101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie traders, work on yourself. on: January 28, 2024, 11:59:41 PM
Everyone here started from scratch and work on their own, except for those who have no plans to develop their own potentials and be successful. But when it comes to trading, which known to be a battle of brain and emotions, you should play the game smart and wise, otherwise you will always end up losing in trading because you never know how to play to win.
Ain't know how this will work, you'll play the game smart and wise in trading which is unrealistic IMO.
Trading isn't talking all about making a profit, sometimes through your loss you'll learn and there will be progress in your trading activities to make it better in the future.  In short, losing is a part of your progress before you become successful in trading.

Trading is indeed a battle that unfolds the field of both intellect and emotions.
Playing the game wisely involves understanding the market situation, managing risks effectively, knowing how to stop loss, and keeping emotionally aware.  Because IMO, success in trading is not just about participating, it's about playing to win, and without strategic skills or knowledge, and the ability to adapt to market changes, one risks falling prey to losses.
102  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much Did you like this forum on: January 26, 2024, 11:53:46 PM
Furthermore ,I Dont know How much you like the forum , But To me this is the best forum I have ever joined in  life with a higher prospect , here I see people  contribute awesomely And knowledgeably To a particular discussion , people relate like brothers And Sisters , High ranked members always correct the newbies And many more .
Those who are Bitcoin geeks maybe they are, not just a basic information about crypto but they deeply understand and are knowledgeable enough when it comes to technical discussion about Bitcoin.

In my case, I'm here in the forum just want to be updated always in what happening in the crypto space.
As a crypto enthusiast, we always wanted to gather news and ideas about what is new in this field.  So this forum is a perfect place to share ideas and discussions when we can find them with other members and as I said those are Bitcoin geeks.

BTW, I like newbies who want to learn knowledge here in the forum and not talk about earning.
103  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: EncyptoNotes app on: January 26, 2024, 11:38:53 PM
I can't find other tools on Android that can do this it seems only Openkeychain app is the only app available I don't know for IOS it seems it does not yet exist.
I heard this from one of my friends last month talking about encryption and decryption capabilities apps.
I think this is similar to Openkeychain, you can find it on the Google Play Store.

It's K-9 mail, once installed, you can integrate it with OpenKeychain.

As long as it's an open-source app maybe we can trust it once we verify it on our own.
Because IMO, everything you store on the internet is prone to hacking.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Satoshi Nakamoto remove the 21 million BTC limit? on: January 19, 2024, 11:59:24 PM
IMO, yes it can be possible if Satoshi wants to but the 21 million max limits is already on the Bitcoin protocol.
So to change that protocol there could be widely accepted consensus among the Bitcoin community, including miners, developers, and users as mentioned above.  Because the decentralized nature of Bitcoin means that changes to the protocol are proposed and implemented through a consensus mechanism that involves miners, developers, and users.

IMO, even Satoshi has nothing to do now with the Bitcoin supply.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet suggestions? on: January 16, 2024, 11:57:57 PM
I won't recommend any as long as you don't understand the fundamental functions of the wallet that you need.
Because it depends on what you need and what wallet is suitable for you because it's useless if I say you need a cold storage wallet but often use it.  I suggest you read first the link that I dropped below, you may learn the pros and cons of every wallet.
https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet?step=1

So good luck, learn first on your own so that you have a better idea not relying on everyone to deal with your security and privacy by owning your wallet.
106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Signs you should know to take profit from your crypto investment on: January 16, 2024, 11:35:40 PM
2. Reaching personal target goals
Of course, this should be a must.
If your crypto asset has reached a predefined price target that you think will reach the level you consider satisfactory, it might be a good time to take profits.  Many of us store the value of Bitcoin and set a target for when to harvest it, even how long it is.

How many of us here think that will miss a chance during the bull market and sell it quickly?
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise and Fall of ICOs: Lessons Learned on: January 16, 2024, 11:26:26 PM
Oh, I remember back then 2017 when I was new in crypto and the ICO was hyped at that moment.
But to be honest, I gained a lot of profit during those days most especially the airdrop and investing ICO, not like these days it's more on hype made by the community and there's no utility.  Not like successful ICOs were transparent about their team, project details, and development progress.

After ICO, there are IEOs, DeFi, NFTs, and now DAOs. (forgot meme projects)
So I'm thinking now which one of them becomes worth it in the future.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever regretted selling your bitcoins ? on: January 16, 2024, 11:14:45 PM
Upon seeing the total spent on my Bitcoin wallet, yes, I felt regret.
But I already accepted it, because selling our Bitcoin helped us when we at the time we badly needed it.

At least we helped Bitcoin circulation as a way of payment.
Regular spending on Bitcoin helps promote its adoption to become a legitimate means of payment.
The more people use Bitcoin for everyday transactions, the more it becomes accepted by merchants and by many service providers.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how wasabi, electrum, exodus ... make money ? on: January 16, 2024, 10:55:19 PM
Its was always a thought , how the manage to make profit making a crypto wallet company free for people ?

PD: and the case of wallets without buy and sell options for crypto JUST a normal wallet.
Electrum doesn't generate revenue directly from the wallet itself. However, developers or contributors may receive donations from users who appreciate the service.
I tend to agree, upon reading the OP's question, I'm thinking this answer.
Since Electrum is open-source or any open-source wallet, most of the developers who contribute to the progress of such open-source wallet often do so voluntarily, which means, they didn't generate any profit.  But their passion as a developer pushes them to contribute to any open source projects like Electrum Wallet.

