Does not matter if you are a U.S. Citizen, you always have to pay income tax no matter where you are in the world.

You can't change U.S. citizenship?

As I posted in reply to you several days ago (albeit with not as much specificity, as I thought all needed was a reminder), you can renounce your US citizenship, but you get taxed for the privilege of doing so. Heavily.

They take half as I understand it.

Land of the free indeed.

963  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peter Schiff speculation, bitcoin will never hit $50k on: August 29, 2019, 11:52:36 AM
Almost everyone wants to be an expert in bitcoin's price prediction, it seems very funny how silly proposals they throw. Some says bitcoin will reach 100K, 1 million, others say it will go down to 100$ and etc, very silly proposals. Hate when I see people predict things without arguments, did they see dreams and then state them?
Cmon man, never listen to those popular people, never, just listen to yourself, be logical, read crypto related news and you'll succeed.

That's why it's going to become $78,532  Cool
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what will happen if the ethereum price decline continues? on: August 29, 2019, 11:20:25 AM
I just bought the dip. If Bitcoin returns to at least $1k I will have 500% profit.
I believe etherium will climb steeply when BTC goes parabolic again. Ethereum profits will most likely be better percentage wise.

Only time will tell...  Cool

FUCK.

Now you can panic.

93xx

First you hope 9-8-k-ish coins to buy cheap..... Now you panic, I really cannot follow your way of thinking Huh

I am panicking either way.  Grin When it goes up, I am panicking for missing the cheap coins. When it goes down, well I am panicking because it is going DOWN!

Just keep enjoying the ride  Cool

This shows he is not a trader. Traders don't act on emotions.
It's easy to say you will buy at $8k when it is $10k. But it feels crappy if it dips to $8k. The fear it might go lower.... but hey it's easy money not free money....

Anyhow I'm buying on the way down.... When it goes up again I'll be laughing the whole way up  Cool
967  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Now the Perfect Time to Buy Bitcoin? on: August 29, 2019, 07:45:15 AM
With the steady rise and fall of bitcoin, this should be the right time to accumulate more bitcoin cos the bull run would soon take place before this year ends

Yup, just bought some in the dip ....  Cool
That's 6% if it bounces back to $10000

969  Economy / Speculation / Re: WhatsApp bought for US$ 19 Billion on: August 28, 2019, 04:05:30 PM
Great. WhatsApp deleted from my phone. Thanks Facebook.

I did the same as soon as I saw the article this morning on the news.

I hate facebook with a passion.

If they force you to log on with a facebook account I'm gone...
If they link my shit together I'm gone...

Facebook is worse than cancer. With cancer you still have a fighting chance...
Cancer is too much painful, please don't compare with very simple things. Facebook might be worse with the tracking of the entire user data, upon which it doesn't suits to be worse as cancer.

Point taken.

However Facebook can infest itself unwillingly into your life.
And once you have a Facebook login you cannot get rid of it.
If you have anything associated with Facebook your deleted account will reactivate.
If you die your relatives cannot remove the accounts. I still got requests to connect to dead people. People I know who died from cancer btw.
Etc.

For me Facebook is a form of internet cancer.
970  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee Says Bitcoin Waking Up Again on: August 28, 2019, 01:31:19 PM
Not that I believe anything John says but I like his regular appearance in the news and social media. He doesnt fear any one but focuses on his course on crypto and he doesnt care whichever way his predictions go, though in most case his predictions are highly exaggerated.

He either is right or he gets bangkok prostitutes to blow him on national TV... Win-win  Roll Eyes....

As Reuters reported on Aug. 28, the gold industry is currently facing a forgery crisis — with fake kilogram bars found in the vaults of major banks such as JPMorgan Chase.

The customers want the high-potency stuff and not the "Weed-light" or "Childrens-Weed" (Kinderwiet).

Sounds like your customers are JayJuanGee, Trollgoossens, and Gembitz.

Very OT and Dutch written.... but this is about the Holland goverment, doing an experiment of growing there own weed and selling it to the shops .... experiment with 10 Holland cities Roll Eyes

Yeah those experiments are starting however they have not been received well since they limit THC values.
The customers want the high-potency stuff and not the "Weed-light" or "Childrens-Weed" (Kinderwiet). This leaves a market for the illegal stuff.

However it does prevent the "legal" coffee shops having to buy their product "illegally" which is a good thing. The police tolerate illegal purchase by coffee shops at the moment.
Legal growing makes everything legal, accountable and taxable. Hopefully it will lower the criminal activities surrounding growing weed.

So it is to be seen if it will succeed.... do hope so...  Smiley
976  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Could Surpass $15,000 This Week: Max Keiser on: August 28, 2019, 08:31:01 AM
@Wilhelm. Long week for Max Keisler, however, it is a much longer year for Tom Lee waiting for the new all time high of $25k hehee.

Tax are due as soon as Ira takes ownership.
Craig was the biggest and longest Hodler (1 million over 10 years)
Ira will dump the biggest load 2 seconds after receiving the BTC (he never had any interrest in bitcoin, only $$$)

Do you think there is anyone dumb in this thread enough to believe this shit?

This clickbait site is really getting on my nerves. I can't get them to stop spamming my inbox with this crap And the FUD is getting thick.

Craig Wright on court ruling: Kleiman could dump $2 billion worth of Bitcoin

Left out a 0 there. Maths are hard

Yikes, yep 200,000 btc dumped on the market maybe is more substantive. If you knew my day job you all would be laughing even more.
