When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. Gun control means using both hands. Good guys with guns do stop bad guys with guns. Maybe not all the time, but enough times to count for something. When seconds count, the police are minutes away. And observing... More innocent people/kids get shot than bad guys if you look up the stats. If the bad guys couldn't get the guns the police would have more than enough time. And with gun control even more innocent people/kids will get shot and even less bad guys will be shot, because bad guys will allways get their hands on guns, while good guys will obey the law. Not if you look at the rest of the world. The rest of the world seems to know how to solve this uniquely American problem...

Gun laws just got reviewed in the supreme court. Didn't go the way you'd like. Sorry, not sorry. It is sad that it has to be explained. But the gun laws in the USA are there so that if they try in the US what is being tried in other countries across the world it will be much harder to do. The news will most likely not report it, but the shooter in Chicago was an antifa type masquerading as a "Trumper". Why is this happening, you might ask? We are in a war. A new sort of war. Name five ANTIFA members? You can't because it's a BS story fed to you by republicans... With the amount of trump supporters going to jail it's getting harder to pass the blame. Skye Cloud Sodja Jacob Camello Tara Walker Chris Guillott Sage Myers Brianna Ford Kyla Ford Tayler Calderon Google them. (You may do better if you add 'antifa' to the search... but you will find them all, I think) I could go on all day. You are wrong. Antifa mugshots from Portland: Those were 25 rioters so what makes them ANTIFA? Also most were disorderly conduct so it's still laughable compared to January 6th. Also Skye Cloud Sodja was arrested at Portland #antifa riot for felony assault. His charges were dropped. He's a mental health worker & previously was employed by @multc Jacob Camello also quickly released Etc. Etc.

Ok whatever.... you mentioned "popular will of the people"/"representative democracy. " If that was truly the case, that last clown elected in 2016 would not have happened. .....
I would *welcome* a widespread review of gun laws in the US. The overwhelming majority of them would be thrown out as ineffectual if nothing else.
The USA is a gun toting culture. Always has been, always will be. So get used to mass shootings. (I'd venture to guess most Americans have at this point) They are not going away. Debating gun laws in the USA is like debating religion. Just like the thoughts and prayers the victims get, it's totally fruitless and useless. Sad but true. I understand the temptation to equate something you disagree with with something else you disagree with, but let me explain how I see it. When they come to take my property. I have a choice afforded me by my constitution. I can hand it over, or I can die defending it behind my AR15. I am practiced, have a lot of ammo and though I will likely die defending my property, I will have had that honorable choice. The current president pointed out that my AR15 is no match against the government's F16s. And that illustrates CLEARLY how close to the brink we are today. An armed and ready populace is much harder to subdue than one that is not armed. Over and over and over we can see clearly in history how it goes when one side holds the guns and the other does not. If they come for me. Some of them will die as well. Why aren't civilians allowed to bear nuclear warheads? That infringes your rights doesn't it?

Debating gun laws in the USA is like debating religion. Just like the thoughts and prayers the victims get, it's totally fruitless and useless. Sad but true. Amen I don't know any other country that exposes their kids to "active-shooter drills" and defends the weapons used to assault their kids. But as you say it's like debating religion which isn't that strange with a Supreme Court that is pushing theocracy. Just a note for charity's sake. Today's mass shooting was just outside of Chicago in an area that has some of the most restrictive "common sense gun laws" in the country. Mass shootings in schools are occurring in "gun free zones." Law's are no deterrent to mad lawless psychopaths hell bent on causing mass casualties. What DOES stop a madman with a gun, every single time, is a good guy with a gun... which is why these things always happen in places where none of the good guys can legally have guns. The untold story is the millions of rapes, assaults, and murders that are prevented by legally wielded handguns used in self protection. Why do you hate women so much as to want to take away the only tool they have to put them on equal standing to defend themselves from predatory men? And as to Roe v Wade, I am actually rather liberal about my stance on abortion legislation I feel that there is no greater tragedy than an unwanted child. But as anyone with a reasonable understanding of our Constitutional Democratic Republic system should openly agree that Roe v Wade was clearly bad law based on unconstitutional judicial fiat and should have been repealed long ago. Our laws are to be set by elected legislators held responsible by the votes of their constituents, NOT a lifetime appointed group of Judges acting as robed tyrants. That is not a wise path regardless of your political wishes. Abortion policy is not touched in the text of the Constitution and if our legislators want to put it there, there is a proscribed method for doing so. Or they could take the easier path of negotiating a common-sense bipartisan law to lay out basics on a federal level, or as it is now, leaving it completely up to the individual states to set that policy where-by the citizens of that state have the most ballot box power to punish/reward policy they disagree/agree with. 1. The good guy with a gun myth has been debunked many times. Most situations are solved by unarmed individuals. Looking at the last shooting incidents the people trained to deal with it didn't even do their job. Parents of children broke the police line to get their kids out of harms way instead of waiting for the police to finally do something... 2. Gun control wil only work if you do it at a national level. Take a look at >90% or other countries because apparently everyone is doing a better job than the USA.

