101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Osmosis or Tezos? on: May 22, 2023, 08:41:38 AM
I don't think it's a good comparison. Osmosis and Tezos?
Osmosis is a platform that is built on the Cosmos network while Tezos is a network.
The Cosmos network and Tezos network is the one that must be compared.

So, about the Osmosis versus Tezos, I will choose Tezos for this (in terms of market cap). If network versus network, I will go to Cosmos network over Tezos network.

Hello,
Thank you so much for your reply.
Osmosis is built on the Cosmos network and when Cosmos network is better than Tezos network, then Osmosis must be better. Am I wrong?
Cosmos is pretty strong tech wise but I prefer NEAR and Q Blockchain personally.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi hacks [history] on: May 22, 2023, 08:40:57 AM
Q Blockchain is the only chain with a legal layer that protects users. The constitution is recognized by international law and is enforced by root nodes who are also lawyers.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it advisable to invest on Solana? on: May 22, 2023, 08:40:03 AM
Hello buddies, I am considering buying Solana coins and holding for a very long time. I want to know if this is a good idea before forging ahead to buy it.

Thanks for your responses.
On one hand it looks like it has bottomed, on the other hand it will be hard for the price to go back up to 200 dollars because there are a lot of bag holders now looking to sell. It's easier to get returns on new projects that launch on exchanges during a bull market. Look into Lamina1, Layer0, Q Blockchain and Shardeum.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: May 22, 2023, 08:38:53 AM
Watching the current market and the demise of ALL crypto ... is this the end for certain coins?

How do people think the likes of ETH, ADA, XRP, TRON etc will go from here?
Projects with real world utility and business usecases like XLM, IOTA, Q Blockchain will survive. I don't know about ETC, TRON, or ADA honestly, could go either way.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbie invest on: May 22, 2023, 08:38:04 AM
I have 2 BNB, what is a good project to invest in? Something with utility, no shit coins
0xMR, working mixer and private bridge. It's traded on pancakeswap.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: May 22, 2023, 08:37:41 AM
Sometimes I find myself being added to Telegram groups where they are doing bounty campaigns for new coins but at the end of the day, people will start complaining that the project is dead. In most cases I exited from the groups immediately I find myself there because I feel they are prone to defrauding people.
This makes me to wonder if bounties really pay.
Bounties on zealy io pay sometimes. You rack up xp and projects have task sprints there and reward users with high scores. I got some Q Blockchain tokens from doing it, maybe some zksync when they pay out.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose altcoins you buy? on: May 22, 2023, 08:32:57 AM
I've been around for a while so my tactic has varied a lot. I have choosen my coins and tokens by the fact they have:

Real world use case: When i came in i was told buy coins with actual real world use case. I tried to find those but so far i haven't found any real world adoption for anything other than permissionless transfer of wealth that's been done with bitcoin from the start. Maybe some smart contracts can be useful but they have not been adopted in any significant scale. There's potential in many of them, but most of them are now going to be adopted ever. And even their devs know this, yet they can't really say it as they want to sell their snake oil. I a still looking for even one that might be adopted.

Good tokenomics: This i am still using as a reason to buy. Issuance rate needs to be sustainable, and distribution needs to be wide and fair. Marketcap needs to be low enough if we are not talking about the coins that already have the necessary net effect to attract developers and keep on growing more.

Team: I find this most important, without good team that knows their stuff you are destined to fail. In ideal case i choose professionals that are transparent and know what they are doing. They have coders in lead, their own legal team, and regular amas. Needless to say that i want everyone doxxed. So far every coin or token with anon devs that i have bought have vanished.

Right size marketcap: Most money i have made in this game is by finding suitable microcaps, like under $100k. If conditions are right, they can something like to 500k and above really fast, and i can take like 70% of my investment out potentially very fast. Rest of them stay for moonshot. But as a disclaimer i would like to say that while microcaps have have technically most room to grow, they also have highest changes of being rug pulls or slow rug pulls.

