Sorry guys, this forum discriminates against small level members, so your posts don't get attention from popular members.
Wrong. JG has left you neutral trust, which should not affect you. You can't demand he changes the way he thinks; all you can do is try to convince him through actions. I caught an escrow scammer once. I sent a message to the scammer, and his main account replied seconds later. He left the forum after I caught him, but then came back during my hiatus.

why would you place the most important information on the site beneath when it should be on top and very visible for visitors.
I guess you are not intuitive enough, and you cannot be helped. Vaporware such as this depends on the leadership. This person is not a salesman and should stop posting if he wants people to think he is serious.

I'm getting a white page at the root. Some of the pages listed above still work.

You should move this to tech support, in case others have the same problem.

You mean usernumber. OK, I see it now, thx.

You are right, it would be a good practice to renew domain ownership for 10 years in advance, but on the other hand, if the project makes a profit within the first year, which at least pays for the costs of maintaining the project, then why should it stop working? If within a year we are unable to recoup the project at least for its maintenance, then most likely a. the project is not relevant at all, b. project management leaves much to be desired - which already makes it pointless in terms of profitability, no?
Exactly. So anyone that purchases now may lose their money come registration time. You could include a smart contract for payment, which pays you you over a set number of years. If your site continues, you will get paid, but if it doesn't, the remainder gets sent back.

|
|
You should register the domain for ten years then - you cannot get that money back by cancelling early, so it provides a little more protection.
Right now if you have not made enough money and your launch fails, you will simply not renew the domain - why throw good money after bad?

Sorry about that. A username change messed up my script, and needed manual attention.
You need to change to UID to identify a user. Some idiots like Tradefortress used to play around with usernames to break BPIP.

The guarantee that we will not turn off the project is that our site provides the opportunity not only to buy an area on the grid for advertising or posting your content for entertainment purposes, but also the opportunity to sell your area to other users or rent it out
That is not a guarantee. Do you have the funds to run the site for years if you get no sales at all?

Isn't it sorted by account number/UID?
Obviously it is not, at least not at the start. (I use the word obviously cause I just watched the movie 'The Platform')

We see these fly by night Million Dollar clones every couple months. After we have paid for lifetime advertising, how do we know you won't just shut down?

Apologies if you mentioned this somewhere before. How do you sort this list?

All that would be required to interact would be to know the 42 contract's address characters...
That is a technical issue that has prevented thousands of people from using bitcoin. A long stream of characters can scare anybody. Allow users to create "nicknames" for their contracts. So I can say use contract Vod24 instead of xxx.... Remove case sensitivity if you can. (VOD and Vod identical) You obviously can reuse old names after a period of time.

But I doubt a smart contract will work here since the collateral needs to be put at stop-limit order in able to secure the amount of collateral to 110% price margin.
The contract holding the collateral until the borrower receives funds is all you need. If the borrower agrees with your plan, neither of you needs any more protection.

Why do some people have such a lack of understanding of others?
People tend to see the tresspasses of others more serious than their own. You don't want to hear their noise so you force them to hear your noise. In return, they will feel the same way and escalate. Try a loud white noise generator instead of music. Run it during the allowed noise hours constantly. You'll drown it out quickly, and it may encourage them to be more quiet. If not, and they call the police, the law will be on your side - much more than if you were retaliating with music.

OP - I suggest you set up a smart contract for this. You sending $9000 to Eternad is risky, since he has little history and a lot of gambling posts. Escrows on here charge expensive fees for what a smart contract does automatically, and often the escrow provides no additional protection at all. Good luck!

almost have enough to pay my phone bill, just 10 bucks short.
Not sure where you live, but most companies accept a payment arrangement if you are going to be a few days late, and it won't affect your credit with them. And the interest fee they charge is usually only a few dollars - less than the transaction/gas fee.

I do not see why an exception should be made for that. A parallel thread can be created to discuss what was said in the locked thread, and in fact, it already happened, in the thread that JollyGood created about Bitcoingirl.club.
Agreed - it has been that way for a decade, although it was most used during the Lauda era. RRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE: A locked topic I want to discuss further!

Maybe a Playboy subscription in exchange for not Xtweeting anything for, lets say 48 hours?
He probably already has a digital subscription to every dirty magazine.

If the goods and services you sell in this market are legal, then what is the reason for making it decentralized? I can understand decentralization in mixers and services that may need to enhance privacy, but purchasing goods and products may be linked to knowing the buyer’s address, which makes it difficult to provide a service of a privacy nature. The market can be implemented for digital products not physical goods.
You can meet in a public place to exchange goods - no one needs to know your address.