I didn't know Exodus wallet since I didn't use it.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong perspective towards Bitcoin investment on: January 15, 2024, 10:55:38 PM
I couldn't just leave him hanging with that mentality towards Bitcoin. I showed him some love by converting $10 worth of Bitcoin from my personal funds, sending it to him, and also sent him the BTT link so he can learn from a large Bitcoin community. I have done my part, and I repeat: there is no such thing as getting rich quick. I am glad he has joined the community, but wouldn't want to be mentioned.
That's a good samaritan.

And also, share this link with him.
https://bitcoin.org/en/

When I was new in crypto, I was also a victim of a mining scam website in which I invested.
But, that costly mistake taught me how to avoid not repeat in the future.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you can build trust in the crypto community? on: January 14, 2024, 11:59:27 PM
Trust can be built in a matter of time.
Just like in personal relationships, building trust in business requires ongoing communication and engagement and most especially should provide transparent information and be open about your steps toward making progress.

It should also be timely support, it must provide efficient and timely customer support to address user queries and concerns.
A responsive support team can significantly enhance user trust.

I think this is the most important of all, it's open-source code.
If applicable, consider open-sourcing parts of your project's code because this demonstrates transparency and allows the community to verify the security of your system.
112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your advised for being a trader? on: January 14, 2024, 11:36:39 PM
Trading without prior knowledge on trading will most likely end up gambling.
Seems like you entered a battlefield where you don't have a weapon, it's a suicide mission.

Here's my advice.
  • Be knowledgeable
  • Don't be greedy
  • Use always a stop-loss
  • Stick to the plan

Trading isn't always aiming to gain profit, sometimes you accept losses for you to learn such mistakes.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't only pray for mass adoption, start HODLING!! on: January 14, 2024, 11:24:49 PM
I've taken my first step to aquire my first 10$ worth of bitcoin, I'm not earning much but I plan to consistently invest in Bitcoin so incase bitcoin enters its next phase of bull run, I would also run with it. Don't procrastinate this year. Start Hodling.
Good to know about this and congratulations on your successful first step, I hope you know also how to keep safe your Bitcoin while preparing for the next bullrun.  I don't know if the DCA method of purchasing Bitcoin still works since we noticed Bitcoin continuously rising the price but I think this needs to have proper market monitoring.  Just make sure that you cover the fees before purchasing Bitcoin, also it's ideal to purchase Bitcoin if the transaction doesn't have much traffic that results from high fees.

You can check it here.
https://mempool.emzy.de/

As you can see right at this moment while posting this there's a huge fee, it's a $6 fee so you will receive $4 into your wallet if you purchase worth $10.
114  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't trust social media on: January 14, 2024, 11:02:34 PM
Thanks for that warning, but I'm just curious what social media it is and can you at least drop the name so that it's easy to avoid once someone encounters this?  Is this a vlogger or an influencer?  If so, sometimes it depends on the reputation to which people easily entrust their funds and avail their offer.

There are too many strangers on social media, I even received a bunch of messages on my social media regarding crypto trading and creating an account, offering help for free but usually I ignored them especially if I didn't know who I was talking with.

Cases like this should always put in our mind that we should always be knowledgeable first in crypto before putting our funds.

116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next alt season? on: January 09, 2024, 11:59:31 PM
There's an altcoins season just because of Bitcoin.
When Bitcoin price increases, of course, altcoins too because most trading pairs are in Bitcoin.  The reason why is like this, Bitcoin holds the highest market capitalization and liquidity among all cryptocurrencies those traders and investors often use Bitcoin as a gateway to the cryptocurrency market.

So trading pairs of Bitcoin makes there's an alt season.
So wait for the Bitcoin price to push through and allocate a bigger percentage on Bitcoin than altcoins.
117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the difference between crypto trading and traditional stock trading on: January 09, 2024, 11:38:09 PM
Most have similarities, from speculations, and management risk, and the tools they use in trading are almost the same (TA and FA).
But IMO, the only difference is the time zone in trading.

Crypto trading, it's a nonstop trading operation because it operates 24/7, so providing continuous trading opportunities.
If we compare it to traditional stock trading, there are specific operating hours during business days based on the exchange and country.
Also in forex trading, it operates 24 hours a day during the business week, reflecting different time zones.

So it means, there are a lot of traders on crypto even though we're in different time zones.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your predictions for the state of Bitcoin in 2024? on: January 09, 2024, 11:23:50 PM
Even if it doesn't reach it ATH, but there will be a massive push.
The price of this year could be a good start to reach the ATH.
I've witnessed twice that there's a massive push right after the next halving the 2nd and the 3rd halving which all of them bring a good price to the Bitcoin.  A month(s) after the next halving the price went crazy and that's what most people anticipated now.

We've seen a lot of predictions over the internet and most of them have a positive perspective that Bitcoin will have a potential this year or in next year.  No one knows, we should rather prepared.
119  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: More reason you should protect your privacy and anonymity as a Bitcoin holder. on: January 08, 2024, 11:59:46 PM
Yes, this isn't new in crypto, we heard different sad stories in crypto that happened to our fellow crypto enthusiasts because they didn't care about their privacy.  But there's nothing we can do about this get learn from their mistakes.  We should value our Bitcoin like real money and I think, this kidnap and ransom not only happen on Bitcoin but is usually common in fiat.

So to avoid this, we should be cautious about sharing information that could be used to predict our actions, especially posting it on social media.
Most especially those habit of displaying expensive belongings in public or on social media.
120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots on Binance on: January 08, 2024, 11:33:48 PM
It might be those only members active in trading who received a notification because I didn't get notified about this.
Sounds new to me, and I'm thinking now it seems another marketing strategy on Binance that might be effective for those people who want to use a third-party trading bot.

Based on this article on Binance, there are top 10 Binance trading bots, I wonder now where this free trading bot comes from, from a third party or from Binance itself.

Can you update your thread if you've tried it already?
