I just folded AA in a tourney because of being disconnected. Really disgusting IMO, that might have been the hand to bring me ITM. Can't you at least introduce automatic extra time on disconnection or something? All other poker clients are running great btw (and mostly have that extra time as far as I know) and I could reconnect "right away" but it was too late for my hand.

edit: ok I still managed to get a chopped first prize lol. But still would be nice if u could have disconnection protection Wink

Extra d/c time would be great, unfortunately it won't be available very soon.

If you seem to d/c completely randomly with no preceding lag or connection problems look on the pc-download page for the 'nodcdetect' version and see if that solves it.

THere was a problem with the bounty tourny today. A lot of people didn't get paid 20 for bounty. I received 1 bounty, but didn't get the other one.

Sorry about that, I'll make sure it gets fixed and boutnies paid.

Poker is alive and well at SwC
But for some reason [not Seals' fault],
the cash games are drying up.
WTF, I'll blame it on summer, see if things pick up in Sept.-Oct. Sad

You can see actual data at pokerscout.com

http://www.pokerscout.com/SiteDetail.aspx?site=SealswithClubs&ab=26416059

We're down from the peak, but no drop in the last month, and maybe a little tick upwards that doesn't quite show on the chart yet from this last week.

Though it ended in tears, after this chart stopped...  oh my...  Deviated from the 1,3,7,15,32 reset progression and paid for it dearly.

He asked in chat that I not update the chart to show his later rolls...  I have a feeling the updated chart would look a little ugly.

Lol, if you can't see it then it isn't there.

Administrator: Player hahalollol won 3844 chips for getting a Royal Flush at 1BB 20/20!

Not bad for some flipping xD

LMAO

I am a bit pissed right now.  Angry

I played at the 50/50 cash game,.....Needless to say I have lost a lot of confidence in your site now.

 Sad

Looks like they fixed the problem...  But a bit of advice.  If you don't want to see bad beats don't play this game.   This is just a flip fest. And weird stuff happens.  Pre  hand is very different than pre flop in this game.

not fixed. happened to me just now on 1BB 20 chip.
HH: http://piratepad.net/BEaWfz7KRW

This isn't desirable, but is actually correct. What happened is that you posted a dead small (because you missed it previously) and had almost nothing left over for the big blind and so could not win hardly anything from other players, less than the rake in fact.

This is just a flip fest.
It should acually say "flips" on the info page 4 these tables.

It actually should not. They are 1BB buy-in tables. They start as forced flips, but there is no obligation to keep jamming as stacks get deeper, they gradually turn in to skill games.
107  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: July 17, 2013, 05:44:44 PM
I have seen some nice tourneys added on like the 1800 guaranteed for 100 chips. This tourney sells out nightly as it is held 1700 hours with no overlay. These are def the types of tourneys players want. Maybe some 50 chip buyins with 900 guarantees?

The last complaint or suggestion would be some deepstacks. Seals is losing players to another site that is offering deepstacks with a great structure. I won't mention name of the site here but lets get these players back to seals and offer deepstacks also. Players are running to the other site. No reason seals shouldn't retain these players and keep money players are spending on other site  if its a simple matter of offering more tourneys with deepstacks. Players from seals are trying to unlock bonuses and playing on the other sites ring games as well. If seals offered more of the types of the tournaments that players are looking for elsewhere would be no reason for them to go to the other site and for seals to lose money imo.

I was really disappointed the dilution of the krill freerolls . It took me a few months to grind up to 10k krill and play the 2.5 krill roll. All the krill freerolls were lowered and it increased player fields 3 fold and diluted the priz e pool as 20 places payout now . Make the krill hard to earn and reward people for reaching hard levels don't make it easy by lowering krill freeroll requirements. I hope the 50k krill is left alone and not diluted like the other krill freerolls were. If the other krill freerolls were not dillluted I prob wouldn't have bought an account with 50k krill in order to play the monthly and also I wanted the 19 percent rakeback but due to all the collusion I rarely play ring anymore. Most of the collusion was in plo ring games the staple of my ring games. Please don't ruin the 50k freeroll by lowering requirements for that , leave something in tact that is hard to reach.

Thanks for the feedback. We will be trying some more deep tournaments.

One krill freeroll was made easier to enter recently, at the same time a fourth regular krill tourney was added and everyone earning rakeback was moved up a level. 50k krill accounts went from 11% to 19% rakeback.

There has been a lot of PLO and PLO8 collusion lately, which is quite distressing. However, they were not very good at all, and repeatedly losing their deposits plus any winnings seems to have dissuaded them at least for now.

