401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty programs or airdrops more profitable to participate in? on: July 18, 2022, 02:36:42 PM
Of course, the current condition of Bounties and Airdrops is not good because the market trend is red, this is what makes us have to be selective to choose bounties because most bounties do not pay and make many top managers leave bounties.

Even if the market is good there are still fake projects and there are bounties that will not give you anything, gone are the days when every project you participate in will perform well in the market, I used to participate in so many bounties where the project looks good and promising but end up neglected and scam, bounties, and airdrop now are like a box of chocolates you never know what you're going to get.
That's certainly true but you need to research the project before you jump in and start working. Metamask for example promised an airdrop and that's a huge legitimate project. Candle Chain is an L1 EVM compatible chain and its also paying out weekly. Be careful though as a lot of people on this board have been burned doing bounties only for the tokens to be worthless or losing time because the founder of a project refuses to pay them. It's a mixed bag but there are some gems out there, like the 1inch drop.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty programs or airdrops more profitable to participate in? on: July 15, 2022, 02:35:20 PM
in general bounty programs and airdrops can both give away crypto for free, and I think this is a very effective way to get prizes that can make you rich, but since the crypto market is in a prolonged bear market method, very much Bounty participants stop for a moment, because bounties and airdrops have no potential and certainty at all, and prefer to buy coins to invest.
I see what you are saying but I think you are being a bit myopic. You should be accumulating as much crypto as possible during the bear market, whether you are buying it or participating in airdrops or bounties like the CNDL one. In a bull market you can easily see your investments 10x. What seems like a little right now, a 500 usd bounty reward for example, could easily turn into 5k usd in a bull market. So no, I don't think its a waste of time if you find the right projects. Just take a minute to research before you sign up for anything.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Candle Chain Bounty program on: July 15, 2022, 02:32:21 PM
The beta testers bounty program is still ongoing and paying out weekly. The project is building their community and awareness of the project before the Coinbase listing.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: The new bounty stopped coming? on: July 15, 2022, 02:30:26 PM
Yes, you are right there are many projects not listed on coinmarketcap and coinecko. As you said, some just organize airdrops. By the way, testnets have been talked about a lot lately. There have been projects that have distributed a good amount of awards. I think we need to research.
Can you share a little information about the testnets you are referring to now ? because I've seen very few good new projects except for a few. Research is always needed in every new thing, but at this point there are no really good new projects to follow so their products don't progress significantly and can't even be traded.
I don't know which he was referring too and I am curious too. I know that sometimes testnets do pay you participate and give you rewards. In those cases, the line between an airdrop and a bounty is kind of hard to distinguish. For example, people who used Aztec and zkSync early could be considered beta testers, but I think those L2s are giving away airdrops. Candle Chain, which is an L1, is giving away bounties to people who test their AMM DEX DApp. So they don't call it an airdrop like the other chains but it's basically the same thing. I think its smart to incentivize beta testers because it helps iron out the kinks, and rewards your community for helping support the project. Everybody wins.

As to less projects launching in the bear market, yeah, that's probably true, but the ones that do launch aren't in it for the money because if they were just out to make a quick buck, they would have launched in a bull market. The bear market is for builders and if you invest during the bear market, you can probably find some projects that will do really well when the bull cycle resumes.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty programs or airdrops more profitable to participate in? on: July 13, 2022, 12:08:35 PM
The bounty program is more profitable now than airdrop but they looks thesame...

Participation in the bounty can be profitable only if the payment is made with a coin that is already traded on the exchange. The most preferred coin for payment is bitcoin and ethereum, but this form of payment can only be found in the signature company, which requires a high rank.
Agreed that airdrops and bounties are worthless if the token has no trading pair on an exchange. There are a lot of projects that just want to pay out in worthless tokens for sure. I didn't have that issue with CNDL because it is traded on around 6 exchanges. Many of the airdrops I received where a long time ago on STEX exchange. They gave you airdrops in your wallet that you could trade if you wanted to. Exchange airdrops are a good idea I think.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: E-Stablecoin on: July 13, 2022, 12:07:02 PM

How does this work though? The user mines the stablecoin using electricity then transfers it to someone else who can spend the stablecoin to pay for electricity?

here you go:

The price of each E-Stablecoin token is hard pegged to the price of one KWh of electricity. This is maintained by ensuring that one E-Stablecoin token can always be exchanged (cashed in) for one KWh of electricity (plus fees). Likewise, the opposite conversion is equally valid; one KWh of electricity can always be used to mint one new E-Stablecoin token (plus fees). Furthermore, this process is fully decentralized so that no authority can intervene in the creation or cashing in of E-Stablecoin tokens.

