1021  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The worst part about using cryptocurrencies, Newbies should be more careful. on: February 13, 2020, 04:18:57 PM
The worst part of using crypto is the choices of what you have to use it on. The lack of legitimate games and services after more than a decade of development is shockingly disappointing.
Sincerely speaking, we cannot run away from humans who's intentions are always negative, they tend to always create negative games and services, even in the real world things still look disappointing and later turn to be best. The very best of cryptocurrency will soon surface due to it development.

Additional, checking some transaction fees first before confirming the transaction, because some time of the day there are some time the fee is high.

That's true, a friend of mine had once challenged me about the transaction fees of cryptocurrency, although before then, I was not with the right answer until I read something like this. As for now I do check the transaction fee before executing anything to my detriment, like getting stock with fees.
1022  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The worst part about using cryptocurrencies, Newbies should be more careful. on: February 12, 2020, 09:36:03 PM
The market has started growing up and we are having new friends again,
They will start trooping in like soldiers in the line of duty, the good market entices so many "plastic" bitcoiners into the bitcoin network <...>.

Cheesy you got me laughing @Coyster, you're correct. Many have just been resurrected from the grave just to start the hustling undermining their abscess from the knowledge, these sets will be the target of those scammers to feast on.

You mean, many unbaked bitcoiners are about to wake up to the rising market? What a bad!.
1023  Other / Beginners & Help / The worst part about using cryptocurrencies, Newbies should be more careful. on: February 12, 2020, 01:56:01 PM
The market has started growing up and we are having new friends again, it's imperative to bring to their notice that; having a piece of background knowledge about the good side of cryptocurrency and bad side equally. During my early days, I suffered many losses in the process and while trying to make some transactions. My then app wallet was mistakenly installed which holds some altcoins and a small portion of Bitcoin. Attempt to get my wallet back proof abortive, at a time, my system was compromised and I paid heavily with my Bitcoin.

Therefore, my advice to all newbies is: ensure to write down your password for every account or app you install securely. Keep your private keys safe and secure. Also, passphrase or backups should be noted. When carrying out the transaction, ensure to double-check your outgoing address before sending it.

Cryptocurrency mistakes can be unforgiven when one makes a mistake, it happened to me in my early days in cryptocurrency.
1024  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Fake Chainlink airdrop. they will steal your wallet's private key. on: February 12, 2020, 01:23:16 PM
@Upgrade00 many will still fall victim to this scam. In my early days I couldn't understand the difference between private and public keys, so, I was scammed Ethereum worth of $700 two years ago. Upgrade00, you are a good knowledgeable individual on the forum but should know that newbies are equally here and should be caution concerning these svams. Although, many of these newbies will still not learn due to the human nature called Ojukokoro.

@Coolcryptovator you correct because we have to bring to their notice these repeatedly ways scammer used and still using. The problem with these newbies in cryptocurrency communities is, they aren't ready to learn, most of them never care to research into what they fell in love with but rather want get rich quick symptoms.
1025  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 7 Things to Know to Become a Successful Crypto Trader on: February 10, 2020, 09:21:48 PM
Be in control of your emotion: many have been dealt with because of their inability to have full control over their emotions during trade. Traders with such actions usually and up in lost, and they will tag their loose on market volatility. Emotions shouldn't be allow to come into play during trade because of it effect on traders.
1026  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm a full-time crypto trader. Here're my recent trades & answers to questions on: February 10, 2020, 09:01:05 PM
Trading for me has not been very good because whenever i try it, the end result is loss, once you get to emotional into trading you start making mistakes without having an exit plan and with the volatile market this could end up in chasing losses instead, so i intend to read more and watch how the expert do it.
Also could you share your strategy when the price is trading between support and resistance ? how do you deal with uncertainty ?

What you really need to succeed in trading is to work on your emotion as this will not only affects your trading crypto currency strategy but it may equally affect your investment decision some time if not managed.
Stability of mindset while carryout trade matters a lot and stand the beginning of unwavering profit. Many times I rejected trade because of instability of mindset, so, you're right and on point. Success in trade is a product of right mindset|emotion.
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 most hilarious ICOs ever on: February 10, 2020, 08:43:37 PM
Grin Catholic coin was one of my hilarious ICO I have ever seen and participated, this coin was calculated for Christian and was tag with Catholic. Most people welcome the ICO and made investment with them  because of sentiment of being a Christian. I was one among them who did and lost all my investment in the process. Sentiment was the reason why I lost my investment.
1028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance to help Coronavirus victims on: February 10, 2020, 08:06:46 PM
This is one of the reason why binance is top rated. I wish everyone can do this to save life. This is a real life application of cryotocurrency funds to human safety .

