It’s really hard to be an early investor of any project regardless of how good they are. People have barely invested in BTC when it was cheap. So does the ETH and a lot of other cryptocurrency.
Do you think there are few projects existed now which will be 10x-100x in the next few years. Maybe in 2025/26? I'm planning to research on such few projects and invest little sum on them. Let me know if you think any of the prpject will grow such bigger in next 3/4 years.
My sure bets are XRP (the new financial system), ICP (the new internet), and 0xMR (every portfolio should have 20% in privacy coins/tokens). |

I'm not clicking your link but to the question, Web3 is not a scam, it just means websites with smart contract functionality, which could be something as simple as a retail website that allows you to pay with crypto to a full on chain decentralized facebook on the internet computer "ICP". |

I bought my first 500 XRP yesterday and plan to DCA while these prices are low. I am aiming to get to 5000 and plant to hold till 2024 at least.
I don’t know too much about XRP to be honest but it seems to be getting a lot of news lately and I just watched a video of some guy saying it can reach $200 by 2030.
This sounds way over the top to me , that would make it over a 500x from current price so just wondering if this is realistic? Be interesting to hear arguments for and against this price prediction.

It is best that we keep our own coins in our hard wallets. But there is no wrong when people are staking even on decentralized platforms like Binance for example. There are risks but if people knew that then it is fine. If it is extra money then a thousand dollars earning $95 for a year is very good enough. We're talking about returns in contrast with banks very low yearly interests on our savings.
Instead of bashing people that staked their coins, why not share to us better ways to earn more?
I don't trust exchanges with my money. I only stake on DeFi platforms like Alchemix or in wallet using POS cryptos like ICP and Celo. |

A lot of people still believe that crypto runs on the 4 year BTC cycle. I don't think it does anymore. Have you seen how the stock market and DXY has controlled the price of BTC recently? It's uncanny. Your best bet is to take this time to invest while the market is red and be prepared to sell when the market pumps again. Don't fall for the easy money trap. What you want to be doing is building up your income streams. This could be a side job, trading, or POS crypto staking rewards from something like CNDL and ICP. Don't margin trade or buy meme coins unless you want to lose your money fast. |

I do not think so. we all know that nowadays All financial markets are suffering due to global problems. It might take some more time for things to settle down. I believe the cryptocurrency market will be the first to rise and develop when the situation improves. If we look at the Bitcoin price which is getting lower in early September, it looks like we are going to experience a pretty deep decline this month. So we really won't see the market going up in September, so we have to be more patient in holding the coins we have. It is quite tiring to face a bear market which is almost nearing the end of the year but the market has not yet recovered, this is the risk of investing in crypto, sometimes bear markets last longer than we expected. But as long as we don't sell our potential coins at low prices, everything will be fine. The most important thing is that we understand that the bear market will definitely end, but we really can't determine the time accurately. There really isn't much we can do in a situation like now other than be patient waiting for the bear market to end and the bull market to come. If we still have extra money, we can take advantage of the opportunity to buy potential coins right now. It's always good to have a steady income to take advantage of buying opportunities in the market. I plan on buying more ICP and XRP if they go lower. |

I'm buying ETH under 100 usd. I think the merge is a great opportunity for whales to sell the news and dump on retail investors who have their ETH locked up in staking for the next year or more. I sold my ETH for ICP and may buy back in later, or not. I fell out of love with Ethereum after researching the internet computer basically. ETH basically can't scale without L2, so its future is bleak.

If you want to see any altcoins that will do x10 for you as at the current situation of the market, it has to be of shitcoins on dex exchanges, there are lots of shitcoins doing x10 and above I've seen shitcoins doing x150, but the problem with such dex is that rugs are much more than good project, it's more or less like a gamble, when you win, you win big and vice versa
What you say is true, usually in bear market situations that can provide profits of up to 10x are usually shitcoins or new coins. But as we all know the risk is very high, meaning that if we choose the wrong projects, we will lose our money. That's why my advice is not to be too obsessed with big profits when investing in crypto, it just forces us to make the wrong decisions. Especially in a bear market we should be wiser in spending our money. My advice is to invest in projects that are safe, even if the profit generated is small. At least if we are patient to accumulate the resulting profit, we can get a big profit in the end. I think it's very difficult to choose the shitcoins that will pump up to 10X, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. especially for new projects nowadays all of them have good white paper, and sometimes have a team that has been successful on several previous projects. but on the way most of the altcoins can not grow and are thrown from the exchange because there is no interest, and usually after the pump there will be a dump I don't think it's difficult to find promising altcoins that will moon.