Quote

Does that mean that the electricity utility provider needs to be in on the scheme?

see the part in bold?

Quote
Which chain will this be on? I think CNDL or Fantom would be a good place to deploy this as both are lighting fast and CNDL even has 0 gas fees.
those are toys.

For the E-Stablecoin network, smart contracts are used to control the creation, destruction, and distribution of E-Stablecoin tokens. Furthermore, smart contracts manage the decentralized data storage cloud, D, associated with the E-Stablecoin network.

You can't just mint something and say it is backed by something. I could mint a stablecoin now and say it is backed by all of the worlds diamonds. How is it actually backed and how do you redeem it to pay your electric bill?
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin, Dogecoin Gain After Musk's Tweets, But Will There Be Another Bull Run? on: July 12, 2022, 02:56:12 PM
already familiar to Dogecoin, especially because of Elon Musk,
we all know that Elon Musk has great power because he is an influencer be it stocks,
crypto and even property, when he talks about Doge, Bitcoin and even stocks, the price goes up,
this is the plus from elon musk, we can't avoid it, because it's a gift he has
Investors already know that Elon Musk is a manipulator. He was using his fame to influence people and hype coins like Doge for his own benefit. People are now aware of what he did and I don't think his tweets would be as powerful as before. Investors are now aware and have learned that listening to influencers won't make them gain profit all the time.
This. Invest in projects with fundamentals and real world utility only (like ICP, 0xMR, and XRP), not in projects shilled by influencers.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hello Guys what you think about bnb.can bnb hit 1000$ soon or not.i think bnb hi on: July 12, 2022, 02:54:08 PM
If we will base it on BNB's potential it will be yes, it can possibly reach 1000$ but if you'll ask when I guess no one can answer that. It will surely take a long time before BNB reaches 1K but I'm sure that it wll hit a good value when the market situation gets back to normal. The potential of BNB is too strong and buying it will be a wise decision for now.
Agreed for BNB it's almost certain that eventually it gonna hit its former ATH again, since considering how great quality this coin is.
There are quite literally so many projects like the NFT gaming and NFT arts that's in BSC, that should be enough to consider that BNB is just as great as ETH and if bullrun eventually comes, that's the moment BNB gonna be reaching its former ATH again.
BNB can hit 1000 usd but not until Binance settles with the SEC for releasing a security token. BNB can be legally seen as an investment in the Binance exchange, since it is a core component of that exchange and crypto card. I intend to buy BNB at around 50 bucks but until then, I am loading my bags with ICP and MATIC. Both of these are Davos approved illuminati coins that are destined to be in the top 10.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: July 12, 2022, 02:49:01 PM
Seems like the author of this post was pretty right about BNB.
It really became the most popular exchange out there.
Yes! He has believed on BNB and now everyone considers it on their portfolios to have BNB despite we're in a bear market.

I would like to know if you have any links to support this claim why the US government is prosecuting Binance. As I can see, Binance is doing very well in the US market, and they have their own website dedicated to the American market as well.
I think that he's talking about this: SEC Investigates Binance’s BNB Coin
This is one, you can see it if you search google news. I don't feel safe investing in BNB anymore and I will only buy it when it dips to like 50 bucks maybe. Right now I'm buying ICP and MATIC for the most part and participating in bounties.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022 is the time to buy or sell? on: July 12, 2022, 02:47:30 PM
Personally, I buy every dip, but if you don't have the money, there is an Airdrop section on this board as well as a lot of bounties. I'm personally participating in the CNDLchaindotcom bounty program right now and I'm looking for more if you all can recommend any. It seems like I'm getting better results from bounties over airdrops. Anyone having luck with NFT airdrops?
So far, I rarely hunt for Airdrops and Bounties and any NFT similar to Airdrops, because the income I get through other jobs that I am currently in is still better than the income earned by many participants in Airdrops and Bounties. So I decided to stop hunting for Airdrops and Bounties except for campaigns that paid BTC and invested in some of the top coins like BTC, ETH and BNB.
I felt the same way too. I mean, I was trying to get the Metamask airdrop by making trades in their wallet DEX because that should be a big one, but most bounties haven't paid off for me. That was until I tried the CNDL bounty. It has no KYC and pays out weekly. I make like 25 bucks a week and the tasks are simple- test the AMM, join the Telegram kind of stuff. I'm not sure how long it will last but it's a life saver for me now since the market collapsed. I'm open to any other suggestions though if you know of any good giveaways, airdrops etc. Now is the time to accumulate as much crypto as possible.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy some low cap coins on: July 12, 2022, 02:44:39 PM
I know this is an older thread but just saw matic on theor along with the other coins and just wanted to throw out there that matic might be the best of all of them.  They are doing things comparable to eth but only more efficient.  Might be a good price point right now to jump in if you haven't already.
Agreed, MATIC is the place to be right now. I'm also buying ICP hand over fist. Both of these projects are making moves and will be in the top 10.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PoS vs PoW later this year on: July 12, 2022, 02:42:38 PM
Many are waiting for it and Now the price of Ethereum is $1670 what will happen if Ethereum if all stages are completed in the future?

