1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: May 23, 2024, 11:40:20 PM
What about those people that has full understanding about there finance and also has a discretionary income. the knowledge of Bitcoin is different from that of finance, you can be a beginner (newbie) but have all knowledge about financial management.
So if such person's are going into Bitcoin investment all they need to know is how to invest and how Bitcoin works.
I agree with you and I believe having knowledge of self custody is very important and yet knowledge of self-custody is not a prerequisite in terms of getting into bitcoin you are very correct.
While I agree to you in most of what you've said but learning how to invest in Bitcoin isn't just all about how to invest and how Bitcoin works. There's so much they need to learn but I don't want to complicate it because they'd come by to that once they're already in. Like how to protect themselves from potential scams and phishing, so knowing the volatility of Bitcoin which is included on how BTC works but all of those will be learned by the newbies once they have allotted money on BTC already.

A lot of people has good knowledge of financial strength and management and also good knowledge in Bitcoin and all they need is a good strategy on how to start and I believe too much in strategy will make beginners confused in carrying out their investment except they are very much articulate.
IMHO, there is no need for so much strategy before someone invests in BTC. Having the basic and common knowledge is enough to start but even if they have a background in finance, BTC is totally different from what they used to see but that's a good start if they have it because they're already well versed with taking risk.
2  Economy / Gambling / Re: More revelations on the challenges of physical casinos on: May 23, 2024, 10:35:59 PM
But I have seen quite few land base casinos now going to full online or at least they have the online version of it. So they are now venturing and trying to compete with the online casinos because they know that if they don't evolved and just wait for gamblers to go to their casinos, it might be too late.
Because they are going to lose a lot of potential customers if they are not going to adapt the trend of online casinos. There is no other way to go but to build the same platform as the others while maintaining their physical operations. Could have been late but I think that they'll be able to cope with the competition.

I'm saying this because I have received several emails already from land base casinos that I frequented, during the pandemic they have their version but still minimal. But now base on the emails, it's now bigger and again, they are going to take some slice on that big pie, a billion dollar industry.
Are these from our local casinos? Because the local ones in our country still sticks to their physical operations where they've been based and most of them are into a hotel and casino setup.
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game asking for KYC before letting me Withdraw on: May 21, 2024, 10:37:26 PM
That's efialtis for us, has got a lot of connection to the casinos here. But I think OP has got the problem with documents and its expirations.
Good to know that's what his capable of doing and have been doing.
Yea, OP has documentation and expiration problem and seems in his country they hardly use the passport for validation. It's always a KYC related problem when a document is locally accepted but not internationally accepted.
And even with a guarantee, if the problem is on OP about these docs then the problem might or might have been solved already.

That's a nice act from efialtis, as always, helping the community with his connections with casinos. +1 for that.

But the problem is that OP has been away from the forum since 1 week ago, and there is no way to contact him, he doesn't have any contact link on his profile, so, we will have to wait until the next time he connects to the forum to help him. I don't doubt he is working hard now on his passport process.
Maybe it was solved already? we don't know, only him can tell it when he's back.
4  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance app is no longer available in Philippines. on: May 20, 2024, 11:17:54 PM
Just an update: many of our fellow countrymen is still able to acces Binance through desktop whilst for the APP, they're having some connection issues. I have seen in other crypto communities on social media that many still uses Binance and yes, they're from our country and having no issues at all. But for me, I wouldn't take that risk until this issue is clear and our SEC gives a go-signal for Binance to re-operate although there's really no stoppage at all. Knowing our country, this is sad that they are not truly strict with implementation of the law.
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game asking for KYC before letting me Withdraw on: May 20, 2024, 10:49:40 PM
Unfortunately, I have only seen this thread now.

Is this solved?

I just reached out to BC and if it's not sorted, it will be sorted out by tomorrow.
Good to hear this bold positive statement.

6  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Seabank sa P2P Exchange on: May 19, 2024, 11:27:18 PM

May free transfers pa yan.
7  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippine peso Stablecoin on: May 19, 2024, 09:08:16 PM

At ano bang mag reason?
8  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippine peso Stablecoin on: May 16, 2024, 11:31:33 PM

9  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Play-to-Airdrop (Worth it kaya?) on: May 16, 2024, 10:07:39 PM
Grin
10  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippine peso Stablecoin on: May 13, 2024, 10:08:35 PM

12  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Scam phone call scheme on: May 06, 2024, 11:07:18 PM
13  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto airdrop seminar on: May 06, 2024, 10:11:00 PM

16  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance app is no longer available in Philippines. on: April 29, 2024, 10:04:18 PM
Thanks Binance but no thanks anymore, most of us have already pulled out the little funds that we've got there. We'll miss your launchpool and simple earn.  Cry
I feel like their wording implies they might re-enter the Phillippines market though, but well, who knows. If it allows your local market to flourish I think that's not a bad trade. CMIIIW.
Yeah, that's how it should be but they've done that even before the SEC advisory but this is the first time that they've given any statement regarding this matter. But with that, I am not expecting anything positive to happen as of this moment but maybe in a couple of months, there could be some great changes that will allow us to get back on their platform without having any legal issues. With some of our countrymen that can still access Binance through desktop, they're still on it and gets into their launchpad as Binance can't confiscate their users money just because of this restriction from our SEC.
17  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Binance Launchpad Thread on: April 29, 2024, 08:59:30 PM

19  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Binance being banned in the Philippines in a few days on: April 26, 2024, 11:37:00 PM
Walang anuman kabayan.
20  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance app is no longer available in Philippines. on: April 25, 2024, 11:02:32 PM
