Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

Because they don't know what they're talking about. Those people are just handing their bitcoins to someone else who deserves them more.

Because people have a right to say whatever they want to tell.
But it is on ourself to recognize what is right and what is wrong. Because people are only saying but in reality they don't do it which they personally know about the wrong thing.
But about the bitcoin, Than i want to tell, Really i don't hear to anyone who said that bitcoin is dead. I always hear to the people that bitcoin is superb crypto currency and it will live long.
Actualy i agree with you, it is not that often to see and hear someone saying that bitcoin is dead, but it happens. Actualy today i read one post on facebook that said, that bitcoin is dead. I am not sure if that guy was trying to troll or maybe something else, but it was not that much funny. Everyone that know even a little bit about bitcoin, knows that it will live long enough. ☺
1002  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: May 19, 2017, 05:05:25 PM
No , Bitcoin can't replaced Dollar , but it can be an independent currency , in any case that will takes long time because there are a lot of challenges
I think Bitcoin replace it I think it is possible through time, maybe decades from now we'll use biticoin instead of the dollar. If that happens I know it is not impossible there will be a lot of changes in the future generations.
If they adjust the fees maybe, but even now you see the problem that there are too many people tradin with bitcoin, and if they don't do something about the fees you will proboly pay even 10$ for asap transaction on blockchain.
Yes that is truth, i had some problems yesterday, with some payment that i needed to be done fast. Fortunately friend told me about some site that can help with transactions and that made my paying a lot faster. It will not be long before people start paying with money for that. Bitcoin have long way to go before it could replace some strong currency like Dollar, but it is not impossible.
1003  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people believe in religion? on: May 19, 2017, 04:51:06 PM
There are many religious people on earth. Even the vast majority of the world believes in monotheistic religions.
And often they do not question belief systems. There are many people who have Christian, Muslim and Jewish beliefs.

Why do they still believe in religion. I can not understand why people believe in religions in the age when we can reach the information so quickly.
Because religion loves peace

If there is no religion in this world there will be world war 3

On the contrary, religions kindle wars among themselves and very often they are mass hemorrhages ostensibly for the benefit of their religion.

Same thing that non-religion does... WW2, Stalin, many more.

Cool

Religion as well as the cult of personality are created in order to easily manage people. People are inspired with fear and guilt. And because of this they become easy to manage. And this is very convenient for the government

Yes, it is very convenient to manage people who do not know how to think independently and receive all the answers with the help of science.
There is this sentence that i remembered just not while reading and it goes something like this: Where science ends, religion begins. For now science can not prove everything, and that is why there are still people who believe in some things that are rather... funny. But not all religious people are blind sheeps that follow.

Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

Because they don't know what they're talking about. Those people are just handing their bitcoins to someone else who deserves them more.
Of course.

They do not know what bitcoin that's the point

Whereas we use bitcoin for future money Smiley Smiley
But there is also someone who knows bitcoin but they say bitcoin will die Lol. Yeah my friend is losing in trade and making him bankrut then he vent by saying bitcoin will die. Because he is grudge lol
That could be the answer to our question here... grudge, or at least one of answers. People tend to do bad things in life after they lost something, so it could be that. But i do not see how can someone lose money on bitcoin... if it was not scam. Bitcoin will maybe die someday, but that day wont come soon. Bitcoin is getting stronger for now, and that is only what we need to keep in mind Cheesy .
1005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: May 19, 2017, 04:42:06 PM
What is bitcoin for you? Is it a chance or a scheme to get rich? Or is it actually to keep your wealth to yourself.
What lead you into bitcoin world and what's keeping you here?
It is a simple, but interesting question. I have heard about bitcoin from a friend, and that is how i got in to a bitcoin. Not long after that i found out about this forum, and in that moment i started earning bitcoin and learned a lot more about it. Whet keeps me on bitcoin, well it is same with all of us... money what else. We all see profit and good way of earning from bitcoin, and that is why we are here Cheesy .
And there is nothing to even prepare and think. Of course, all the answers are an interesting question. You firmly hint that this is nothing more than a means to an end, but our goal is to become rich.
Well we all would like to become rich, don't we? I did not say that money is everything, i simply said the truth, well part of it. After person got rich, it is up to them what will they do after. I know why i would do after i get rich, and if i get rich one day. Some people win lottery, and they are still sad and miserable, not everything is in the money tho.
1006  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: May 19, 2017, 04:37:21 PM
Every Year thousand of thousand people died of cancer and major portion are come from alcohol addiction.
So....

This is a ridiculous statement. Researchers have not yet been able to prove the link between alcohol and cancer beyond doubt. Also, you should remember that ethanol is not a carcinogen. Only when it metabolizes to acetaldehyde, the risk of cancer arises.

There are many people who abuse alcohol, but throughout life they do not have cancer. The research is not entirely accurate, many factors affect the occurrence of cancer.