Trusting a tip from a friend: For some weird reason my newb friends have found some gems. They don't even necessary understand what marketcap means or how to do research. They might have bought because they liked the name. I see no reason buying them but they are making a killng with them. These days i throw some money on what ever they say. That might not be smart but i might as well.

Aping in to just tokens that has just been released: By doing this i don't have even the time to do decent research. I try to look everything as fast as i can and hope for the best. With this tactic i have found my best micro caps. I have also been bought into some instant rug pulls.
I go by utility. It has to solve a real world usecase, like XRP with cross border transfers or XLM with Moneygram, or Q Blockchain with voting.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next bull market comes in June on: May 22, 2023, 08:32:07 AM
IDK if June is the next Bull market. We are almost in June now and there are no positive events that could pump the market. In fact, the US is about to default on its debt, regulations around the world are getting tougher, and China is about to have another real estate collapse. The only upside is if you are investing in regulatory compliant cryptos like XRP (soon to be compliant), HBAR, and Q Blockchain.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: May 22, 2023, 08:29:40 AM
All in a bid to ensure I have a concrete investment plan this year, I researched some of the altcoins that has the potential to yield the best return over a duration of 5years. BTC and Eth top my list as one of the more secure coins, but other altcoins have proven to be reliable overtime, if you agree. Despite market volatility and the possibility of a crash, which is your most valid choice right now.

*If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency that will make me a billionaire, Which one do you think would be a better choice, besides BTC and Eth of which I have grown accustomed to?

- $BTC *
- $ETH *
- $ADA
- $VET
- $SOL
- $MATIC
- $SHIB
- $NEAR
- $DOGE
- $DOT
- $LINK

These are some of the best I have seen so far.

*What advice would you give me?

NEAR or LINK or both out of that list. If it were my money though I would put it in XRP and Q Blockchain.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: May 22, 2023, 08:28:57 AM
Some say airdrops retroactive arent profitable. Maybe for some its a waste of time but for others thats plenty of money already and could been helpful to their financial status in life. Im giving of my airdrops receive so far and hoping to gain with other protocols too.  Can you share yours?

*Arbitrum 1500 tokens (free)
*Sui Network 1500 tokens ($45 for joining allowlist at $0.03 per tokens)

I'll update the thread for the next drops that I would receive from doing testnet and retroactive tasks.

WTF are you talking about SUI 45 usd allow list. There is no such thing. If you want legit bounties go to zealy io. They have hundreds of projects there that reward you for performing simple tasks like liking tweets and joining a discord community. I've gotten tokens form Q Blockchain and there should be some coming from zkSync and Lamina1.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter is considered as investors with a big patience. on: May 22, 2023, 08:09:43 AM
I was joining bounty from year 2017 till present i have experience joining different signature and social media campaign with good  earnings and there are also campaigns that is not profitable  and sometimes there are campaign that doesn't pay, because the project does not reach the hard cap when they launch ICO, most of the projects pays token that is not listed on exchange and we need to wait a months or maybe a year before we can sell our tokens and get the profit and sometimes we also buy tokens from the good projects that we promote and hold, can we considered the patience of the bounty hunter same as the investors patience?
I have had an on/off relationship with bounties. They seem to pay out in a bull run but founders cannot afford to pay out in a bear market. I have been getting Q Blockchain and Lamina1 rewards on zealy io so I guess that works. I think most people are participating in Twitter giveaways these days.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth could perform better due to deflationary on: May 22, 2023, 07:54:28 AM
The deflationay was making ethereum become even more stable. The ability for anyone to stake or unstake their ethereum has been also making the price is going very high. It's remain even more stable at this moment. I think that the price of ethereum is still depending with bitcoin.
Bitcoin is still showing stable performance this time. Eth could outperform btc due to the deflationary but this also depends on how big the hype.