But, as always, keep your head up and stay away from games that you aren't comfortable in.

We ran a bounty tourney tonight and it worked perfectly.

A bounty game will run twice daily, 2am and 2pm ET, total entry of 84 chips, 50 to prize pool, 20 to bounty, 4 rake.

On Monday there is a 300 chip bounty game at 9pm ET, 200 to prize pool, 100 to bounty, 15 rake.

Thanks to SealsDeals.info for making this happen.

Just an error, 50+20+4 = 74. I assume you meant the bounty is 30.

Ah, thanks. The total buy-in is actually 74 chips.

Currently everything is marked free. The only downside I see is that reaching $5000 for free shipping is going to be quite difficult.
111  Other / Meta / AgoraCommodities Article Thread Removed from Press on: July 17, 2013, 08:36:21 AM
Does anyone know why the Agora article thread in Press was removed?

This is the article and there was good content in the thread.

Lol, what the hell is going on. Everything at Agora is listed for "Free!" right now. How many 1 Kilo Gold Bars can I get at that price?

Even going to checkout doesn't fix it.

Unfortunately this makes it hard to get to the $5000 level for free shipping.

If enough people are doing that, then the volality of currency goes down and the value of the currency increases. speculators will get super excited.”

The value has a long way to go and it isn't going to be smooth. I mean what would happen if it was smoothly going up? People would get ahead of it of course.

I am a bit pissed right now.  Angry

I played at the 50/50 cash game, just to try it out. Lost a full bitCoin there to one bad beat after another.  Felt very dis-honest. And I have been through many bad beat streaks.

I expect I will be compensated for this hand?  And if you want a return customer, I would like my 1000 chips back, but I am not going to hold my breath.

Needless to say I have lost a lot of confidence in your site now.

 Sad

Yes, if you are all in preflop three or four ways the best hand loses the majority of the time. If you have a little bad luck on top of that odd fact it will seem absolutely terrible. Of course it goes the other way too.

I am not new to flip games, nor bad beats. I have hand history of a few 100k games at stars.  But if the site is not getting something as basic as who won the hand correctly, how can I trust much else? Especially something complicated as the RnG?!

I suppose I understand a bug in a new game and your explanation makes sense from a programing aspect. But still, Q/A much?

Anyway I have got my 147 chips back so thank you for that, not sure what I will do with it though.

The problem had nothing to do with the hand evaluator which has worked perfectly for a million hands. It was internally treating you as not in the hand because you couldn't post the big blind. The software wasn't built with having a 1BB maximum buy-in in mind, that possibility was not tested.

A strange thing happened in a new game. It only affected one hand. We've already made it right.

Specifically you owed a small and big blind because you had missed the blinds previously and could only afford the small, and so it got confused and didn't let you show down.
119  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: July 16, 2013, 12:50:31 AM
1)  Some of you may have seen the every hour is now 30 prizes.  Yes, 30.    The bottom spots all pay 2 chips, which is good for 2 shots at the 1 chip or the 1 chip rebuy.  Try some SwC for free, now in a more inclusive way IMO.

2) Monday is PLO day with 5 bitcoins guaranteed.  Every monday, .5 btc buy in (475+25) and 5000 guaranteed, usually beating that by a bit.

Come get some action on the biggest & most trusted bitcoin poker site

The lowest prizes in the 30 Prizes are 2% of the 50 chip prize pool, just 1 chip. But still, it's not that hard to get and gives a shot at the hourly "1 Chip" games.

a  hundred million dollars worth
That would be _really_ _really_ expensive, there are much less expensive ways to create disruption. Plus, markets have a fun way of absorbing that kind of crap and laughing all the way to the bank, it's very risky that it could have the opposite.

That is really not that much money when you are creating 85 Billion USD out of thin air every month... :/

It gets exponentially more expensive. Each wave they run enriches normal users and traders who will naturally save some of their gains as bitcoins each time.

And as mentioned there has already been tons of volatility and still bitcoin exists.

If they are going to make say 10x more volatility than we've seen they are going to be selling coins for at least 100x less than they bought them for. Essentially endless huge injections of cash into the bitcoin scene.

If they buy one coin from me for $5000 I can absorb 100 coins when they are dumping at $5. There are a limited number of coins they can dump before having to turn back around and send the price back towards infinity. Even people who don't buy coins back for some reason will be so rich that they won't feel the need to bail on the way down.

People who do have the bizarre behavior of buying high and selling low to amplify an attack like this will go broke themselves and not be involved in future rounds. Many have already been shaken out by normal volatility anyway.