It is difficult to say what will happen to Ethereum in the future when the transition from POW to POS is completed. However, it can be assumed that those who want to earn on Ethereum will buy it in order to participate in supporting the network and earn on commissions. If at that time the crypto market continues to decline, then the transition from POW to POS will probably not give a special result for the growth of the price of Ethereum, but if the crypto market passes its next bottom and goes up, then this may lead to another flight to the moon and reaching the price of Ethereum new ATH. In any case, this seems to me a more logical development of events, but I can be wrong and everything can be completely different.
I don't think that anyone is going to even use Ethereum anymore because the merge will not solve the slow transaction speed issue. People are just speculating that it will be deflationary but they don't realize that if the chain isn't being used, then there is no value. This is why I sold my ETH for FTM and CNDL. Both of these projects are technically superior and have a brighter future long term.
Like bitcoin, a lot of projects claim to be better and will topple bitcoin. Same with ETH, look at the projects that came out later and how many projects claim to be ETH killers and do you see any of them succeed.  I still haven't found anyone who can do that.

Crypto community is very excited about ETH upgrade which has lasted for more than 4 years, I don't know if ETH price will increase or will reach new ATH once upgrade is done?. But switching to POS is a great thing I also expect from ETH, it is eco-friendly and will result in significantly lower ETH gas fees.
You don't see any projects that can supersede Ethereum? You must have been sleeping over the last couple of years. When comparing TVL, chains like FTM, BNB, and MATIC took billions of dollars from the Ethereum ecosystem because Ethereum was literally unuseable due to gas fees. ETH 2.0 won't change that. When we see another bull market, projects like Fantom and CNDL will have higher returns and gain market share. Remember AOL and Prodigy? Look at what the internet has become now. Nobody talks about AOL and nobody will be talking about Ethereum in a couple years because ETH 2.0 sharding is only data sharding, not transaction sharding, so the chain will stay at 15 TPS. You can't run a world computer at 15 TPS.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Sandbox being acquired by Facebook (Meta)? on: July 12, 2022, 02:37:06 PM
I don't think Facebook will buy Sandbox. They are building their own metaverse. That said, I think there is a place for decentralized metaverses, and that's why I am heavily invested in DRC, CNDL, and ATRI metaverse projects.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SOLANA PRICE ANALYSIS: IS SOLANA'S $40 TARGET REALISTIC OR MYTHICAL? on: July 12, 2022, 02:28:23 PM
Solana had good potential as compared to many altcoin. The base for Solana ,it was used as the medium of transaction of altcoin like the Ethereum. If you had huge amount for longer period, you just keep the funds in Solana. With the period of 1 year ,the Solana will reach the first target of transaction coin is 500$.After that,it will reach the targeted price of 1000$.It takes huge time for this process, you can’t achieve this in a short period of time.
Based off of the recent history of the Solana chain being down around 12 times, I think ICP has a better shot at reaching 500 usd than SOL. Time will tell though, right?
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Increasingly Sophisticated Malware Infection Attempts on: July 12, 2022, 02:26:50 PM
More and more people are writing on social networks about the fact that there are a lot of malware and viruses on MacBook M1. How can I detect and remove them? I may have such software installed.
I haven't heard of any crypto malware or viruses on the Macbook M1 models. They use different code (not x64), and a different OS (unix based) so they should not be able to get 99% of viruses by default. If you know of any I should look out for, do tell. I actually switched to a macbook to use Candle Chain and Polygon DApps on metamask and have had 0 hacks. I also moved my cold storage to a tangem wallet, which is safer IMO than a ledger.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 3 Arrows Capital is dumping Ethereum? on: July 12, 2022, 02:22:16 PM
After researching other projects like ICP and Flare Network, I just can't invest in Ethereum anymore. Even with ETH 2.0 merge it will still be drastically inferior to these other chains. Ethereum is like putting leather seats in a Ford Mustang. Yeah, it has nice seats but it will never compare to a Mercedes in luxury and quality. Just sell your Mustang and upgrade to a Mercedes instead of wasting time and money on it.