Q Blockchain redistributes gas fees to Q holders instead of burning them. This is a more sustainable model for the longevity of the chain because it reduces friction for users. Several other L2s and chains have 0 fees, which will soon make Ethereum uncompetitive.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Unlocking the Power of Digital Identity: Reshaping Financial Empowerment on: May 22, 2023, 07:51:36 AM
Hey guys! Just came across an interesting article about the power of digital identity and its impact on financial self-determination. The article explores the evolution of digital identity, its significance in the modern world, and its potential in the crypto sphere. I believe this is a highly relevant topic for our community, especially considering the potential economic influence and prospects.

If you're interested in this area, I recommend reading the article:

https://cointelegraph.com/news/are-we-underestimating-the-power-of-digital-identity

I would love to hear your thoughts on this topic!
Only a few blockchains will be regulatory compliant, only the ones with built in digital ID like the Internet Computer, Concordium, Polygon, Q Blockchain, sismo.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you decide on a buy price target? on: May 22, 2023, 07:50:43 AM
Personally I don't trade anymore, not until the bull market at least. For the time being I am participating in Twitter giveaways, bounties, and airdrops. Zealy io has a lot of bounties and Q Blockchain has giveaways on Twitter. On Zealy you can find bounties for promising projects like Shardeum and Lamina1.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coins in the next century on: May 22, 2023, 07:49:22 AM
There may be no crypto future after regulations hit. It's already happening if you take a look around. Only compliant cryptos with integrated digital ID like Polygon and Q Blockchain will survive the coming purge.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have betted 100$ on this token [BSC CHAIN] and I explain why on: May 22, 2023, 07:48:33 AM
I don't trade on BNB chain anymore, too many scams. I hodl my 0xMR there and farm Cake on Pancakeswap.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: May 10, 2023, 01:37:48 AM
When we are going to make investments, of course, we are already aware of the risks we will receive, especially by entering a new project. Of course, the risk that we will accept is very large as a project scam. However, when we are making investments in a new project, the chance that we get a lot of profits is also very large, especially with every purchase of assets at the beginning of a new project. We can get a discount, which is usually linked very far when the project is listed in the market because of the very good product. So don't be afraid to start a new project.
There is literally no risk if you just do bounties and airdrops. Zealy io has bounties for major projects set to launch in 2023 like Mantle, Shardeum, zkSYNC, Layer0, Lamina1, and Q Blockchain.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still hunt for airdrops? on: May 10, 2023, 01:36:36 AM
You can get Q Blockchain tokens before they are listed on an exchange on some Twitter pages this month and on Zealy io. Zealy io also have zkSync bounties.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: May 10, 2023, 01:35:36 AM
Are you for or against XRP?
Even though there have been a lot of rumors about Ripple, I am intrigued by the coin. Ripple is one of the coins that has held up well so far. Ripple takes 4th place if we don't include stable coins in the list. This position has not been replaced so far, only BNB has replaced Ripple's position. Yes, we know BNB is one of the most powerful coins so far after they developed a smart contract system.
BNB cannot hold a candle to XRP, mostly because Binance is facing lawsuits from various countries that could bring the exchange and CZ down. BNB is tied to the success of Binance exchange. It's better to use and invest in (not financial advice, just my own opinion) chains that are more decentralized than BNB, like Shardeum and Q Blockchain.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu turns into privacy coin like Monero or ZCash? on: May 10, 2023, 01:34:06 AM
According to the latest news, the next 2 updates turns Shiba Inu into privacy coin:

  • The non-custodial privacy dApp Bermuda announced support for Shiba Inu (SHIB) allowing its users to conduct anonymous transactions.
  • The Shiba Inu ecosystem continues to expand as the community eagerly awaits the launch of the Layer-2 Shibarium protocol.

Is it on the whole possible to turn a regular coin into privacy one? And does that mean that its rate will now start growing?

I don't think it will be competitive with 0xMonero and their off-chain solution 0xTIP. There is always the risk with on-chain privacy solutions that they are backdoored or that quantum computing will expose transactions in the future. That's not the case with off chain solutions.
