1081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can Cardano achieve $ 5 ? on: September 20, 2021, 07:20:49 AM
The Cardano price is forecasted to reach $2.89801 by the beginning of October 2021. The expected maximum price is $3.62251, minimum price $2.46331. The Cardano price prediction for the end of the month is $2.89801, after the Alonzo Fork. But what will make it achieve $ 5 and when will it happen? Will Cardano position itself to replace Ethereum and tackle the issue of huge gas fees?  Huh
Cardano isn't going to make it. If you compare it to something like NEAR protocol, it doesn't hold a flame to it. Ref Finance has 2 second transaction finality and 8k TPS. The AMM also has yield farming and is constantly adding new features. AMMs on Cardano can only do 1 TPS and farming isn't live. The estimated TPS for normal transactions on Cardano is 45 TPS, that's barely faster than Ethereum. I see no advantages to using Cardano even over Ethereum.
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ways to trade? on: September 20, 2021, 07:17:53 AM
Hi I am new to crypto and wonder what are some of the best technical indicators to use for trading?
Most traders lose money trading, especially new traders. I would suggest yield farming instead, you can make over 100% returns even in a down market. I prefer spookyswap on Fantom and Ref Finance on NEAR protocol, both have farming.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you see the true bear market coming? on: September 20, 2021, 07:16:12 AM
Like the title says, when do you see the true bear market that we saw that happened in 2018 with every alt crashing insane amount?
Institutions are in now, they are ready to pump it to normies. We will see mainstream adoption this time.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's wrong with uniswap? on: September 20, 2021, 07:14:59 AM
recently uniswap reported about the fee on 27/8/2021 with a fantastic fee price, because many altcoins use uniswap swaps, What do you think?

You can't display photos yet, until the time comes, I think at that price it will be difficult for the gas / fee
I moved all my funds from Ethereum to Polygon, Celo, NEAR, Fantom, and BSC. I no longer use Ethereum. Right now I'm making the highest returns farming on Ref Finance on NEAR protocol and Tarot on Fantom.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would like to invest more than $20k. Which altcoin project? on: September 20, 2021, 07:13:34 AM
I am currently thinking about investing a larger amount > $20k which I have recently received through sales of some shitcoins that I don't think have much of a future ahead of them. I have already done some research myself. But for the final assessment I would like to hear your opinion. Which of these following projects do you see as a great investment and why?

  • Cardano (ADA)
  • Polkadot (DOT)
  • Avalanche(AVAX)
  • Litecoin (LTC)
  • Cosmos (ATOM)
  • IOTA (MIOTA)

I have already severely limited the number of possible coins. The original list was around 30 coins, but after the research, the above six coins remained. Therefore please do not name others.
I would suggest using DeFi and yield farming. Buy Fantom or NEAR protocol and farm on spookyswap or Ref Finance. You can get even higher rewards from farming than staking. You don't have to worry about trading to make money because the funds are always coming in, no matter what. You can make money even in a down market.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where DeFi is headed on: September 20, 2021, 07:11:20 AM
DeFi and gaming will combine and traditional DeFi like AMMs are expanding to farming and lending. Ref Finance for example recently launched it's own farms and some AMMs like Yape are doing some interesting things like single sided liquidity and placing a portion of the LP deposit in yearn finance for extra APY.
1087  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crypto Casino with a built in MIXER and token bridges!!! on: September 20, 2021, 07:03:19 AM
Nice concept first time to see a gambling site with a build mixer features, I try to access the site to have a tour of the site but could not and one will have to register before gaining access to the features of the site maybe you should consider changing that in the future. Granting access to your platform without registration help user gain information on site before registering.
That's like the usual mixer that we see today and there's no need for registration. If they'll do that, they'll be use by guests just to mix in their casino and not to play.
I think that's why they're requiring that so that their feature won't be the only thing that will be the very attraction of their casino but also have them play.
Yes, registering and playing at least one game is required before mixing.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana was down for several hours on: September 17, 2021, 08:46:05 AM
Incredible how SOL can still have a high price when the network can down like this. So basically they were trolled with DOS attack Grin
I think this event serves as a wake up call, just like EOS in the past, to prove that SOL network isn't robust and valuable. I'm pretty surprised with the rebound shortly after the dip, is the market so irrational? Or is this just a dead cat bounce? Do SOL bag holders here are still optimistic?

It is only similar to Ethereum after the DAO failure or Ava’s own downtime because of its own blockchain failure hehehe. We are also in a bull market. If this was a bear market, it would be dumped -50%. Also, I speculate Sam Bankman-Fried supported much of the market during the downtime to save the Defi liquidity pools from being liquidated.

@RussianEnglishTranslation. It is not tested because no one uses Near. Solana was doing a peak of 400,000 transactions per second before the failure.
Solana hit 400k tps because it was spammed until it broke and they had to reboot the blockchain. Nobody ever had to reboot NEAR protocol because it has preventative measures for spam. In fact, one of the head devs warned the head dev of Solana in public that Solana is susceptible to spam attacks just like this, but nothing was done to prevent it.
1089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Booming gaming platforms, is it just a moment? on: September 17, 2021, 08:43:00 AM
There is a Hash Rush open beta on September 22nd. You need to register on their website to participate. It's a playtoearn game on NEAR protocol, and unlike most supposed playtoearn games, you don't need to buy and NFT or tokens to play.

