101  Economy / Economics / Re: My view of wealth and assets specially now on: December 23, 2023, 07:03:27 AM
The reality of Bitcoin can only be sensed if we hold it for long terms. The sweet fruit doesn't grow overnight, you need to ripe it first. I do not want to go in complexion of comparing whose great and not because over the time you get good returns on worst asset too. For example, Bitcoin or Real estate or Gold, all of them will hrow to new ATH with the time. If one is scarce in supply then other is becoming scarce due to external or internal factors that increases its value enormously. If we buy land and bitcoin today of equal value then imagine in next 20 years that land will be affected due to its surrounding demand. Maybe there is big township developing, or population is growing faster which eventually will add the value to it. Apart from it, in case of Bitcoin its supply will be limited and limited with higher network difficulty thus making it more demanding for possession. I think thats how we will see rise in all of the assets we hold. Its just matter of time.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don’t think bitcoin is now decentralized on: December 23, 2023, 03:28:21 AM
The miners are not to be blamed. The mempool is congested and that has been the reason. You can face the developers, not the miners. Either they should do something about Ordinals and BRC20 tokens or get a way the mempool will not be congested as this.

Now I am starting to feel like Satoshi should have made some provision to lock the blockchain (restrict) from getting used for other off-chains that are now cause of such high congestion on it. I know that this will make it look like a centralized blockchain since it won't be available for other projects to be utilized, but it surely would have stayed decentralized for Bitcoin without compromising its integrity. I am not sure if this is possible technically or not but imagine a world right now with blockchain that is only dedicated to Bitcoin, it would have been smoother for miners, developers, and users.

You know, the kind of thing where we have dedicated servers for "X" Virtual Database (VDb), with another one as the disaster management server. Similarly, it should have been only one Blockchain that is a highway for Bitcoin. Like a clean network with no other data getting mixed, such as Ordinals.
103  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: December 22, 2023, 03:20:26 PM
Anyone here that are still eligible for those that will be able to complete 20/24 of the gift challenges?
This one excites me as I think that there is a higher chance of getting drawn as a winner compared to the main raffle which consists of millions of tickets.

Can't wait for the raffle day!

I have missed most of the gift challenges, as they all looked the same every day, but it is nice that they have that ticket system for main prize. I mean it is good that not only those who made minimum deposit are eligible for main prize, or those who do daily challenges, but because it is open for everyone. The requirement for getting a ticket made everyone eligible for main prize. I did not have much tickets, around 100, but its cool that even a gambler with 1 ticket can get 2.5 BTC.

Talk about the luck and I am out.  Grin
I know that there is a high chance of winning the main prize even with a single ticket bu that comes at the cost of everything in your luck. Right now almost every casino is offering Christmas promos and contests that make gamblers choose between the best. So far Duelbits is one of my favorites but I am also missing some challenges due to a lack of activity or distributed focus on different casinos. However, I love the fact that they are at least giving something every day and making the contest special. Its way better than the last one and as compared to the other casino systems this is getting exciting and unique over the period.

It's good that we have weekend time and we can actually give more time to this contest and try to grab last minute gifts too. Instead of making it serious contest, just have fun everyone, and merry Christmas. xoxo
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Whole Concept of Bitcoin is Failing! on: December 22, 2023, 02:47:41 PM
That is why it has become imminent to find a mining solution or maybe increase the mining operations. It is evident that network difficulty is rising, however miners are losing the battle to tackle all the transactions that are getting broadcasted. This means, we either need to upgrade the technology at hand or increase the bulk mining preferences.

This is impossible but imagine the government stepping in with its operational facilities for the mining. Then they can become faster since they have more capacity to develop infra, get electricity at cheap rates for themselves, buy the equipment at a lower cost or maybe mass produce the same. I know government agreeing on this is literally next to impossible but imagine that happening in the near future.

It can make bitcoin available at government facilities, thus more public getting involved with it. This will definitely rise the price but lower the fees since tech will be advance and widespread.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Setting up financial structures before going into the family way on: December 22, 2023, 02:01:12 PM
Well, what to say about the children, they are getting very aggressive in terms of their wants and needs. I am using the word aggressive because the level with which they ask for it is always tempting. As a parent, you can not deny them and can't scold them which makes it far more difficult to manage the expenses made on them. These days every high school and school has canteens, tempting foods, educational system that has high requirements for daily activities.

