101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder Vs Zhilei Zhang JUNE 1 Heavyweight on: June 06, 2024, 02:49:41 PM

Dubois is now the interim IBF champion and it was reported that AJ could be his next fight, or maybe wait for the Usyk vs Fury and then him fighting for the regular IBF champion. So let's see how it goes for him, and with his big win against Hrgovic, it really opens a lot of door for him.

It's still unclear and there's no final confirmation it's all a buzz we never know if it will become a Zhang - Dubois but any fighter against these two will attract attention, Dubois's performance is surprising an AJ fight is good for boxing too what happened to Saudi Arabia surprise a lot of boxing aficionados in the heavyweight division, the heavyweight has been so attractive than before because many names are coming up that the boxing fans will enjoy.
I don't expect Wilder to create a buzz about the coming fight and if he announces his retirement the boxing community will welcome it, even though the kind of exit or farewell is not something that he wants, the guy cannot do a Joshua act to revive his career.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tank Davis Vs Frank Martin WBA Lightweight Title June 22 HoustonTexas on: June 06, 2024, 01:26:43 PM
Less that two weeks from this fight and I see a twitter post when Errol Spence and Frank Martin are talking about Frank beating Gervonta Davis. And then Shakur Stevenson will have to wait because there is a rematch clause between Martin and Davis.
Usually a rematch happens when a champion loses his belt or the fight is too close that it could go either way, if Martin loses the match by stoppage I don't think there will be a rematch it's not appealing to the boxing fans if Gervonta loses by a stoppage he had the privilege to try to regain his title, all championships match usually has this rematch clause

Quote
Davis on the other hand saying that Martin doesn't like body shots, so for sure we will be looking for that kind of punch. Perhaps it will be the same strategy against Ryan, when he target his body and then go upstairs. Also lots of sparring sessions of Tank as well released in the social media that he buckled down the legs of his sparring partner.
Public sparring doesn't indicate anything they are not hard sparring because if people see that one favorite fighter dominated by his sparring partner it will not attract the betting platforms, hard sparing is kept in public they only show it after the fight not before the fight, as it can distract or influenced the betting and opinions of the boxing fans.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is a fun activity but it has some potential to be profitable sometimes on: June 06, 2024, 11:01:34 AM
Winning is when you cash it out and enjoy it.
You are not wrong. Winning is not when someone win a bet but when they cash out the money and spend it on something. I have several winning but I hardly cash out because most of the money I won I later lost it. They are small amount of money which I can not even think about at all. But it is good to know that gambling is for fun but I do not see it as a potential means of making profit at times. This is what some people will think and use high amount of money to gamble. When they lose is when they will know that this is not true most of the time.

I am one of those who won a big amount of money but prefer to continue and eventually lose it, I don't know but there's something in me that urges me to continue maybe because it is too early to call it a day and have not fully enjoy the games or I feel I still can do better with my bets.

Everytime I cash out my winnings and look back to see how will it play out if I continue most of the time I regret I quit this early, but gambling has so many uncertainties you really can't be sure how it play out, but you must have an open for acceptance on everything that has happened.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can someone take gambling as a source of income to he/she life? on: June 05, 2024, 03:41:28 PM

I said let me express my feelings towards this to forum gambling discussion, if their are people who are living in this kind of lifestyle. And what will be your opinion towards the people living in this kind of lifestyle everyday of their life's?

I've tried a few times but I really can't, it's frustrating and you will end up losing everything you must know your limitations, and the fact about what gambling is if you fail to do that you will become a complete failure.
There are thousands of jobs that you can do to make a living and gambling is never one of them.

The only people who make a profit from gambling are gambling operators and promoters but as a player, you have no chance to win in gambling, there are temptations to make a profit especially if you tasted how is it to make money from gambling, but it's not happy day every day and there are more losing days than winning days.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling push notifications. on: June 05, 2024, 02:09:11 PM
After being registered on a few sites  that offer online  gambling I have experienced on my mobile the increasing number of push notifications from other services of gambling  field.  My mobile is not tight to those sites where I'm gambling but bounded with Gmail.

I gamble via my laptop rather than mobile.

Does those push notifications mean that Google has linked somehow my  laptop and Gmail account?

What is the best way to protect myself from such "guardianship" (if any)?

When you register to gambling platform or any other platforms especially if the platform is a membership type of platform, they have an opt to subscribe when you are in the process of sign up and some sites do not have this and there is a mandatory subscription to their newsletter.

You can opt to unsubscribe if you want to or if the platform do not have that option you can request to unsubscribe All subscription based emails coming from membership platform have unsubscribe button at the of email if you find them annoying you can unsubscribe.