1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are some of the new projects we should keep eyes on it? on: September 17, 2021, 08:40:30 AM
Today I was reading fascinating story of Bitcoin and Ethereum. That was really interesting read. And I thought, what if there are other ongoing/emerging projects? Do you know any of them? Those that are not on the mainstream media yet.
DeFi on NEAR protocol is growing rapidly. Ref Finance for example already has an over 70 million TVL. I also like $MAGIC token on Ref Finance and $Tarot and $0xMR on Fantom.
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes NFT Platforms good for you? on: September 17, 2021, 08:38:45 AM
We all know NFT's became a big thing in the cryptoverse. More and more celebrities, companies, and casual people join the wave.

That's why I asked myself, what do YOU think are the MOST important things for a NFT platform?

Let me know your thoughts, looking forward to discussing this in the comments with you.
Speed, Features, and Low Fees. I create, list and trade my NFTs on Mintbase and Paras on NEAR protocol. NEAR protocol also has DeFi like Ref Finance and Cheddar Finance. With Paras gated NFTs, you can connect NFTs with DeFi. Also, the Paras token, IDO on Skyward Finance, will be used to backstop a crypto collateralized USD stablecoin on OIN Finance on NEAR.
1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CoinMarketCap a scam? on: September 16, 2021, 08:48:16 AM
Coinmarketcap is a scam and the numbers are fudged. When the price of something like XRP goes up they remove Korean exchanges or change the marketcap/supply in circulation to lower the price. These are facts. CMC is shady and I do not trust it. Additionally, most of the trading volume it tracks is from centralized exchanges with wash trading bots, not decentralized exchanges like Coingecko... not that coingecko is perfect by any means, just saying.
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Defi's Lending is hitting 🚀 on: September 16, 2021, 08:45:40 AM

Easy, my favorite DeFi platform is Ref Finance on NEAR protocol. It has over 70 million usd in TVL, farming with 4x rewards, and lending is coming soon.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you sell ethereum and btc to buy Solana/SOL? on: September 16, 2021, 08:44:34 AM
Solana is a new promising altcoin that surpassed dogecoin to be ranked up to seventh place on CMC. And based on its price last August 15 2021 it is only 44$ and now its current price is 157$ based on that super Sonic price movement from 44$ to 157$ for just one months, I think Solana is good for short term investment, what would be your insights about this guys. Good for long term or short term investment?
NEAR is doing everything that Solana projects promised to do in regards to DeFi and didn't deliver. I'm farming on Ref Finance right now and making 50 usd in rewards per day. Lending and NEAR backed stablecoins are coming this month. Cheddar finance launches in a week and another AMM with farming launches in a month. NEAR is valued at under 10usd and hasn't pumped like Solana yet, but it will when people discover it. But what do I care anyway, I'm making bank farming on Ref Finance, so I guess keep buying your Solana and Cardano and stay poor.
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana was down for several hours on: September 16, 2021, 08:40:56 AM
Solana was down for 17 hours and it was recently priced above 200 usd. Meanwhile NEAR protocol, which has better tech and no downtime is valued at under 10 usd. Solana was way overhyped for what it can do in reality and a lot of people fell for scam projects on that platform. I put my money into DeFi on NEAR using Ref Finance, and as the story goes, the turtle wins the race.
1097  Other / Archival / Re: [GUIDE] NFT Use Cases on: September 16, 2021, 08:38:51 AM
Gated NFTs. Platforms like Paras on NEAR allow gated NFTs, which means you have to have the NFT to access exclusive content like videos, messages, websites etc. I know the Wizards' Guild @ DeFiWizards will be using gated NFTs for their Ref Finance DeFi spells.
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] Some low to med cap technically interesting projects add your own. on: September 16, 2021, 08:36:59 AM
I swear I saw this same thread before with Syscoin mentioned. Anyway, I sold my Syscoin a year ago for some RVN and 0xMR. Syscoin has interesting tech but the UI just isn't here yet.
1099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: RadioX exchange (fork of Bisq) on: September 16, 2021, 08:33:50 AM
If you want people to use it you need a proper install method
1100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The path to mass adoption of crypto on: September 15, 2021, 06:31:03 AM
The biggest challenge for any crypto project is mass adoption and for various reasons many people still prefer the traditional method over blockchain technology. So, which crypto project do you know that has a real plan to expand globally and increase the mass adoption of your project and crypto in general?
DeFi will make crypto expand globally. Interest rates are below 0 in several countries now. Why would I put my money in a bank when I can put it in a DeFi platform like Spookyswap, Pancakeswap, or Ref Finance and make over 200% APY? Once people figure this out it's over for traditional banking. All you need is a crypto card and DeFi becomes your bank.