Up bringing kids is costly and the way we earn is becoming irrelevant to our lifestyles too. After working for extra hours one can not get enough money to sustain. The salaries are competitive which makes it sophisticated to choose between the type of life we want. It's like more self-dependency rather than quick services that are bought outright.

With single head increasing in the house things start to escalate more and more in terms of expenses. So yep, think many times before making it work.
106  Economy / Gambling / Re: Joya.Casino| Rewarding Casino| Huge Welcome and VIP Bonus| 20% Weekly CashBack on: December 22, 2023, 01:34:02 PM
That is an excellent opening with a properly worked-out ANN. That tells us half of the story about how professional and serious the company behind the casino is. The VIP programs will be attracting many lord users from he forum for sure. The 100% loyalty bonus is something we rarely see in a casino. Anything that is earned from the loyalty bonus is nothing but recovering our losses and increasing personal stats of profitability.

I know it takes a lot of time and wager to reach the highest VIP level (here Casino Conquer) but eventually, many of them do. There is a high chance you will get many such high rollers from the Bitcointalk.

The license is from Curacao regulations which makes it one of the trusted casinos. Couldn't agree more on the range of slots available which is a whopping 7,000+. That is crazy man. I hope your stay makes the gambler one of the loyal members soon. Good luck.
107  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: December 22, 2023, 12:32:58 PM
Oh yes, I always read casino reviews. I also read casino reviews that I am using right now. I always verify that the reviewers are doing great by checking and matching the reviews about my casinos. This gives me more confidence about them and I can continue to explore other casinos if I ever want to change existing casinos.

Just yesterday I was discussing the ANN of GOSU betting. They have made excellent websites so far which cover detailed and enthusiastic reviews about different gambling sites and sports sites. If you check their reviewing criteria then you can get an idea for your project as well.

Some of the key points that should be covered in such a review are:
- Licensing
- KYC requirement (different levels explored in detailed)
- Customer support
- Withdraw and deposit easiness
- Security of funds / wallet
- Variety of games available to play and bet on
- Sports book section
- Reputatio, user experience etc.
- Promos, bonuses and rakeback pattern

I am referring most of them from the GOSU only but yeah, this is something I would love to see in a casino/sports betting website.
108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Could exchanges leverage on the current market trend to woo new investors? on: December 21, 2023, 01:41:17 PM
Ahh, the current surge seems to be the result of the halving period that is on the way. We have seen this trend all the time in the past halving also. This doesn't prove that adoption is imminent and frankly, I have seen such discussions right before the halving only or whenever Bitcoin is hiking in terms of prices and its market capital.

The adoption would be when we see the Bitcoin use case in different industrial and non-industrial sectors. Imagine seeing large volumes getting driven by big industries within the country and overseas, at least 5 out of 10 stores and vendors accepting Bitcoin for daily transactions, and at least a significant amount of the population accepting the same. Then we can safely say that Bitcoin has been adopted.

Considering the demand and supply formula that was set by Satoshi, the new investors will keep coming anyhow. They know that or at least they will sense with time how Bitcoin prices are going up. I mean just look at it, when it started and how it is going right now! Investors will surely come.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins and other cryptos will never become mainstream before... on: December 21, 2023, 12:51:16 PM
I like to read the discussion about Bitcoin adoption in the world as it is always a hot topic and different thoughts start to circulate. However, I have seen most of the time discussion ends at the point where Bitcoin is most likely not gonna be a mainstream currency. I am also one of the voters who think Bitcoin won't be a mainstream currency at all. I am one of the people who would want it to be one but it just can't. The limit of its supply makes it a limited asset with high demand in the future. This can lead to heavy congestion in the near future, if more and more adoption comes then it will escalate the burden on the blockchain network in no time. Imagine the situation right now, it's worse. The fees are high, the confirmation times are off the roof, so this doesn't really qualify as the perfect currency exchange.  However, it does qualify for the best stable asset for long-term holding.
110  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 GOSUBETTING 🏆 THE ULTIMATE BITCOIN BETTING GUIDE ⚽🏀⚾🏈🎮🎰📈 on: December 21, 2023, 12:17:11 PM
This is so far amazing review website. The rating criteria are extensive and on point. You have covered almost every bit of doubt in the rating criteria which makes it legit. This way a user can understand A to Z about the betting site and won't have to look for the info on any other website. The efforts that you have put into building this review system are a good way to go with it. Just by reading the ANN, anyone will become impressed and after visiting the site it's just thorough reviews everywhere.