That's the point, what Binance did was a great move towards providing help to those in critical situation in life. This was how life should be, saving a life with cryptocurrency could easily drive adoption globally. Others  should emulate what binance did to bring a good name to community of cryptocurrency.

USA government should emulate what binance did with their $39m Bitcoin auction coming 18th Feb, 2020. Let's learn how to preach good with cryptocurrency.

1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this time to Sell altcoins before BTC Halving on: February 09, 2020, 10:34:41 AM
Frankly speaking, the upcoming even has happened and things have been seen. I wouldn't advise that one should sell off his or her portfolios because, the main bullish trend for altcoins will be immediately after Bitcoin halve. Although sometimes ago, altcoins and bitcoin always perform well after the event, so, we should study the market before engage in selloffs.

Currently am still holding some of my altcoins in the waet because of this upcoming event that's taking place May, 2020. For those thinking of buying Bitcoin or altcoins should do that before it's over, we  are still in the dip.
1031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $39 Million Worth of BTC Will Be Auctioned Off by US Government on: February 09, 2020, 08:13:28 AM
<~~~.>
<~~~.>

I would suggest that, they redistribute this Bitcoin to the community or to help the less privilege. This can also be use to support China against the fight of CoronaVirus.
bitcoin is a currency not a charity to be distributed for free among any groups of people. you as an individual are free to use your own bitcoins however you like though.

€, ¥, £, $, # are currency's. $Dollar is a currency, yet used and still be use to give arms to countries by United State Government to other countries in their trial times, in this case China which are currently facing a bigger challenge in fighting CoronaVirus should be seen. Am not disputing that fact that; Bitcoin should be use for charity, but, when necessary it should. This singular act could trigger a global adoption.
1032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / $39 Million Worth of BTC Will Be Auctioned Off by US Government on: February 08, 2020, 10:18:34 PM
The united State Government is about to release $39m bitcoin worth for auction to individual who win the bid. According to the news; these bitcoin  were the ones seized from cryptocurrencies scammers around the industry and with those who were indicated of fraud. Here is my concern:

What you don't like, you don't need to eat.

Another concern; will this going to bring down the current bullish of Bitcoin if executed?

I would suggest that, they redistribute this Bitcoin to the community or to help the less privilege. This can also be use to support China against the fight of CoronaVirus.

“The USMS will notify the winning bidder(s) via email with instructions for the next step to complete their transaction the same day as the auction, even after 5:00 PM EST. The winning bidder must send the purchase price funds (less the deposit amount) by a wire transfer originating from a bank located within the United States and provide a wire transmittal receipt to the USMS by 2:00 PM EST, on Wednesday, February 19, 2020.”

1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum versus EOS January, 2020 on: February 08, 2020, 09:06:17 PM
What an sure about the ethereum is, their coming upgrade will dethrone many issues they had for years and take a new face after the upgrade. Just learnt that, issues with PoW will be gone when PoS starts. EOS, hasn't grown to such extent to top the ethereum even though it surpass ethereum in January, 2020 by it volume.
1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: p2pb2b exchange top 1? on: February 08, 2020, 08:59:58 PM
I think p2pb2b is a good exchange so far. Apart from fake volume, all exchanges have done this. Maybe this fake volume is also a means of marketing their exchanges so that many traders come to make transactions there. the more traders, the more their income. Just don't be a scam exchange.

For any exchange to be so cruel to fake volume just to attract more investors is a scam exchange and should be condemned. Seeing what the exchange have done by faking volume, mean that they can scam potential investors off their coins. Why would you fake volume just to be recognize? Having a good team with good exchange don't need faking things around the exchange.
1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Right Time to buy Some ALT coins? on: February 08, 2020, 02:41:42 PM
I would say until mid-march you can trade crypto, but sell them before April, as bitcoin halving is in April and bitcoin is going to pump. And its trend when there is a pump in BTC other crypto values drops.

