101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish VS Bearish on: July 10, 2022, 09:51:36 PM
Bitcoin was built to retain its value
Fiat was built to be abused and inflate

Bitcoin isn't going to go down to the 1k levels. Most financial analysts have no clue on crypto. Usually they give a low figure because they don't want it to succeed...
102  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 10, 2022, 05:28:31 PM
Even as Russian troops were massing on Ukraine’s borders in January, Sanna Marin, Finland’s prime minister, insisted that it was “very unlikely” her country would join NATO during her time in office. Less than three months and one invasion later, Finland is hurtling towards membership.

Russia will not tolerate hostile US colonies at its borders. Ukraine is the example what will happen to every US vassal that is a threat to Russia. Finland was a very successful country when it was neutral. Now they will be just the next Ukraine... Russia has the right to defend itself and they will do it without any doubt. Russia is leading the world to new more democratic order. This is the end of the US hegemony.

Did you just use Russia and Democratic in one sentence?
And referring to a Ukrainian invasion as "defense" is insane...

New more democratic order.... you mean absolute dictatorship ....

Today bitcoin rose more than 6%, i hope to return to $30k soon in june and july can rise to $40k, of course we are tired of waiting for bitcoin prices that have not recovered, it's natural for many to panic and choose cut loss , but I will raise money to buy bitcoins before the price continues to rise.
Yes, bitcoin price is increasing gradually for people to start preparing how to make a good profits from their investment. Before the end of this month of July bitcoin price will move to $30 or $35k because the green light is preparing to remain stable through out of this month. It's never too late to buy Bitcoin because the price is still low for long term investors and short term investors to buy and wait for the price to go higher before they can sell to make a suitable profits.

It's really strange that when the bitcoin price pumps for a day or two, the hope of people rises too much that they start thinking of 30-40K  bitcoin price targets. Similarly, if bitcoin dumps a bit people start expecting 10K-12K.
In reality, bitcoin is moving in a range and I expect it to remain in this range for one or two months before breaking up or breaking down. Both these scenarios are possible.

The effect you describe is because this is an immature market (as Michael Saylor would say). Everyone one and their mothers are trading or having opinions. Most of these people don't have the emotional stability to do calm and clear analysis. And the "professionals" think they know crypto but are finding out they cannot apply their knowledge to this market Smiley
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 09, 2022, 08:32:15 PM
Can we reach $22k then?

It seems that sentiment is very positive, but in the recent months, that's how we start. Couple of increase in the first and second week and then goes down hard again at the start of the third and then the fourth week.

So this might be the trend again, and we might go back to $19k at the end of the month.

We can tbh.  Next resistance in the daily chart is at 28k and the bounce could very may well reach that imho.  But we'll see.  Crypto has been very sensitive to any kind of bad news lately.  You know...  The bear market of things.  Total opposite of the bull market when a little bit of good news would pump a random coin around 5x in just a week.  Cheesy  That's when the market is easy to trade.  The one we're having rn should mostly be avoided.  Then again, I could be wrong.  17.5k could be the bottom.  But as I always say, we'll see...  Nobody can really predict these things.
28k all at one move could be a bit of a difficulty. I am not saying that it won't happen, all I am saying is that it doesn't seem easy to do, it should take a while before it could do that. I am guessing that the best thing to do right now would be wait and see, and hope that it goes up at a reasonable level, instead of a very high one.

I understand why people expect 28k right away, but we should learn to be happy with 24k if we reach there as well. Doesn't mean that it's a bad decision, it just means that we are doing fine and if we end up somehow at 28k then we would be happy about that even more. That's how I am trying to approach it at least.

Bitcoin will indeed go up but it's going to annoy all the greedy bastards and get them to rage quit first Cool
105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 09, 2022, 05:51:24 PM
Doesn't BTC ultimately rest on removing the need to "trust" ?

Bitcoin was based on trust and it was a far-reaching relationship, but now bitcoin and trust remain only between two counterparties. and in the big picture, it turns out to be a simple payment and here it already plays the role of transparency.

....I would again reiterate that Bitcoin was based on " removal of the need to "trust" "

“don't trust, verify.”

Bitcoin is distributed trust.

Elon just figured out Twitter and his own companies are going to be worth less than half in the recession. He bought Twitter at a premium which is going to hurt.
107  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 09, 2022, 09:18:58 AM
I will go for 1 Bitcoin. If given such options, as bitcoin will definitely cross 100k in year or two.

You get gifted one of these two portfolios that you have to hold until 2030...

Option 1
1 #bitcoin
10,000 #cardano
100,000 #dogecoin

Option 2
20 #ethereum
10,000 $matic
1,000 #chainlink

Which do you choose?

Option 1 is the best. Such HODL!
108  Other / Archival / Re: What do you expect from bitcoin in the second half of 2022? on: July 09, 2022, 07:02:32 AM
Only Putin dying and Russia ending its war with the Ukraine will stop inflation which is very unlikely.
From the first day humanity started using fiat the inflation has been caused by printing more money than you should and US has been printing trillions and trillions of USD without it being backed by anything but a false faith. The inflation you see today is because of the fact that 60% of the world economy is slowly dumping US dollar as reserve currency and all those trillions are coming back to America causing high inflation.

This is not the first time US dollar gets dumped hard either. Last time was when Europe found out USD is not backed by gold as promised so they dumped it and over about 6 months the value of US dollar was halved.

But it is always easier to blame it on a conflict on the other side of the world or on a senility of the old man in oval office than to solve the actual problem. Cheesy

Exactly this. The problem is a global one caused by central banks going brrrrrr.

