allowed on the Otcritex will be tracked and if we see that a project is not living up to the promises that they make to their supporters, we will be temporarily delisting them. Our main concern is having distributed ledger technologies penetrate our daily lives instead of merely participating in any price speculations.

There are other indexes, of course, but it doesn't seem they have strict rules for listing and some of the projects on them are very high-risk investments with questionable team or background. They are mostly based on marketcap and hype. The OTC 100 Index will closely follow each project's development to delist any if they don't perform.

Probably, you heard about S&P 500 or DJ-300, so Otrict-100 is the same, but only for projects using blockchain/cryptocurrency.

I don't think this is a good idea, mate, cause this thread is for investors and they are not interested in reading bounty signatures. Such activity will only annoy them, cause they need a real info about the project. And that info is born in discussions, not in signatures. ;)

As I understand, any user can leave his report on your site, but if so, then there is a high risk that eventually your site will turn into a pile of such reports and they won't provide any value. How are you going to fight with this?

An excellent solution will be to rank users according to their merits, in other words, after the report is compiled, it is sent to the project editor, who evaluates and publishes it, then, after the necessary time period it will be decided whether this report was useful to investors or not. You can also allow users and investors to judge each other.

I heard that holders will get paid, is that true?

Yes, there is a module on our platform where anyone can publish their reports, but they must be approved before they become visible to other users and as the platform grows this process will become automatic for users with a high positive rating. These will also be the users who can receive payments and be hired by other members to write a report or do a technical analysis on request.

We are also going to create "rooms" where high-ranked members can publish their reports visible for a certain group of people who have joined that particular room. They could also require payments to join, based on who the author is. It will give a very convenient way of reaching more people to professionals who have no time to build a website or run a telegram group where it could get messy very easily.


Yes, OTC token holders receive a share of the profit our company makes from each service we provide. This also applies to content creators who will get a share of our advertisement program, similar to what YouTube does.

The idea of ranking is also presented in the WP, there are no questions. But if you allow users of the platform to put estimates, then immediately there is a way to get them unfairly, and in that case they won’t be valuable at all. So the right to evaluate should still be left to the editors.

You should read the article more attentively, mate ;) It is written there, that: "Unlike the rewards from fees on the exchange and subscriptions that token holders receive in Ether, the ad revenue will be distributed in OTC tokens to reward our valued authors and analysts" So, if you are just a token holder and not an author or analyst, then you will receive profit in eth. By the way, it is a first project, on my memory, that pay in eth, not in tokens.

What data are you going to collect and analyse for your reviews? How would that differ from existing services?

I agree with you, it's hard to understand what's going on here, even if you will subscribe on 30 telegram channels about crypto :D As i understood, this team wants to hire some experts, in order to provide high quality analysis, so it won't be just another ICO-list with overall info and an estimate. 

The data will be the one, presented by the projects (WP, Github, website), but it will be looked into in a critical manner. Through our guidelines analysts will be breaking down the business plan piece by piece, developers will be evaluating the code, researchers will be digging for any inconsistencies with the team' statements, alleged collaborations, etc. We'll be very skeptical and critical towards all projects. Investors need protection, while promising ventures need to be highlighted. Our strive is to introduce blockchain to the everyday life, not to promise everyone to be a millionaire someday.

We are mainly interested in the usability of the crypto-assets, hence, we are developing our own Proof of Usability concept. Beta-testers will be trying the products and services for themselves before laying down their estimates. If a product or a service cannot be adopted by the general public, then they have no future. Unlike our competitors, we are interested mainly in the disruptive projects, that could survive a possible market crash - not the speculative cryptocurrencies.

We will certainly reach the soft cap and then plan from there. We are trying to close some deals with big investors which is usually how pre-sales are getting filled. It is being redesigned as we speak and we will be able to show you some of the progress soon. What's online now is just an Alpha version not a Beta. But it works very well with a lot of the functionalities fully operational.

I agree, I am subscribed to 20 telegram channels, I also look through the ICO-lists regularly, add watch couple more channels on YouTube and there is no shortage of high-quality information about it. Of course, we will have to look for it, but still we live in the age of "information technologies", it's time to learn how to separate the grain from the chaff ;)

You are right, guys, there is really no information deficit, but on all these channels the same information is circling around and basically this is ordinary news, maximum they will add tech. analysis, but this is just the pick of the iceberg. It is not hard to make a good investment decision when everyone is putting money in the market and there are so much hype and advertisement. Have you thought about the fact that probably all of these channels offer some kind of paid endorsement? Maybe a paid pinned post, maybe just "mentioning" of a project one too many times. And again you must follow 20 channels on telegram and youtube and blogs, etc. We put everything in one place and we remove the bad low-quality promotional type of information that aims to trick you into believing that the project has long-term potential. Maybe it doesn't, a lot of projects has this potential but this still doesn't mean we should not challenge them and dig deeper and deeper to learn more about their product, strategy, and fundamentals.

What we are getting ready for is the next stage of the crypto market. The stage where all we become more mature, we understand what we are dealing with and we take more professional approach. It's not a coincidence we compare the crypto space to the wild wild west. It is. But when the community gets bigger, when we are more educated when we see more regulations, you will not be able to just hype and promote. You will need to work, you'll need to show what you are capable of before collecting $40,000,000 for an idea that will never become a business.

