101  Economy / Economics / Re: What is bitcoin backed by? on: April 23, 2018, 02:36:51 PM
Bitcoin is mainly backed by masterful technology called the 'blockchain' which is completely foolproof by code. Being the brainchild of an extraordinary visionary in Satoshi Nakamoto, it resembles the flagship of current technology. This is mighty enough to sustain Bitcoin usage for many decades to come without any sort of lapses in security.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: prices about bitcoin diamond (BCD) on: April 23, 2018, 01:57:00 PM
I do not understand the exchange rate of the BCD coin I see every exchange very much the difference from one exchange to another.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-diamond/#markets
can i know what happened with BCD?

Refrain from using CoinMarketCap as an accurate measure for prices as it has known to manipulate statistics from a very long time now.
Regarding Bitcoin Diamond, seems like the coin underwent a lot of hiccups as a possible result of whales doing their thing. Wait for the markets to stabilise for a while and eventually the graphs will give a clear picture of what actually happened.
103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: private trades on: April 23, 2018, 01:21:22 PM
What you're looking for is a decentralised exchange. There are already many in operation but none of them are renowned enough to blindly be trusted and this again raises a lot of questions. I have only used Nexchange in the past and all of my trades seemed to be smooth without any problems.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Announces Fiat-to-Crypto Trading Pairs in a Move That Could Shift Relian on: April 23, 2018, 01:11:07 PM
If that happens it will be long waited moment for altcoiners.
I don't believe it will have any negative impact on btc price, as there is already a eth fiat pair.

What do you think?

This is a long dream come true for many traders and it took long enough for an exchange to come up with an idea like this one. This is going to impact the prices negatively by a very small margin as we will surely see day traders preferring to cash out their daily earnings on a very regular basis.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is More Decentralized Than Bitcoin on: April 23, 2018, 12:58:15 PM
Ethereum would be best investment for long term what do you say guys.

Quite a statement that I have to agree with as it has outgrown Bitcoin over period of the last couple of years. Ethereum never ceases to disappoint with its immense growth potential and the future looks highly promising.
Regarding the whole 'more decentralised' thingy, Ethereum is a entire platform open to DApps and much more of utilisation base while Bitcoin has been mostly around payments. So yeah, ETH > BTC in terms of decentralisation.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news from India on: April 23, 2018, 12:47:50 PM
-snip-

For now, the please from Kali Digital seemed convincing enough for the Delhi high court to issue a notice to the RBI about the circular which effectively banned crypto-fiat pairs. Let us hope that the RBI will retract the circular and things get back to normal although it seems unlikely as exchange bank accounts have been frozen/terminated.
Also, there is a change.org plea which has over 45k signees that is emphasizing on the stupidity of the move and wanting the RBI to take back its circular.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We as a community must boycott Coinmarketcap.com on: April 23, 2018, 12:36:10 PM
Indeed, very shady behaviour on the part of CoinMarketCap as they show no sign of stopping even after being called out multiple times. No wonder there is a substantial difference while comparing its stats to websites like CryptowWatch and CoinLoop. This should be brought to attention of the public and a PSA would be the perfect way to go around it.
108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I handle crypto regret on: April 23, 2018, 12:24:28 PM
-snip-

Be very decisive with your calls and make sure you don't look at the markets you missed out on during this period and focus on what is at hand. After all, it is not that hard to make the right calls in a surging/dipping market.
Also, remember to be ready to enjoy/suffer the consequences of your own action and do not take decision making lightly or hastily.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Price heads to $9,000 While Total Crypto Market Climbs to Nearly $400B on: April 23, 2018, 12:11:04 PM
-snip-

A HODLer's dream-come-true in progress, seems like the bloodbath is finally coming to an end with swift recoveries across most markets. What was once nearing to a $1 Trillion market cap suddenly capsized and the recovery process seems to be good thus far. Just another stepping stone on the way towards the big number and I'm sure this bullish market is going up take us up the eventually!
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The art of price predictions on: April 23, 2018, 11:59:35 AM
When it comes to price forecasts, we see a lot of different opinions: who says bitcoin will go down to $ 900, who says it will go up to $ 100,000. In this branch, not only do I want to know by what signals and technical analysis you determine how much and when btc and other altcoins will cost?