If ICP is so good, then why hasn't it been able to surpass ethereum yet if it is so good? The last time I examined ICP, it had its highest ATH somewhere near 500 dollars, and now it is trading at 6 dollars. It is not the first time that a coin has been claimed to be superior to ETH; look at other coins that are also considered to be ETH's competitors, but no one has succeeded in bringing ETH to its knees during the past seven years. The only problem of ETH is the gas fee but it will be fixed soon when the ETH upgrade is successful.
I just explained to you in the quoted message that the price of a crypto does not represent its utility. I should add that ICP has 0 gas fees for users, while ETH has had gas fees in the 100's of dollars in the past. ETH merge does not solve TPS or gas fees, and neither does ETH 2.0 sharding. The sharding will be for data only (for L2 scaling) not transactions on the L1. In fact, ICP is integrating ETH and BTC directly and both are in testnet now. This integration will scale both chains and add the security of biometrics - no more stolen/hacked funds.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading question on: July 12, 2022, 02:18:31 PM
Actually crypto trading is far better then any other trading or staking. But in crypto trading, you need to wait for longer period for the good profit from it.You can get double or triple of profit from normal trading, but in crypto you can earn 10 times of 20 times with a certain period. When you find the correct project, you can even earn 50-100 percentage of invested money.
There's really a far difference in trading and staking. In trading, you should be active with your trades and you need to keep an eye with all of the cryptos that you're trading and your profit depends on the market and how you are, it's an active profit.
Whilst in staking, you don't need much effort on it. For example, in staking, with mycointainer, they've got several assets that has a fixed APY and the same goes for other platforms like Binance and Uniswap for which you don't need to be active at all times.
You're free to choose any or both of them.
Is this a centralized staking platform like Celsius? Because those are very high risk. It's much safer, and you will receive a higher APY, if you stake cryptos like NEAR or ICP in the official web contract. You can earn 13 and 20% respectively for example.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum’s failure to close above $1.3K on: July 12, 2022, 02:16:34 PM
The other scenario is bulls want the bears to win and pull price down below 1000 again -- dip and surge to 1300 is instant 30% gain, and very easy to happen with these levels.
Surges can happen for Ethereum, well, there's still the connection and correlation for bitcoin and ethereum. Whether they've got the best update and merging.
If, bitcoin don't move that much, Ethereum can be limited on its move and that's why there's still the tightness of these two and it has to move along with one another.
I am really pessimistic about the future of Ethereum and I think it's over priced for what it is compared to Polygon and CNDL especially. This cherry on top is that people locked up millions of dollars in ETH that may never be unlocked. Consider what happens if the merge fails or post merge the ETH is not unlocked for some reason. Also, ETH 2.0 sharding, when that comes in 2025, only includes sharded data, not true transaction sharding like seen on NEAR or ZIL.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your recent altcoin investment and why? on: July 12, 2022, 02:08:16 PM
The safest choice is indeed the top Altcoins, the chances of losing are very small.
Unless it's a LUNA project, it's the worst top-ranked Coin I've ever seen.
Ethereum, BNB, Bitcoin are quite safe to buy and invest.
Luna was also previously considered a top altcoin. And how many other potential candidates for collapse that we don't even know about.
I used to think that this board was full of noobs who didn't understand crypto but boy was I wrong. Recently I have seen a lot of high IQ posts like this one. I think the bear market has pushed out people who don't really understand crypto and who were just in it for a quick buck and left the rest of us, who understand the industry here to plot our moves for the next bull run. It's true historically that the top 10 on CMC changes every cycle and this next one will be no different. I see SOL, BNB and ADA falling out of the top 10 and ICP, HBAR, and IOTA entering it.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens next with the market? on: July 12, 2022, 02:02:22 PM
...To be honest I still haven't collected enough bitcoin and some of my favorite coins so I hope the bear market will last and not end soon I see this as an opportunity for us more is a disappointment. I will be very disappointed if bull season comes and I don't have any bitcoins in my pocket.

The bullish season will not start suddenly, it will be preceded by the accumulation stage. And in any case, even with growth, there will be corrections on which you can buy the coin you are interested in. It is possible that it will be more correct to make a purchase this way than to constantly average your position.
Now is a great time to accumulate AAA rated cryptos like ICP, XRP, and 0xMR. The reasoning behind that is that the market has bottomed and we are flatlining until we get a positive catalyst, which will likely be crypto regulation making it easier to buy into and sell crypto from your bank and credit card accounts legally.