It is good to add reputation, licensing, and customer support because most of the time users only go and visit the site based on its appearance, cool-looking UI, etc. However, most of the time they forget that casino runs on licence and reputation. If there are any doubts about it then things can go south-west at anytime.

Good luck for the future endaveour, hope so we keep seeing updated versions and reviews all the time.
111  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 21, 2023, 11:49:58 AM
Does anyone know why do I see dplay.casino and Club Riches on freebitco.in? Are these casinos owned by freebitco or are partners? I can't find ANN thread of Dplay and Club Riches on bitcointalk and since I see them on freebitco.in, I think it's appropriate to ask this question here.

If you win the $200 or top prizes on the free roll or anything else definitely post that here because its pretty rare and cool to see.   I have not yet won that but Iam due a win by all laws of probability, I will personally dig up Blaise Pascal and refute his theorem in person if he dont deliver soon.
It was back in October 2016 when I first started hunting faucets for the last 5-6 months and had joined this forum looking for more faucets to hunt. They were starting to become a bit of a bore when one fine morning I rolled 10000 on the free roll here. I was stunned and stared at the screen for few minutes before I could make out anything and the next thing was that I posted it here on the Gambling discussion section

Got 200$ from Freebitcoin today morning, call that a BIG WIN
You were super lucky, I have been rolling freebitco faucet for years and have never got higher roll than the roll in 9986 - 9993 range. I don't actively play now, only hold FUN.
Btw I thought they were giving away 1 bitcoin every hour in 2016, seems I was registered here way back. Time flies.

Congrats to the HI roller. I am also about the same age on the freebitco but never got the opportunity to roll for a $200 prize. But since the FUN program was launched on the site with its premium membership benefits I am more than happy to stay there for that very purpose. Later I became a big fan of the Betting section on freebitco. It's unique ranges, simple design, and live stats of how many % peeps are betting make it easier to play.

I have shifted my focus to collecting more and more WOF and playing them together. The last batch that I rolled was 2000 WOF and got awesome prizes back to my account. Moving further, my favorite part is multiply wager. I have been wagering so much that my account is always has Active Bonus that helps me boost my wagering amount. My current personal stats is still in loss, but I love to play it anyways in the hope I will hit the jackpot or reach 25c requirement to avail the profits. Smiley
112  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: December 18, 2023, 03:13:19 PM
Now, he managed to play along with Suarez in Inter Miami but I have seen articles where Luis Suarez says that he has a tremendous pain and every day is a nightmare for him, he takes pills and injections before he plays football. He said that it's so painful for him that he can't play with his kids, so, I don't know why he doesn't retire.
Makes sense. He probably doesn't want to give up on fame and money which is why he didn't retire early. Attention seeker basically!
He has osteoarthritis in his left knee and is in constant pain, has to take up to three pills and has to do an injection (probably corticosteroids) before football matches. If he doesn't stop football, i.e. if he doesn't retire, his body will force him to retire and it will be even more painful because he won't be able to walk normally. I think he has enough money to retire and live amazing life the rest of his life. His fame is already gone.

I think that he might move in America just to have a guaranteed high quality of life along with Messi and will play with less enthusiasm. By the way, Messi's influence is super high, this guy just tells Inter Miami to transfer his friend and pay him millions of dollars Cheesy I can't believe it.

Looks like he has been a hell of a player all the time. The injuries tell the story always whether it is from the war or sports. Good to know that they are not connected with Duelbits as brand partners or ambassadors. This collaboration was uncalled for and it's amazing to see the efforts put forth by Duelbits regarding this. The next big thing was they did it right before Christmas time and that is like a gift for everyone.

I am not sure if he will move to America or not but that sounds like a good idea. American life can provide him with a quality lifestyle. Higher medical care for their injury. That can be perfect retirement indeed.

On the other hand, the events that are getting hosted by the Duelbits with no wagering requirements, etc, are just awesome. Now that is called as Christmas gift since it has less requirements or no requirements at all to achieve the goals.
113  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: December 17, 2023, 06:16:38 PM
~
and also with their sincerity then success will come to this project and also for others that will be Open minded that gambling is not just as simple as they think and Gamblers should not be blamed completely because no one wanted to be addicted and the obligation here is to help them out and theres no need of blaming as this is really a serious problem as the world facing addiction problem.a friend of mine also faced this problem but lucky that he is now sober and yeah a gambling free human.
That too, sincere help is better than a forced one because you know that the person cares about you. Open mindedness is a mindset that needs to be learned early on in life because being open minded is difficult when you're an adult with an established belief. The victim blaming part is a difficult one because when you listen to the argument of these people that do this, they always sound so logical and reasonable but the problem is that victim blaming invalidates their horrific experience into a lesson that will soon be forgotten after listening to it, I hope that more and more people learn not to do that kind of thing against people that are a victim of addiction and many other horrifying experiences out there. Good for your friend to be able to stop gambling and live a life free of that vice.