I am not a big fan of alcoholic drinks. In my family itself, we have lost multiple individuals to alcohol-related illnesses such as liver cirrhosis. But posting wrong information about alcohol is something which I can't support.

I'm sorry for your lost. I don't have a family member who died due to alcohol related illnesses. But still I have stopped drinking alcohol for more than a year now. I totally quit because I don't like the effect anymore. And because my doctor had advised me for the reason that it cause some reaction on my stomach. I just drink like 1 or 2 bottles of beer if their is some celebration like birthday. I just drink just to socialized but I limit to 2 bottles only.
That is admirable, it is good to heard that there are people who start doing the right thing instead of keeping doing wrong one. I know few people who did not stop drinking alcohol even after they got warning from doctor or from there body. It is sad to see that, i do not know why people chose to do bad things even when they see clearly they are the ones that suffer.
1007  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War 3 on: May 19, 2017, 04:32:56 PM
World war 3 is almost there as you can see russian and other country they don't understand each other they want to become more powerful and then they want to prove something on this earth why they just don't fight each other in one triangle ? Give them gloves and let see whos stronger enough.
Yes that would be fine, if other countries would not join up and fight too. If it was only few strongest counties, even that would be fine, but collateral damage would be too great. Small countries would pay the price too, and not to speak about Earth destruction... I am kinda bored my self about things that happens at the moment in the world, and part of me want to end it even if it is on bad way. But i would rather not to happen at all.
1008  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do You Waste Your Life On The Internet? on: May 19, 2017, 04:25:35 PM
Definitely. I spend almost 8 hours of my day using the internet, in a chair. Playing video games and trying to earn cash to help my familly.
That's why I love Bitcoin. It's a unique chance in the world to become a future millionaire.

How you earn money with playing games ?
Or it is 2 different activity ?
Well he can earn money from playing games, if he is in professional gaming. We all have heard how much some of popular games earn, and i must say that even i was attracted with those numbers. Tried it my self, but it did not work out for me. It requires too much time, for training and stuff like that. But it is not impossible. There are other things that person can do on internet and earn money Cheesy, and that is why im here Tongue .
1009  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: May 19, 2017, 04:20:53 PM
Well you certainly should buy some. How much is up to you. What riak do you want to take. Can you afford to hold for awhile if btc gets dumped? Most people accept that risk here.

Always know you may be holding the bags for awhile. Try doing a few hundreds dollars or btc each month if u wanna minimize risk.
That sound fair enough, doing few hundreds dollars a month is more than enough for me now. And to be honest i could not spare more than that even if i want to. At the moment i do not have founds for more than that, but if i succeed to turn around that money, i could make some really nice profit. I will think a bit more about what you said.
1010  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Evolution is a hoax on: May 19, 2017, 04:14:40 PM
There is no proof of that. hoax or not, it's not important.
I agree with you friend. It does not matter from what we descended. We are what we are, and that is only what is important. Future is what we need to be concerned about, and this moment even more than future. I do not know why, but to some people it is really important to know how we came to this world, maybe it is too me a bit too. But i am ok with not knowing too.
1011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin becoming so god damn slow? on: May 18, 2017, 08:33:03 PM
Hello,

I was under the impression that this new currency was fast, my first payment took 3 days to confirm, was told it was something about the fees, i now have increased my fees and i've waited 2 hours, nothing..
can someone tell me why this payment wont just confirm already?
https://blockchain.info/tx-index/93d43009a1efd4a9fdc4b63e8126599234ac2fb433097095c496445040e6240e

this bitcoin thing is absolutely horrible, the fee is constantly increasing and the delay seems insane, can't be used with trust when payments are days delayed everytime you don't want to spend 10% of the amount you send in fees.
As far as i understand, there is some kind of problem between old way of mining and new way of mining bitcoin. People who mine bitcoin old way do not want to chance to new way, because that would bring them less money. New way of mining is faster, because if i understood right, it use some kind of new way of mining, and that gives faster processing of data, and faster transfer of bitcoin. I hope they will fix that soon, because it can affect bitcoin in bad way.
1012  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: May 18, 2017, 08:30:00 PM
Technology is not always a good thing.

One example is with the children.
In the old days, children used to play outside with their friends.
Now majority of them are just staring at their iPads.

Just because they are on their Ipads doesn't mean they aren't playing with their friends

Children of this generation see the digital world as an extension of the real one, which it is. They connect with others just as much through digital platforms as physically in person.
It is easy for you, as someone who likely developed their ideals before the widespread adoption of the internet, to view technology as separate to real life.

This is the kind of thinking older generations need to let go of.
The digital world is, and will continue to be, an extension of our 'real' world, not an addition to it.
Yes you are right about future and technology. But problem is that, that there are more and more people who tend to trade there real life for imaginary one. And children tend to watch in technology rather than to play with there friends outside. I do not say that is in all cases, but it could evolve in much bigger problem. And not to mention that some people are dependent on some technology, that they do not know how to deal with some things with out it... Technology is future, but some things need to be watched carefully, because it can lead to bigger problems.
1013  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War 3 on: May 18, 2017, 08:25:47 PM
England Said they will use nuclear weapons to its enemies.
Everyone knows the consequences of a nuclear war.

