921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Squid coin - how did it impact you? on: October 10, 2022, 10:42:31 PM
Why not write about Bitcoin instead of writing about squid coin?

I know from the start that this coin will become a shitcoin soon because it takes advantage of the popularity of the movie which seems like happen covid-19 there is also a coin that pops up.  It's nonsense to have a survey on this coin that surely those FOMOed investors have been a victim of this.

I didn't answer anything even though I dare to visit your link given because I didn't invest this coin from the start.  You must need to move on if you invested a lose your money on this project and learn from that mistake.
922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC price manipulation on: October 09, 2022, 11:59:00 PM
As per my knowledge, BTC price can manipulate to some extent by whales. But whales need to respect market movment and only can do corrctions to some extent.
what is your thoughts?
It's a simple explanation, there are too many things that happen in the market, not just manipulation, fundamentals have sometimes a reason.
It's normal that every market has a whale even though stocks, but I don't know if there's a manipulation in the crypto market, it seems you need a large fund for this, in order that you can manipulate the market price.

Whales are whales, they didn't need to respect the market.
Once the opportunity of making a profit is there, they will grab it, and they will laugh when they saw a weak hand selling their Bitcoin during the correction time.
923  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You only lose nothing if you hold BTC on: October 09, 2022, 11:17:13 PM
Many people still prefer altcoins which is a wrong mindset because they want a quick profit, especially in memecoins.
It seems they like to gamble their money in a short period of time, we know Bitcoin takes a long time before you'll see profit but at least it's sure that you'll have it.

Bitcoin has been known that potentially can make a profit upon storing the value as your long time investment if you have an amount that can afford to wait and lock in a long-term period of time, choose Bitcoin rather than put it into a centralized organization or bank.

If you hold 1 Bitcoin it will remain 1 Bitcoin whatever the market condition.
924  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Hacked?! What we can do better to protect our funds? on: October 09, 2022, 10:51:20 PM
What's your solution?
It's quite simple, stay away from the centralized exchange because they are prone to hacking.

But at least, according to CZ's tweet, the fund is safe and it might SAFU is real, not only marketing ads.

P2p exchanges are the best solution for this but we have a problem as a trader when it comes to liquidity.

You can plug a trezor into your phone and use it there - from trezor suite web - (I'm not sure how eth works with that though because I haven't used it on mobile - the same goes for other smart contract coins).
Ledger Nano X and Ledger Live could be good too.

925  Economy / Speculation / Re: what is the bottom of this bear market BTC on: October 09, 2022, 10:28:05 PM
Lets poll the lowest BTC price can expect this bear market
Though Bitcoin is unpredictable I think, that's unlikely to happen.

Bitcoin price candle this month was played at the range of $18.5k to $20k and it was never down beyond $15k and I think that will not happen.

Do you think it could be a bullish sign this month the hack happened on Binance recently?  It's $100M and it could be converted into Bitcoin.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next meme coin to buy in 2022 on: October 08, 2022, 11:59:29 PM
Making investment on memecoins is good, but this won't give hands all the time. Shiba gained good position and real time usage, and the same can't happen with every memecoin. For now I find shitcoin as one of the memecoin that can grow better against many other memecoins available in the market.
That's the problem, it might out of 100 meme coins in the market only 1 of them has potential, and now, how can you speculate if you're choosing a good meme coin that will be the same as the Shiba coin?  Even though considered good at the first launch but who knows if it will end up an exit scam at the end of the day, it's really hard to guess and choose.

That's why as long as I can, I stay away from meme coins and I'll never invest in them, it's too risky to invest in Bitcoin alone.
927  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can I know That How much earnings Can be generated Through Signature? on: October 08, 2022, 11:50:22 PM
Then I now have a question; does the signature we wear in the forum has any promotional or visibility effects outside this forum?
Yes possible, when people are curious about crypto (either about an exchange, mixers, or gambling) and research it on Google search and it could be this forum will pop up there.  The signatures that we wore are visible to them even though it's a "guest mode", they might visit it through the link given under our profile.

The answer to this question depends on where each of us lives and how much the average cost of living for each country with the average being paid for signature campaigns, but in short, it's mostly just a bonus rather than a full time job.
It also depends on the country and how much the value of dollars to fiat.
928  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How I Increased My Bitcoin and crypto Portfolio by 36% on: October 08, 2022, 11:40:47 PM
If you’re serious about earning consistent returns on your Bitcoin, you need to be very systematic with your crypto investment plan and trading strategy, otherwise you’re taking a flippant approach to crypto trading.
Consistent earning?  How?
Is that really work for the unpredictable market?

There are a lot of studies, making accurate signals through your own strategies but doesn't mean you will perfectly guess the market movement.  Well, you're very lucky if trading will really work for you but that's not for everyone.

Most people now prefer to hold than to trade, to store value not to grow their portfolio.  It's very easy to aim for profit and cut when the time will come.  If you want to risk your portfolio it's up to you but your putting it into risk.
929  Economy / Speculation / Re: Every signal is a speculation on: October 08, 2022, 11:31:05 PM
Analysis are just predictions.
And it’s not 100% accurate as it is predictions. So yup, no matter how strong signals you great from how big trader, there is some risk factors involved in it.
Yup every signal is just speculation, so we should always be careful with that.
Once the bear market gets over, definitely the price will jump to the sky, so accordingly invest.
Predictions, trading analysis and signal are all just a speculation and it’s not a guaranteed analysis so better not to expect that much, just hope that the market will go in favor of your analysis.
I tend to agree with this and as matter of fact, the market is unpredictable so all of these are 100% pure speculations.
That's why I always discourage newbies who seek trading signals, instead of looking for a good one they will have their own research.  Because those are also traders who speculate the market the advantage is they've possibly more knowledgeable than you.