https://twitter.com/StockmoneyL/status/1543832155003969538/photo/1I saw this chart on Twitter and looks good, it really shows how the cycle goes since 2012. If we will follow this chart, we are expecting that we will reach around $70,000 - $100,000 by the time of the year 2024 which will gonna have another new all-time high. And guess what, Bitcoin block halving is on that year too. So for me, I am expecting a market recovery in the year 2023, before the Bitcoin block halving. Any thoughts? Yes I need that $250k ATH Plus the accumulation line should have three points to get confirmed which we are soon going to find out...

Despite the fact that MASS shooting is on the rise in USA, there is very little USA government is doing to stop these MASS shootings in future. Joe Biden too not very much in favour of gun law that let anyone buy a gun hut still there is no legislation from federal government.
So what you're really asking is why authoritarian restrictions aren't being passed against the popular will of the people *and* the supreme law of the land in a representative democracy. Common sense gun laws aren't authoritarian restrictions. Common sense gun laws should be viewed the same as a drivers license or medical license... I didn't realize having your kids shot at school was "the popular will of the people" I'm just happy to live in a sane country.

how do you assume bitcoin will rise more than 100% in a worldwide crisis?
Safe haven for money to get through the storm. We don't have a good feeling for the next few months. So it's just impossible to happen THIS month You read "whale season" somewhere but I suppose that news was about the fish I have very good hopes for the next few months. IMO the bottom is in. A lot of FUD yet you see the whales increase their stacks...

If you have an analysis to back it up, possible. Well, anything is possible in this volatile market. It could potentially be low or that high.
But going with the reality, the month is still long to end so that's why every possibility can be there. To have it all, I don't think that much for the highest price to come back if ever bitcoin bounces back.
I want to see it step by step and be stable first to $20k and then $30k and then expect those high prices like the one you've mentioned.
As with previous bear market recoveries the recovery will be slow to the point that it goes unnoticed. Eventually it will start picking up speed but that will be 100days or more from now...

A good strategy should not depend on knowing where the bottom is. Finding the bottom with any certainty is impossible.
Luckily Bitcoin will always rise so the bottom is actually only an optimization if you are hodling for >4 years...

The Dutch will go hungry if the farmers keep the protests up. Blocking many food distribution outlets from what I've read. Maybe McDonald's is unaffected. 75% of our food is imported so we will only harm our export. But yes we are expanding the Maasvlakte with poluting petrochemical companies however cow farts and farmers are apparently the problem.

These are the first signs that we might be approaching the bottom of the current cycle. Proshares released their "Bitcoin Short ETF", https://www.proshares.com/fund-highlights/short-bitcoin-etf-biti They are betting against the Honey Badger, and when legacy institutions, and investors start playing stupid games with Bitcoin, they surely will win stupid prizes. Government allows future ETFs and short ETFs but no long ETFs. It's obvious they want Bitcoin to fail. They are probably starting to truly understand Bitcoin's underlying nature. It's breaking barriers, and it can weaken political strongholds. Plus its price volatility is a feature for adoption because it tempts people's greed, and their need to speculate and take risks. Some of them will become HODLers. Also they don't want companies to use Bitcoin as a safe haven in the oncoming recession. The recession could truly nuke the economy if everyone flees to Bitcoin.

I am pretty sure we will go sideways for most of July. Even the stock market is looking pretty boring right now. Very little volatility.
Most people are enjoying the summer and not in front of a computer trading. I think September is when the real fun will start with stocks and crypto.
The accumulation phase is meant to bore people out of the market. I remember these boring periods from the other cycles.