I unsubscribe on many emails subscription that I have no interest to use or not active anymore, don't hit spam if there are unsubscribe button to avoid the newsletter from being flagged as spam.

106  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gambling is a fatal mistake on: June 05, 2024, 11:43:36 AM
The guy is so hooked up on gambling that he prefers to abandon his family over gambling, the guy is living a miserable life now he doesn't have anyone after he left his family, and the only way he can be saved from going miserable is people who are with him right now understand his situation and try to help by going through a psychiatrist and get counsel.

But if the people who are with him right now are also gamblers then it's only a matter of time before the guy loses his mind and worse he will be confined in a mental institution, some people also go crazy or lose their mind from gambling.
107  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is getting addicted to gambling right or wrong? on: June 04, 2024, 03:31:03 PM
So, is it wrong to be too addicted to gambling? how can it be control or how can one manage gambling?

We have been discussing the harmful effects of gambling so I'm sure the majority will agree that gambling addiction is not right and it should be avoided at all costs because it ruins lives and finances.

When you're addicted to gambling and you want a way out your only chance is to get professional help because they are the only people who can give you the right advice laid out the right plan, advice alone will not do it, you must stop the symptoms and no will power can do that, you should be monitored by a competent professional whose specialty is to cure gambling addiction.
It may be costly but the therapy is for long-term and guaranteed to stop addiction.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling increases computer education. on: June 04, 2024, 02:39:39 PM
I am sure many of them wouldn't have learned anything about the computer if not for online gambling. What are your thoughts?

I wonder what the number of that many because even in a country where gambling is very popular there is no news that it contributed to computer usage even among the elders, people can learn it from home because there will be always a computer in every home because of at least one family using a computer or there are shops that use a computer.

Not because you observe, that you can use the word many without checking the facts, I also talked to elder gamblers and they know how to operate computers already before they become online players maybe for a few or some but I doubt if the numbers are too high.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet against the club you support? on: June 04, 2024, 01:07:50 PM
Well I never betted against the club i support I'll rather bet on other matches. However this brings us back to the question, would you bet against the club you support ?

It depends on the situation, if I need money and if based on my analysis the club I'm supporting is a huge underdog with no way to team I can bet against the team or club I'm supporting as a gambler we are looking for an opportunity to make money so why let this slip you, there are will be times that you can show your support to your favorite team.

When I was betting on horse racing I had a list of favorite horses that gave me a lot of winning combinations, but there were times that I bet against them when they were handicapped and they were up against strong horses It was just the way things on sports betting, you can remain loyal and still make money.

It's different if you are a very loyal supporter and you do not need money and just here out of loyalty to the club you're supporting.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pepe in a Memes World on: June 03, 2024, 03:58:00 PM
PEPE like Shiba Inu are exception in the meme coin because of their uniqueness they were able to pull and gain the support of the majority of investors which is why they are on top of the meme trends, after the success of PEPE the frog it spurned so many PEPE imitation.

I have to admit I was one of the victims of these PEPE trends a friend invited me to take part in the new PEPE and was misled it came from the same team, It is good that I only lost a few dollars.

The lesson I learned here is not all of what you read about imitated memes are correct and memes are still high-risk investment, they are like chocolate in a box, you never know what you're going to get.

111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder Vs Zhilei Zhang JUNE 1 Heavyweight on: June 03, 2024, 03:21:53 PM
I don't think that the psychologist can help him get over his mental problems and be back at his former self. As what we have seen, when he fought Fury he was really exposed as just one dimensional fighter who just rely on his power. Although in the first fight, he was able to score a knock down, but in the rematch it was different and that really take a lot, as hee had become someone else.

So we don't know what's his future, maybe he is now considering retirement. Now he is old, he can't just rely solely on his power, he needs to learn to be a boxer. But it's too late for him now.

He needs a psychologist to help him accept his defeat and retire happily because he cannot go back to boxing and still expect to win. The way I see it, he has a big problem within himself. Every time he loses, it seems like he doesn't acknowledge the winner and still thinks he is the better fighter. Wilder is delusional; he thinks he is still living in his boxing superstar days and hasn't suffered a defeat yet. We have a lot of heavyweight fighters ready to make names for themselves. Let's give them a chance, and old boxers like Wilder should retire already.

Yes that's true he seems to be a sore loser even in his match against Joseph Parker which Parker dominated he has an excuse:

Quote
Wilder said: “It was a boring fight, nothing really happened. I went right back to training the next day. He really didn't do nothing, they just went off the little flurries or whatever. In the training for that I had to travel two times, 20 hours of travelling. And those guys were already in Europe, they were only 2/3 hours away. I'm not complaining, I'm just saying what I had to go through.