There are a lot of factors which determines altcoin prices with the first and foremost being Bitcoin price. It is fair enough to say that altcoin markets follow Bitcoin pairs and this is pretty much evident from data. Next comes developmental things like progress through the roadmap, new additions and implementations which usually push prices up.
Then again, it all depends on if the markets being controlled by whales who are manipulating prices and predicting accurate prices becomes a hard task.
111  Economy / Speculation / Re: Сontinued growth or dramatic fall on: April 23, 2018, 11:48:16 AM
Considering we were witnessing a massive slump from the beginning of new year and the market only began to recover a couple of weeks ago, a bullish run is definitely on the cards with Bitcoin already within arms reach of 9k from a 6k bottom. I expect this to continue for the next few months and prices to be soaring up to 15k.
112  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptocurrency Exchange Kraken will not comply with New York inquiry on: April 23, 2018, 11:25:21 AM
Kraken cryptocurrency exchange will not comply with inquiry and information requested by the New York attorney general

More bad news for another one of those centralised exchanges that is deemed to be trusted by many. All we can do is wait and watch how things play out and it sure will escalate very quickly if Kraken shows negligence towards the issue.
The switch over to decentralised exchanges seems to be around the corner and exchanges running into trouble is fueling the cause.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin x banks on: April 23, 2018, 11:14:12 AM
So how far from that  you guys think we are now?

As far as YouTube and cable televisions are concerned, both of them do the same thing i.e display content based on viewership.
With cryptocurrencies and banks it is a totally different concept altogether. While most cryptos work on a decentralised consensus, banks are always centralised with a lot less control over doings.

Yet, I can still relate to your words and say that while YouTube is accepted across the globe over cable televisions, the same can't be said for cryptos.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The influence of negative news on ALT coin on: April 23, 2018, 11:03:20 AM
Usually, negative news brings the market to a slumber, hindering expected growth. Just consider a coin like DeepOnion which has a lot going both for and against it. In this situation, the price tends to swing a lot both ways, with the negatives dragging the prices further below.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam in the name of BITCOIN on: April 23, 2018, 10:52:35 AM
-snip-

Well it is the responsibility of an investor to do adequate research on the topic before investing funds in any sort of schemes. There have been lots of incidents of this kind in the past and things won't change unless the people investing here take enough precautions not to fall for these sort of ponzis.
A saying goes "Never take up the deal if it is too good to be true." and being offered over 10% a month by means of mining and trading sounds way too good to be true.
116  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinsecure Not Secure? on: April 16, 2018, 05:23:07 PM
He isn't the founder, but CSO of Coinsecure who joined the platform on September 2017.

Quote
Dr. Amitabh Saxena has kept a watchful eye on the progress of Coinsecure’s construction of complex and fast algorithms and a reliable platform backbone.

Doc comes with an extremely strong understanding of the crypto space and has a lot of ideas and implementations that he will be bringing to Coinsecure.

Still don't understand how they gave him access to all the funds without any thought rather than considering a multi-sig wallet to keep the funds on. Either ways, I don't see the money coming back any time soon and the police are most likely not going to support investigation because of the current scenario regarding cryptos in the country.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the world’s 6th largest currency on: April 16, 2018, 04:48:30 PM
Considering the fact that most of the currencies on the chart existed centuries ago and Bitcoin came into existence less than a decade ago, the latters future looks highly promising with so many developmental aspects queued up. Looks like Indian rupee could be overtook within the year and not long before it will be in reach of the other contenders.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can blockchain change financial industry? on: April 16, 2018, 03:49:03 PM
Author claims, that blockchain will be able to change financial industry. What do you think? Do you agree?

Blockchain technology has already revolutionised the financial industry as we are already witnessing many banks putting all of their resources on the blockchain. Traditional ledger maintenance is a thing of the past as everything is instant and real-time here. Moving on, more financial institutions are implementing this in a move to automate most of its associated processes.
119  Economy / Marketplace / Re: New type of bitcoin market?!! on: April 16, 2018, 03:16:03 PM
The title of the site itself says 'CARDING FOR YOU' meaning everything being sold through it are obtained by illegal means (carded or social engineered) and I would straight up refrain from using these shady websites as we have no clue who we're dealing with. Also, paying up front to anybody's 'fake trust' on a cheap site like this one would be outright foolishness.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zcash Completes 'Powers of Tau' Privacy Ceremony on: April 16, 2018, 02:15:27 PM
Fake token creation and trading has made us witness a lot of inexperienced traders fall for and it was time that something was done to make sure it wouldn't be a thing anymore. Good job on the part of the ZCash devs to think out of the box and implement something very unique to tackle scammers who have been in the business for long enough, waiting to prey on the inexperience of traders.