There's no one beat if you're a long-term holder and aim for a perfect price to cut your profit.

932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: which btc address generated do yall use ? on: October 04, 2022, 11:56:48 PM
All open-source software wallets and hardware wallets are considered safe to generate Bitcoin addresses, as long as you've owned your private considering that's safe.  Most of them highly recommend a hardware wallet because it has security features that protect your Bitcoin or crypto in general.

The links below that I've shared will hopefully help you to find a better wallet to generate a Bitcoin addresses.
933  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price: Watchout for 30% decline in Bitcoin price, according to this indi on: October 04, 2022, 11:49:10 PM
We've seen a lot of people claiming themselves to a famous for predicting Bitcoin price in the market.
Which is the fact, they aren't.

Sorry for saying this but IMO, Kiyosaki seeking attention for his prediction for it might looking more followers to his social media account.

If the bear market will continue, that's the time for buying point of some whales which I think isn't a bad side of the market price, not unless, all whales will sell their holding which I think they didn't because they are smarter investors.
934  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can I know That How much earnings Can be generated Through Signature? on: October 04, 2022, 11:28:37 PM
Actually, there are two ways of earning through wearing a signature campaign, paying Bitcoin which can be found here, and a fancy token which is found it here.
You can visit the thread of any of the signature campaigns found on the list given above and calculate it on your own or check the spreadsheet where all costs of the company in the signature campaign were recorded it there.

By the way I know, mostly members will roast me cause I have seen that in bitcointalk that they roast newbies mostly.
No, not all of them, as long as you aren't trolling here you'll be fine, and look, you received rewards from them(merit).
935  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I keep my Bitcointalk acc safe if truly it can be hijacked on: October 04, 2022, 11:04:09 PM
You got some suggestions on how to keep safe your account on Bttalk, I would suggest that stake your bitcoin address, which you certainly have access to (private key of course). it may not save your account from being hacked, but it will definitely help you recover your account in case a hack does happen.
Here is a thread: Stake your Bitcoin address here
A strong proof of ownership is this stake Bitcoin address, just sign a message of the stake address and your hacked account will be back in a short period of time.  Always checking your IP logs as above said was also very helpful to monitor your account if the hacker won't change your password after hacking but in this very rare case, most of the time they will change your password.

It's our diligence to always keep safe our account, I've been here for how many years and I never change even once my password but I know my account is safe, sometimes being paranoid of our account security, the high chances that it will be lost or hacked.
936  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: crypto communities on Discord on: October 03, 2022, 11:56:54 PM
Hi, what are your favorite crypto communities on Discord ...
Sorry, I don't have any to recommend because I considered that platform one of those scammers and spammer's houses like Telegram.

Quote
. is there any way to get notifications to email address when discord server admins share crypto signals?
Check this, it might this is the answer that you're looking for.
https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408820335767-How-can-I-manage-my-email-notifications-settings-

At the moment I'm checking the different servers every 15 minutes to see if they post signals, but it's not very efficient
That's an additional workload, there might a bot that works for this or a notification might be enough.
937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DONT GIVE ME FISH on: October 03, 2022, 11:46:08 PM
For beginners, I heard isn't recommended to trade leverage trading, if they do there should be a limit.
Leveraging 1-2% of your total portfolio value might be advisable because they possibly lack knowledge in managing risk.  This way you always have an option to cover your losses, remember always the amount that you can afford to lose.

Gaining profit in trading isn't that easy, even though in copy trading which you copied on expert traders like on the Etoro exchange platform but the chances of losing are still there.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Trustwallet Safe? on: October 03, 2022, 11:10:06 PM
Trust Wallet is a good wallet for mobile devices. It has support for many altcoins and that's why it is popular. It is the main wallet I use for Binance Smart Chain tokens. If you are interested in staking and defi it is a good wallet and should be safe enough for everyday use. You can lock the wallet with your fingerprint or face if you need the extra security.
I never considered good wallet those mobile wallets, Trustwallet is a closed-source wallet and we didn't know what's doing in their operating system, not like the open-source wallets we can always check their libraries.  In closed-source wallets like Trustwallet for example, it could be there's malicious or it could be due to an outdated system there could be a bug that can be exploited by those scammers that are very crucial to use and should not be trusted.

There's nothing good wallet aside from hardware wallets or ope source operating system wallets.  Electrum for Bitcoin is enough and Metamask for altcoins.
939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Privilege to teach Bitcoin in church on: October 02, 2022, 11:58:25 PM
That's a good idea if your purpose is to educate them, we've seen many churches now accepting Bitcoin as a donation and it might be good if they even know basic technical knowledge about Bitcoin and how it'll work.  It's also awareness to them, you can give them as an example that there's a church now accepting Bitcoin as a financial donation or transaction and it might your church will do the same.

I didn't see any wrong if you'll discuss this in your church, Bitcoin is not a curse to be feared, yet, it's an advantageous technology that can be useful to anyone.
940  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: October 02, 2022, 11:48:12 PM
We've infinite numbers of strategies that can be used so it's better to have our own strategies to use, but even how many it is, they should be used at one time and I know you'll face how many sleepless nights of this and different struggles.

Having a personal strategy to me isn't just the key but the ability to stick to it, is. I have been trading synthetic indices for over 6months and I feel it is better to have a working personal strategy and keeping to it, even at the days and times of loss.
No, just learn about it and proceed to another strategy, there's no need to keep on it, if you've experienced losses that's not good to keep.
My suggestion is to learn one strategy at a time.
