801  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Warning Scam] Okbet casino sobrang hassle on: September 08, 2023, 05:51:25 PM

Puwede subukang mag-reach out sa former employer mo at contact-in mo lang yung HR nila.
802  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Fee Observer Thread in USD(sat/vB) on: September 08, 2023, 03:37:55 PM

Miners or Shitcoin traders kaya ang may gawa nito?
Mas tumaas siya habang nagta-type ako ngayon.

Code:
No Priority  Low Priority  Medium Priority  High Priority
16 sat/vB   33 sat/vB       35 sat/vB         36 sat/vB
$0.58         $1.20              $1.27               $1.30

803  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Over 4 million accounts ng Gcash ay binlock. on: September 08, 2023, 04:02:01 AM

Smiley
804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is actually a Bitcoin investor on: September 07, 2023, 07:31:48 PM
You have bitcoin? Then you're a bitcoin investor. You don't have it, then you're not a bitcoin investor. That's simple as that, as long as you have it on your wallet and you have spent money for buying then you are in the category of being a bitcoin investor. There's also this instance that you're still a bitcoin investor but you haven't spent any penny on it. How? When someone gives it to you and you hold now full custody on it then that's still considered that you're a bitcoin investor if you have kept it and have no plans yet of selling it. There's no need to make things very confusing so if it's no longer in your posession and you sent your bitcoin as a payment, you don't have it anymore. Therefore, you're no longer an investor of it but you used to be.
You're right. As someone who is not an expert, researcher or economic observer or can be called a layman, we do not need to complicate our view of who Bitcoin investors actually are.
Yes, I also think so that there is no need to make it difficult for us to know specifically who a Bitcoin investor is, because in my opinion in simple terms anyone who buys and owns Bitcoin can be considered a Bitcoin investor, despite each of us having different goals and different activities in utilizing the Bitcoin that we have.
Yes, that's simple and easy as it is to understand.

But what about those who own bitcoin for the purpose of paying bills? Are they considered bitcoin investors? Because bitcoin was created by Satoshi as a means of peer-to-peer payment and we ourselves made it an investment by creating volatility. As far as I know, not everyone invests in bitcoin, there are still some who just use it as a currency. So I think owning bitcoins to be called an investor is not entirely correct. Investing is when you have the purpose of making a profit from it.
Using it for payments differs from owning, holding and investing on it. Do you hold Bitcoin for investing or for paying your bills? While that's true that Bitcoin was certainly made for P2P payments but a lot has changed, that usage was never gone but just added for being a store of value. So, if you have bitcoin and uses it for payments then technically, you're not an investor per se.

806  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: How to earn and Increase Merits on: September 07, 2023, 02:25:44 PM
Hi! Ngayon pa lang ulit ako nakapag open ng bitcointalk account after 3 years. Ano po mga ways to earn merits and makasali naman sa ga bounties ? Salamat po sa sasagot. Cheesy

As of now ako iwas muna sa stake gamit mo mga alternative gambling online casino like Roobet.

812  Economy / Economics / Re: I wonder if food prices in your country have also increased? on: September 05, 2023, 11:38:13 PM
I guess that this problem is almost on every country even on the first world countries. We're also suffering from the high inflation and we're dealing on it everyday. As much as I want to buy everything based on the set budget weekly, it doesn't cover everything anymore with our food that we're used to purchase. And those times were like our shopping carts were full but these days, it is no longer full anymore and it's not even half. A lot has changed from the pandemic and going with the war, up to oil price increases, it's not just so right anymore.
This is happening all around the world. Even the Europeans were suffering much out of the rise in the food price. NGO and social service communities have organised food/vegetables/fruits stalls in which people can go get there necessary things free of cost. This is being supplied on weekly based based on the availability of food/vegetables/fruits. Big number of people around Europe is fulfilling their food needs through these stalls. Hope scenario will change to the past days when people were able to fulfill their food requirements without spending much.
There have been those type of activities and pantry's in my country before and during the time of covid, there are still some of it but no longer taken into the media because of how price of everything is rising up. I also hope that this will really change everything and things will be back neutrally. If it's not for these big sources of our needs, coming from oil, ingredients and other food sources, things won't be up. There should be a consensus globally in ending this inflation but no way, some one or some groups are taking the benefits of this so they won't allow that to happen.
813  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May user ba dito na biktima ng Mt.Gox on: September 05, 2023, 08:12:53 PM
Baka may bumalato pa kapag nalaman ng ibang tao na may matatanggap na galing sa mt.gox refund.  Grin

Bragging rights lang yung makukuha mo once na ideclare mo sarili mo as a victim, like one of the OGs ka, pumaldo ka dahil sa unlucky incident na hacking and of course swerte yung tingin sayo ng mga tao which infact is I think grabe yung pag ka dismaya mo if ikaw yung nawalan ng funds before seeing how much bitcoin grown back then.

Yep, me too if ako naging victim ako at may potential akong makarecieve ng refund is siguradong mananahimik lang ako. Pwede ka maging potential target ng hacker as soon as ngayon palang given na sobrang laki ng makukuha mo even in USD value. Even outside dito sa local board natin is halos sobrang onti lang ng open na makakakuha sila ng refund galing sa Mt.Gox and I understand naman kasi mas ok talaga maging lowkey. Sure OG yung mga makakakuha dito, malay natin si sir Dabs meron makuha which is yung old moderator natin dito sa Philippine board. Just speculating lang LOL.
Baka may bumalato pa kapag nalaman ng ibang tao na may matatanggap na galing sa mt.gox refund.  Grin

Gox marahil ay maroong Filipino outside the forum.
815  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: September 05, 2023, 11:46:32 AM
in terms of negotiation, men are much better at it, in presentations men are also more talented. but in sales it is women who are more attractive than men. So both are needed in their respective expertise. for example, men are for getting clients and potential business colleagues, while women are very suitable for attracting large-scale sales.
In both terms that you've mentioned, women can always take advantage of the situation. Honestly, I think that they're better especially if they're experienced and has got the looks. With men being attractive to women especially the beautiful ones, they're using and capitalizing that asset of theirs to start their own community and as well as repeat customers. Just for example, in social media, you see that young or adult attractive women are almost everywhere and that's why they've got an edge in whatever they'll do.

Whenever someone signs up for an exchange account or an airdrop account, see to it that you'll receive unsolicited emails even if you don't want to.

Then the cycle repeats, new bull run, new trends, new cash flows, new victims. The market will never be lack of victims.
Yes, that's how it goes with these scammers. Every trend that comes and every market that changes the setting, there will be victims that will complain about how they've been scammed but before reporting that, they have never questioned the emails or messages that came from these scammers.
819  Economy / Economics / Re: I wonder if food prices in your country have also increased? on: September 04, 2023, 09:51:30 AM
This is the biggest problem right now in my country. We have high inflation, everything is getting more expensive day by day but the increase in food prices is the most challenging situation for the people. We have other economic problems like house rents, electricity etc.
In general food prices are going up in the world but it hits harder for developing countries. I don't think this will change anytime soon.