Deontay Wilder in new excuse over shock loss to Joseph Parker

And I'm sure he has one coming in the next few days against Zhang, he has too much pride compared to some of the great boxers like Tyson, Lewis, and Evander Holyfield who can admit defeat.

The road to the title shot is unclear for Wilder so many young and skilled boxers are coming up in the heavyweight, and even if he fights Joshua next I don't think he stands a chance, Joshua has learned a lot after his first defeat against Ruiz that he armed himself with better skills something that Wilder is to late to learn

112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tell me the unexpected problems you've encountered in a casino? on: June 03, 2024, 02:30:06 PM
I have never encountered any issues with my account but some of my friends encountered getting their account restricted or banned even though they have done nothing wrong I have advised them to ask for clarification on the live support and ask for additional info.

I also advised them that if they are ignored or support was not given the right answer they should open an accusation or ask for third-party arbitration to resolve the issue.

Bitcointalk has a scam section I also advise them to open one if they are not satisfied with the answer, maybe in the future, I will encounter a similar issue so I am always ready to have all my documents ready and to prevent this issue I always abide by the casino's terms and rules.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you understand entertainment? on: June 03, 2024, 01:41:10 PM

But I see in this a certain cognitive activity, only with poorly formulated goals. For example, you play in order to understand the laws of the game over time and learn to win more often.
Or maybe entertainment for you is something else?
Many gamblers start playing with entertainment in mind but as they continue their session or later on in their playing session there's always a shift of goal because part of gambling is the opportunity to make a profit so from motivation to have fun there's now a goal to make money this is where the shift from treating gambling to being an entertainment to trying to make a living out of it and that's where addiction will start.

Gambling addiction started as a hobby it is the opportunity to make a lot of money coming from the gambler experience or what they saw in other people that creates a shift of motivation, if it's only for entertainment the player will not allocate a lot of money and time when the motivation changes that's where they spend more time and money.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you ignore/resist cheating to secure a winning bet? on: June 03, 2024, 11:40:02 AM

So if you are one of the specified fun gamblers, can you resist cheating opportunity and just rely your winning on your own ability?

Mind you: Cheating is cheating on whichever way as long you sources your winning outside your ability

You have to overcome or ignore cheating because if you get away from your first time you will not on the second or third time you eventually get caught and you will lose all the benefits of your account and worse the casino confiscate your balance including your winning.

Once you experience cheating and get away with it you will want more because of the opportunity to make money, you cannot underestimate the casino tracing tool to trace cheating if you think you are wiser, the casinos' tools are sophisticated and you will eventually catch.

It's better to play honestly and not challenge the casino to track you because they can and they will always catch cheaters.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder Vs Zhilei Zhang JUNE 1 Heavyweight on: June 02, 2024, 03:57:42 PM

Wilder had it wrong, to be depending on his punch knockout without changing the pattern of how to defend himself rather than falling vulnerable to his fellow fighter who can master his fighting tactics not to allow him to give power punch. Nevertheless, much respect for Wilder for having won 43 times, 5 losses, and 1 draw in his boxing career

He's been doing this all his fights he just relies upon his powerbomb which is why he is called the Bronze Bomber checked on the link I provided and you will see that all the fights shown on that video are left jabs followed by a right, he throws a lot of wild shots. he has no head movement and no lateral movement in the ring.

He had success doing this early on in his career so he did not or failed to develop skills to back up his power and when faced with boxers who can duck, and who can counter that's when he realized that he needed additional skill but that was a way too late to develop, so those boxers who beat him, Fury, Parker and now Zhang have the same style they can jab have head movements and can counter, he has no counter to these boxers so he suffered devastating losses.

116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Subriel Matias VS Liam Paro IBF Super Lightweight June 15th Manati, Puerto Rico. on: June 02, 2024, 03:12:23 PM
After the 5 vs 5 Queennsberry against Matchroom in Saudi Arabian focus is now on this fight that will happen two weeks from now in Puerto Rico, I'm looking forward to their press conference and weigh in, they haven't met yet but they have the same promoter which is Matchroom.

Liam Paro is from Australia while Subriel represents Puerto Rico this week we will have a lot of buzzes between the two, many experts predict that this is going to be a very good fight, although Subriel is the heavy favorite, Liam Paro can pull an upset he already proves that he can handle pressure in the ring.

Check out his fight against Montana Love, both fighters are even in round 5 until Liam Paro shows an opening to land his vicious punches in round 6 and end the fight so it's possible that he can do this against Subriel.