It won't be a bad idea to buy some altcoins and keep or to buy for trade. Am currently buying altcoins coins for trade and am happy doing that with some few sats. Traders with little knowledge will be those who will wait for the Bitcoin halve before they start trade. Buying altcoins at this time will definitely yields more profit ahead of the big event May, 2020.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 delays thread on: February 08, 2020, 08:21:52 AM
Its already a failure, 2.0 was suppose to happen at beginning of 2018, well that was the promise at launch time

Not a failure, taking a closer look at the whole issue seems to me that, failure isn't already set in, as you have assumed. What I assumed was the cause of the delay was because of the testnet and this was a cogent reason from the developers. Delay are important when we talk about building in existing project because of it security. The worst thing will be; upgrading your project with security flaws accompany the upgrade.
1037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Was Ripple the cause of this bullish trend? What do you think? on: February 07, 2020, 08:21:44 PM
Ripple has potential and it can surely grow higher in few months time but presently I refuse to accept that Ripple is behind this present bullrun, Ripple hasn't grown profit like BCH and ETH did, its growth since few days ago is very low compare to other coins

What? That ripple growths few say days ago is low? Well, I don't know where you take your opinion from. The beginning of this month was as good in ripple, I did many trades from my side and, i was able to grab my fortune form using ripple to trade. Ripple has invited many companies and try to bring them into the cryptocurrency sphere to boost global adoption.
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun had a dinner with Warren Buffet! on: February 07, 2020, 02:35:34 PM
<~~~~>
EDIT: This is what we have currently:

https://twitter.com/justinsuntron/status/1225441510868602880

This has said it all, they actually meant but, maybe they had discussion about his Tron project and not because of Bitcoin. Justin has done many harm than we can assume, he stand with double standard when it come to Bitcoin.

Btw this photo can be fake, because Sun didn't make an announcement, that he is going to announce when exactly he is having that dinner.

If the picture is fake then, the Twitter from his handle won't be fake right? What you're seeing is a real picture of the dinner.

And did I see it correct, only 100 bucks tips only? Better could have left TRX, as it made +8.85% last 24h.

You could hold, it all depends on individual.....
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Was Ripple the cause of this bullish trend? What do you think? on: February 07, 2020, 09:46:28 AM
If ripple is responsible for this present bullish thread why haven't ripple skyrocket yet?

Taking a practical look at ripple move, you will observe that, ripple have moved far from what we used to know about it move before. If ripple is dangling with with just 40% and on of a sudden it plot into 105%, what will be your conclusion? That its hasn't seen a bull?

Quote
why still around 0.23$? it should be the one taking the lead right now, where other altcoins like BitcoinCash and ETH are making XRP looks stupid, I think bitcoin halving is responsible not ripple

Take a closer look at the current price of ripple and others you have just made mentioned to see their percentage of increase, then you will know who us taking the leading!!!!.

1040  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: February 07, 2020, 06:13:22 AM
I don't agree with you on the ground that apart from Bitcoin all others are shitcoin. In as much as I strongly believe in Bitcoin I also do believe in coin like ethereum and I don't think it will right for anyone to refer to ethereum as a shitcoin. Although, you were not specific about ethereum.

Practically, you are right because today's market has an answer to this. There are many surge and the most are from the altcoins that we never believed to be called coins. Trading has made me to adopt a method that has potential to handle risk, I mean potential risk. Whenever I trade with altcoins, I usually pick my profit at 2-4%. This is how I possibly minimize my risk.
With the risk present in Bitcoin and the unpredictable volatility movement makes it more hard to earn a profit, what more with the altcoins?  So it is really important to minimize the risk as much as possible there is a chance to get that profit. Whatever convenience you find just to minimize the risk, just take it and you will be grateful of what you choose even if it isn't enough.

Since the bull run started, the profit desired by any trader who can be realizable only if the trader can stick to 2 - 4%. Just for your information, four days ago I made a good profit from livecoin.net with GUIDE tokens, most problems we traders had or have is greediness to take profit. Altcoins have good profits if you can research into a token before heading  for purchase, trading like gambling cannot yield any useful results for any trader.