We can only lecture peeps surrounding us but we cant make them act on it. If it was that easy then everyone would have gotten motivated with motivating speeches and podcasts but they dont. In reality motivation remains valid for only momentarily timeline. Once that person is out of that zone they no longer act on it. This requires restructuring of the lifestyle by going for another motivational therapy. That sucks.

Whenever it comes to gambling, only one thing can help them stay away from the addiction and thats: “discipline”.  Mark this word, it can help get out of the addiction problem real quick with streamlined gambling. This discipline could be as easy as following timelines, making routine checks on accounting, giving away games when losing and much more realistic checks in the list. So yeah, better follow a discipline rather than hoping a help from someone else.
114  Economy / Gambling / Re: tell me the best online casino on: December 17, 2023, 05:23:57 PM
In short, you are asking for the casino that is the most popular and trusted one. Well, whatever you listed is nothing but gamblers' first marklist to check with the casino. I have been choosing the right casino since 2015-16 and I started with primedice initially. I followed stakes after this which took me on the journey of poker specifically. After that came Roobet and Duelbits. These two became my partners in gambling since then and I can openly say that they are the best casinos so far. They fulfill the list you have mentioned up here and can make us home easily. They have a tremendous amount of promos and contests going on all the time. When it comes to surprising the users Roobet has always taken the first place since the first day. They have gone very far in terms of their promotional activity. The slots, live casino, card games or even arcade, all of them are sweet deals on both Duelbits and Roobet. From my side they could be your next casino to look at and have fun.
115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best decision you can take on: December 17, 2023, 04:51:13 PM
Excellent choice at the end of the post. I am always jumping into the market or other types of investments with a similar mindset. If you are ready to do it then you have to be 100% sure, if there is the slightest doubt then you can always have an exit strategy right at that point. If we miss doing this then things can go south and this happened with me when I bought one of the alt blindly. The project had amazing marketing geeks, they published it via affiliate marketing and social media accounts. When I looked at it from top to bottom it seemed just fine. However, when it came to the point when I wanted to invest my money in it I had some doubts, or you can say that they started rolling at that exact movement somehow. Maybe call it subconscious analysis that made me go away from it and not invest but somehow I did not triple-check the facts and invested anyways. This made me a lot of losses via that investment. Since then, the goal is to keep myself away from the trading on daily basis. Only invest when something excellent and of the Bitcoin quality comes out.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You must have a source on: December 17, 2023, 04:14:55 PM
Most people that have sold their Bitcoin holdings at a loss or at an average price actually have the patience but don't have the knowledge of how to hold, because a good holder must be aware that he needs a source of income for him to be able to consolidate to his holdings.

I am correlating with your post because I have gone through this or sometimes I am doing this even if I do not want my Bitcoin to be sold. I have also regretted selling of my Bitcoin in later times when Bitcoin has gone up. Things are not always the same for us in day-to-day life. I am a salaried person with a family of 6 and we have one more earned in the house. On average, we are sustaining 3+3 peeps in the house including ourselves. Honestly, the income isn't sufficient from the fixed salaried because of most it goes into loan EMIs, daily budgets, family vacations, and all the boring things that we know of that may not be mandatory or skippable but we still end up spending money on them.

This is where my Bitcoin income comes in action. I have made myself clear about my Bitcoin share and that's why I bought a ledger long ago where some % goes for cold storage. However, there is always some chunk that I am reserving for myself. I understand that it can grow into a profitable asset as Bitcoin goes up.

However, it is still a sweet deal. If we are spending from Bitcoin then we are using it, that gives it a movement in the market.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you still use Banks ? on: December 16, 2023, 07:31:28 PM
Frankly, I still use a bank because most of the share I earn comes from my real job salary. I can not just furiously put that money into Bitcoin. However, Bitcoin is one of my investments and not the use case. I am doing transactions all the time but they are either to move my coins from a soft wallet to a hardware wallet, or some charities, or rarely for my usage. On the other hand, Bitcoin serves only the purpose of holding and earning profits along the way. I am not making any excuses for using Bitcoin for everyday transactions but the issue of fees, long durations of confirmations, and less availability of physical vendors make it limited for me. In my country, it is not widely accepted yet plus patience can not be tested here for walkthrough services.