Vote Now!
Do not happen

Peace is beautiful.
 Grin Grin
Yes peace is beautiful, but it is not about peace alone. It is about life, because life is even more beautiful than peace. Why i say life, well when you have war, price for war is life. And there is nothing more important than life. So it would be great if war did not exist. People can find peace always, but to bring back people from death that is impossible.
1014  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: May 18, 2017, 08:22:21 PM
I was thinking, because of Bitcoin price skyrocketed, would it be wise to buy bitcoin now? I have some bitcoin in wallet, but nothing much, and i was thinking to buy some bitcoin more. But because of price rising in last few days i am not sure what to do, because if i buy now, maybe price will go down and ill lose profit, or maybe it will go up and i did not buy so ill lose profit too. What are your thinking on matter and what do you think how much will price of bitcoin rise this year?

With current happenings, I would prefer to invest in ALT rather than bitcoin but at the same time one needs to be careful but if you are looking longterm, then bitcoin is the surest way to go, the reason for that is because has gotten to a point where only major events can affects its price and this major events dont happen every time but with its own embedded risk too. But short term, alt with good potential is your best bet you can imagine.
yes it will divert theattention of the traders, who may think thing of to switch to the Alts rather than sticking to the Bitcoin trading for a short term. Bitcoin has it s value in the market and is more better than any other currency.  so it can be better option for those investing in the long term range. Otherwise todays Bitcoin price may have disappointed many of the traders.
I think you guys are right, it would be wise for me to buy some alt coin for short term profit, because price of bitcoin do not change that much. I have heard that there are some problems with miners and blockchain at the moment, and i am not sure how that will impact bitcoin. But can you suggest me some good alt coin to check out and possibly start trading? Cheesy
1015  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: May 18, 2017, 08:18:25 PM
Well there are always those people who like to create a bit of chaos out there Cheesy . And even if they do not want to create chaos, maybe they get something out of other people selling bit coin, but i do not see what. Because if most of people sell bitcoin, the price would go down, and we all want it to go up Cheesy . I think that those people say that Bitcoin is dead, just to create a bit of panic...

Well to be honest about you question, i must say that there is really good possibility about bitcoin replacing dollar, or maybe many other currency. That is possible, but i think that it wont happen soon, and when i say soon i mean not in another maybe 10-20 years. Bitcoin is easy to use and there are more good sides of bitcoin. But we will see Cheesy .
1018  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: May 17, 2017, 02:38:01 PM
I think this affect mostly the family level of society. People right now are so hooked to their gadgets for social media that they tend to lose what's very important at home, communication. People now don't appreciate that much the importance of having conversation between families and friends because of these new technology.
Gadgets and social networks is not a hindrance to communication. Moreover they are likely to promote this. What prevents you to communicate with your neighbors in the social network or via Skype. And if your friends are in another country? How many times a year you can communicate with them on a normal phone before, but now.
Yes that is good side of technology, and i agree with you, it brought us many good things. Communication across world, possibility to see person on Skype and many more options. That are all good side of technology, but sadly there are bad things that comes with technology too. Some applications are made to be addictive, and it is in interest of company that made them to be used as much as possible. There is the real problem, and in people that would rather live in fantasy world than to confront reality.
1019  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people believe in religion? on: May 17, 2017, 02:33:53 PM
People go to religion not for salvation, in the sense in which the Bible is written, but what they want is natural. But I have already made sure that everyone has his own way to God.

Well said, Not on the part that they do it to feel natural i really cant answer this one anyways. However on the part that people has their own way of having their faith on God.
Now after i have read your answers, one thing came to my mind. Salvation you say... I mean people like I who are not sure what they believe, and are not sure if God exist or not, when you say salvation i am not sure what you mean by that. Salvation from what, life? It is kinda weird to believe that we need salvation from our mortal life. After-life could be salvation for some, but what is purpose of salvation in mortal life... ?
1020  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you smoke weed? on: May 17, 2017, 02:25:27 PM
I never did it and I will not do it. My health is more important to me than a dubious pleasure. I do not want to become a mentally weak person after that
To be honest, this product greatly affects the common sense of the person and the one who smokes cannabis is very much losing memory and this is very often seen with such people. Of course Grass is not a strong drug but its effect on the human body is very strong.
Well as far as i know and understand, there are some good sides of Weed. I mean it helps people deal with pain when doctors can not help, and i know some people who smoke weed in small measures just for relaxation. And i can understand that,  but i do not use it my self, because of my personal opinion. But like everything in life, if you consumed too much it will bring you all kind of problems. I have meet some people who smoke weed too much and they were destroyed by it.