117  Economy / Gambling / Re: Predict the price of crypto and win! on: June 02, 2024, 02:16:54 PM

I do not know what the team proposed to the managers, but they need to realize that if they want to advertise here, they need to allocate certain funds for the marketing which includes the manager's fee and the participant's payments. No one will be willing to work on the condition that if we can bring you sales, the gambling team will pay us and if there is no sales, there may be no payment. Also, such a model is not transparent because the site can always show fake stats in order to avoid or lower the payments.
They need to think that so many trusted gambling sites are advertising through signature campaigns for long time, meaning that the ROI to advertisement on this forum is good one.

OP did not know or did any research on how a signature campaign works here in Bitcointalk, what he is proposing is for the manager to spend their funds and they will do a profit-sharing, they don't need a signature manager all they need people who will promote their project on their own.

Checking their business model, it is profitable for affiliate marketers but no bounty manager will accept this kind of scheme, if OP is the main developer of the project then I agree that he spends his own funds and gets 100% of the profit, so why not try a month campaign and see the results, you can repeat if the campaign is successful.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How could i found a legit project? on: June 02, 2024, 01:44:13 PM
Are you guys also a victim of a rug projects like me i am now fed up with the meme coins specially on solana most of them are rug and the projects who reach to millions of Marketcap is really hard to find and when i found them those coins already at their ATH. Tell me how could i found the legit project and how i can make profit because from the last 1 year i lost a lot of my hard earned money in the scams recently i look into a project called ghost face and they claim that ghost face is a meme killer and for the users security there are no team tokens all tokens will go into the LP so what you think ghost face is a legit one or not give your honest opinion on this.

Web: https://ghostface.fun/

The link you provided is quite scary it's a Halloween theme script and not everyone is comfortable with that script, memes are the current pump-and-dump trend in the market because it is the trend now, the scariest is scammers joined the meme trend and they are creating projects because it is easy to create one because it lacks use case if you want to have a peace of mind investing knowing that you have a good chance to make profit then go for projects or coins that have proven their profitability in the market.

Only invest in altcoins on funds that you can afford to lose, no investors want to lose money investing but memes right now are the riskiest projects to invest in, so if you're still attracted to investing in memes use excess money and concentrate your portfolio on coins and tokens that have proven their worth in the market.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder Vs Zhilei Zhang JUNE 1 Heavyweight on: June 02, 2024, 11:49:34 AM

This is already the end of Wilder's career. I just watch the highlights of the fight but I'm surprised with the big weight difference.

As to this video  BRUTAL KO | Zhilei Zhang vs. Deontay Wilder Highlights (Queensberry vs. Matchroom - Riyadh Season) from DAZN boxing.

Wilder's weight was 214.6 while Zhang's weight was 282.8, that's 68.2 lbs difference in favor of Zhang. And as we all know that Wilder relied heavily on his power, how can it be possible for him to KO a boxer that is way heavier than him.

Have you all seen the big leg difference Wilder's leg is like a pole the weight difference is just too much Zhang imposes his weight on Deontay, this is one of Wilder's lightest weights he averages 220 and his heaviest is at 230, his team may be thinking that Deontay needs to be light so he can move fast and avoid Zhang right straight Deontay did hit Zhang with that right hand but he easily recovered and that made Zhang confidence to grew.

Deontay did not give an interview and left the arena in a somber mood maybe contemplating retirement so we will see that in the coming days but I don't see him continuing anymore the power and the motivation is just not there anymore, he already made a lot of money, he can now enjoy retirement.

Somber Deontay Wilder after KO loss to Zhang leaves arena with team in hand

120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder Vs Zhilei Zhang JUNE 1 Heavyweight on: June 02, 2024, 12:55:34 AM

More interested on the Zhang vs Wilder fight, I put some money on Wilder ML so let's see.  Smiley

Zhang just knocked out Wilder in the 5th round probably the worst loss of Deontay Wilder and possibly an end to his career Zhang caught him with a vicious right when he was off balance it was a perfectly time right hook it caught Wilder when he was not aware of it.

This a sorry loss for Wilder, Zhang just ate up his right hand and after round three Zhang was pressuring Wilder to open up, Wilder's wild punch which Zhang alluded to and his right hook hand did it for Zhang, Zhang quickly thinking of following it up just when Wilder was off balance and defenseless on that right hook.

We will never see a Wilder - Joshua match anymore because of this loss, Joshua is moving on while Wilder is going on retirement, it was not a good farewell fight for Wilder but he did have a great boxing career.