This is why I still have to rely on the banks no matter what. I think this will not change for another 2 decades since Bitcoin has to overcome the above issues and also it mayhappen that in the future when Bitcoin price keeps growing it will end up having more scalability issues.
118  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 16, 2023, 06:30:15 PM
Without trading volume a token is practically worthless. They can tell you that the token is worth $10 but if nobody is willing to pay that much then the value isn't real. It's been mentioned since the beginning that part of the supply would be used for providing liquidity on Uniswap. Unlike centralized exchanges there is no risk of FUN getting delisted from Uniswap so it is nice to have that option available.

It should be noted that the FUN token has a daily trading volume of more than $23 million on centralized exchanges. This is quite good, and I believe there is no reason why this token could be delisted from centralized exchanges (binance, gate, etc). The only risk is if gambling tokens are banned in the jurisdiction of centralized exchanges, but this is unlikely at the moment.

That is a pretty impressive trading volume, offcourse the FUN tokens were already listed on Binance before freebitco.in took over the ownership, but I didn’t think the volume would be so high. I don’t know if it is really unlikely that the gambling tokens would be banned as there is a lot of scrutiny lately ongoing against gambling in general (at least in my country) and against centralized exchanges like Binance.

That's the fun about FUN! No one will tell you about its price in the future or no one is willing to use it for anything but have you gotten the gist of holding it and staking for the good? I mean come on, by the time you think about this, I have held FUN for 4 years. I have already gotten 25% back from the staking program. Not only that, every year I have compounded my investment thus, A=(1st yr+25%), then next year A+2nd yr+25%, and so on mate! That is giving back nice FUN to me along with the increased valuation. I agree it's a little less than the initial price of investment however through these years I have maintained myself above BEP. If there is a slight increase in the price I am getting myself green zone soon. It's not always about the use case, sometimes it's systematic investment plans too.

On the other hand, staking FUN on free bitcoin gives you premium benefits that you can't ignore at all. You know how much you can get in freebies. They also cover lot of investment since you are straight up getting RP's and Sats that can get added to your profits. Better check everything in detail and you will see how it goes.
119  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 16, 2023, 10:44:26 AM
Bots are literally the bane of X. Their pathetic security team sucks at minimising their activity chasing away legit members.
I don't know even if the have any security measures to determine the bots suspicious activity or not because they are in huge numbers and whenever there is any giveaway without any strings attached you would see them attacking that tweet so many members don't take part due to this thing.

I think Bots and X is very old relationship. If X had to do anything with it then they should have done it already. Somehow there is lacuna in the entire code of X and if developers try to change it then it may collapse the entire X ecosystem. I am not sure if it was the previous owner who let it flow freely throughout the X or it was unknown security bug that they never worked on?

If it is a code, you know how to fix it. If it is still not getting fixed then its definitely intentional.

Anyways, to the part where we are getting robbed by bots in Roobets promo and contest on X, I think they should be screening the followers on their accounts. Be it manually with team of lets say 5 moderators but it can be minimised slowly. The only question is whether it is worth it?
120  Economy / Gambling / Re: Togelbet new casino manual on: December 16, 2023, 10:25:04 AM
OP, I see there are two online lottery websites in your thread, [1].Togelbet and the second one[2]. hongkonglive.com, so which lottery site are you talking about.

As far as I know Togelbet.com comes from Singapore, not many people are interested in the Togelbet.com lottery website.

Meanwhile, I saw that the telephone number on the hongkonglive.com website came from Indonesia.

If you ask me, then yeah it raises a lot of concerns if I am studying the technical aspects of their site and what they mention in the OP. No hard feelings from my end too, but this looks concerning because no one would just launch their services or offerings on this forum just like unless they are trying to scam it.

Any small or big or even start-up entity would not make this marketing mistake. If someone is serious then they would just hire a manager, create a proper ANN, and make all their social accounts available to access. This in turn can gain the proper traction of users, and their trust in the entity.

This is not it, then also peeps go and test out only if they think its worth it. The idea is nice, if you are genuine then you should really rework your methodology before launching.