Just like they are talking about a mild recession when they know full well everyone is going to get REKT. "Mild" is the keyword for the rich to dump their stonks and buy back in the depth of the recession.

Fuel prices high in the US when the US doesn't even use Russian gas, yet still call it a Putin price hike.

Games are being played...
109  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 09, 2022, 06:52:53 AM
I think majority is looking forward for Bitcoin's another dip, and a lot of people are actually waiting for the to happen, especially when it falls to $15k or below. However a lot of people thinks $19k would be the bottom judging on how the Btc price were moving lately.
So, there might only be a slight chance for that to happen at least at this current month. Btc recovers to $22k and now it's trading at $21k.

Every bear cycle leaves a lot of bag holders behind, that will be waiting on the pad watching the rocket leave the atmosphere...
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we embrace a cashless policy?? on: July 08, 2022, 08:47:59 PM
A cashless policy is a good thing to stop money laundering and crime but it's a double edged sword.

The problem is that the info can also be used to track your every purchase incl. time and location.
With AI/ML you can probably profile a lot of things which should be left alone.
111  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Reduce the Global Wealth and Income Inequalities in 2022? on: July 08, 2022, 08:19:04 PM
No because helping others is not part of the Bitcoin protocol.
No because most humans don't want to give away their money willingly.

Bitcoin redistributes wealth to a different demography and takes the monopoly away from the governments.
112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 08, 2022, 08:06:51 PM
EDIT: Fuck Brexit! On every second item i order from the UK, shipment gets halted at customs office because of "missing import license". Fuck you, Boris!

Have you considered that your problems are *caused* by an oversized and overbearing government and asking for a bigger and less accountable one to overcome them is looking at things somewhat askew?

If you're importing from the UK you are doing something wrong...
113  Other / Archival / Re: What do you expect from bitcoin in the second half of 2022? on: July 08, 2022, 07:51:46 AM
I think everyone waiting for lower bitcoin prices are going to end up bag holders.
My 2cts
114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 07, 2022, 09:12:43 PM
What are the chances that JWST would detect at least high oxygen at any of it's planetary targets or even evidence of Dyson spheres, perhaps (much less likely)?
If nothing indicating life's presence would be detected, the chances would grow even stronger that there are no tech civilizations in the vicinity (at least).
IMHO, JWST would compensate for the paucity of discoveries (after Higgs) on LHC and give us something really interesting.
It should be fun to follow.

I still think that bitcoin is about to bounce hard, but not going to risk buying options, just hodling.

I'm not convinced Dyson spheres are really possible, but if one existed, wouldn't it be impossible to see it from a distance ?

The classic Dyson sphere with 100% efficiency would only be detectable by observing objects orbiting the star. Basically like a black hole. Inefficient sphere would radiate heat (infrared) and be detectable by JWST.

But a Dyson sphere can also be built as a ring or rings around a star. Let's say a strip with solar panels going around the star. This could be detectable because the ring could cause fluctuations in the light emitted by the star.

Building a Dyson sphere would be a multigenerational amazing feat of engineering. The circumference of our sun is 4.4M km alone. Going in a bullet train at 400km/h would take you 1.25 years to circle it. And this ring or sphere will have to be way bigger than that...  so from an engineering perspective I wouldn't believe they exist in the forms I mentioned either...

I'm no expert btw... also my maths suck at times...  Smiley

A little theory of mine

Every model breaks, when too many people anticipate on the models results Smiley
117  Economy / Speculation / Re: This interesting Bitcoin chart is not dissapointing. on: July 07, 2022, 06:24:28 AM
This model only models stock to flow. PlanB had already commented that this model does not account for macro-economic events like COVID, laws, regulation, war, recession, etc. Nor does it take into account whale games.

The model could still be correct but have a cycle REKT by macro economics

No doubt about the resolution, but what struck me the most (in a positive way) is the extremely low Signal-To-Noise ratio!
Maybe it's gone through higher order background- and noise-removal algorithms, compared to the left shot, which looks very much magnified and sports a much lower optical resolution.
The eight-star pattern on the lights is beautiful (given by physcial construction of the scope).
Space tech porn.

Space tech porn, indeed, but I think you meant extremely high Signal-to-Noise Ratio (or I'm still drunk, as Jay would say...).

And the image wasn't enhanced it was the difference between 85cm and a 650cm mirror size.
And being at a better Lagrange point for observation Smiley
119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 06, 2022, 02:13:23 PM
Yeah, Crypto used to be short for Cryptography, or Cryptographic, or codes and ciphers.

Now it is short for 'ponzi scam'

Someone got burnt lol
120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin's price "basically a fire sale"? on: July 06, 2022, 01:02:34 PM
I've already run several math and science models and this is the most likely future:

Atleast provide the math dude.  Grin

Kidding aside, That Bitcoin Rainbow is obviously not realistic at all and just form through the imaginative mind of Bitcoin maximalist and shillers on social media which is in deep stress right now. The insane prediction above 100K is not realistic and healthy at all for Bitcoin because it means that everyone is holding at that time before Bitcoin moves at that price direction, Just like a bubble that waiting to be pop. I will not believe it unless billionaires start to invest on it just like what Elon Musk did or Blackrock.

Well ETFs are opening up, Europe just got one, Canada has one, USA is sueing the SEC to get one...
These tools are needed for Wallstreet money to enter the space.

Bitcoin isn't a bubble, the 19999 shitcoins probably are but Bitcoin is most likely here to stay.