Try to find information about any public company trading on NASDAQ. Now try to find the same amount of information about a company traded on Bittrex. Don't you think there is too much of "Guy, they are building a great product, they have so many partnerships, this is the next big thing".

Again, this doesn't mean there are no good channels and group who are dedicated to help, educate and do proper research. But nothing is what it seems it is in this market. 20 000 telegrams channels with fake members, 300 pages on bitcoin talk full of shills, 20+ videos on youtube for 1 BTC each. Believe me, if you now develop the best algorithm, 10 times faster than BITCOIN, 100 times more secure and private than monero, with the lowest amount of fees and no need of POW, no one would ever do a video about it until you somehow reach top 10 all of a sudden. Because most people don't care about this and don't review quality projects if they don't get paid.

The community now only sees a good project in the ones that have crushed their campaigns, collecting $30m for 7 minutes. How great is this project, huh? We think a project is great only because everyone keeps repeating how great it is. In reality, it is probably a scam with a very good marketing strategy and a million dollars budget for the advertisement that should actually be more than enough in many cases to build the product you need the funding for. But people are greedy. We need more tokens we need more speculation and even exchanges can't handle the number of requests so they just charge $2m for listing. And we pay them, we bend over and we give away our capital without a fight and our investors are happy about it because they get to sell and speculate. They don't care what you are building, they don't care about the product. Welcome to what we have created because we think everything is fine as long as "I made 10x on my investment".

Come back in two years and you will see what Otcrit has become and how valuable the platform is.

Why only 100 companies will be included in your index? Is it possible that in time there will be more?

In the next couple of years, I don't think that they will need to increase the number of companies in the index, until there are so many worthy projects. However, in a few years it will be quite a reasonable step, because if you think that more than 100 projects are worthy of being in your rating, why not to increase it?

We will start with 100 and go from there. There more bad projects than good unfortunately so this is like a good average. This doesn't mean that we will only have 100 projects in our database. We will have all of them but these will be the most solid tokens with highest ratings.

I like in your project that you are ahead of time, although in fact many projects on the blockchain are ahead of time, but still. Now, really, very few people have a serious approach to trading with the crypto currency, mostly people buy and sell on signals, and it is difficult to give unprofitable signals on such a hype

It’s very good for the projects, because paying $ 2-3m just for listing is unimaginable! Especially if there is a worthy alternative in the face of Otcrit.

This was an extreme example, but some projects are even being asked for more plus token share. Your Bounty management is very good.I really enjoy it.

We are already a company, which is officially registered in Bulgaria, but the exchange itself needs an additional registration. And in order to obtain the licence, one has to meet a capital requirement of 750,000 EUR. It is one of the main reasons for us to conduct the ICO in the first place. We have the developers, working on the exchange in the meantime and one of the products - the alpha version of the informational marketplace (soon to get a brand new redesign) is already out there. If the ICO is not successful and we don't reach the soft cap, then everyone will get their ETH back. If it is, however, then there is no risk of not getting the licence because we would have filled the most important requirement and we will initiate the legal process straight away.

We already had a representative of ours on the Blockchain&Bitcoin Conference in Istanbul on the 1st of March, we have attended also several events in Berlin and Sofia. We are very likely to have a representative on The World Blockchain Forum in Dubai on 16th&17th of April, which is among the most important crypto-events in the world. We are also considering seriously attending a major upcoming summit in Amsterdam, once we are certain about it, we will announce it via our social media :)

Probably, decentralised one, because there's no point in building smth with irrelevant approach. We live at the time of decentralisation  ;)

It will be a centralized exchange with decentralized payments on the research platform. We believe dex exchanges still need a few years to prove they work and the technology needs to catch up to the fast and reliable centralized platforms like balance and bittrex, for example. We are developing what can provide the best user experience at the moment.


Yes, we are planning to do that, but at first, it will only be crypto-to-crypto exchange but fiat currencies and payments will come as soon as possible.


If you dig deeper into our project you will understand that at the moment decentralized platform will not serve the users as well as we want. :) Nothing wrong with a centralized platform as long as it's secured and constantly tested. Many users prefer this way of trading and this will continue to be like this because trust me, people lose passwords and PK's and we need to have an entity to go to when we have an issue with the platform. We do however plan to research and develop a DEX platform and test it while our exchange is also running to make sure we can launch a product that the people want when the time is right.

I read today, that Coinbase is creating its own index fund. Probably this idea will be taken by other exchanges, so hurry up, Otcrit! ;)

They have another structure behind their index. Their portfolio will consist only of the GDAX coins: 62% Bitcoin, 27% Ethereum, 7% Bitcoin Cash, 4% Litecoin. Otcrit are going to create a bigger index, which will include Top 100 companies

The main token sale that starts on 1st of May we be capped at 10 000 ETH. We don't plan to change the hard cap because if the Ether price at the moment.

What exactly was the issue with the bonuses? There was a 20% bonus followed by a 10% bonus. We could have made it 100% bonus or 10000% and still users would be getting the sdame amount of tokens. You do realize that these bonuses don't mean much, right? They give a slight advantage for the first to buy.
