1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: November 14, 2016, 02:37:20 PM
Assuming that we have a provably fair games expectation that is, the predicted future gain or loss is with Casinos or Bet Sites. As an example is the known freebitco.in. Bet say 1 satoshi and look that the probability to earn your money that is 1 satoshi is 47,5% and to lose is 52,5%. So there is a margin 5% between you and this site. Furthermore, look at   www.satoshidice.com if you bet 0.000001 the probability to win same amount is 49.048% and so on. All of them apply different strategies to attract their customers. Moreover looking  at Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambling_mathematics  read this and you will understand that there are no people  be rich from gambling.

1044  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: November 14, 2016, 06:38:08 AM
We are very far from the time where people will accept the digital currency and will abolish paper money. That is, when people started use paper money didn't stop to hold their gold coins.

Need created money cryptocurrencies. Such us fiat money created to satisfy human needs. Before money, transactions between people and between countries  were made with the exchange of products so as to meet the needs of all and to have self-sufficiency in goods. So, financial  needs the centralized monetary system could not cover made humans to think that they need another way to trade with each other. And like other currency systems has pros and cons such us cryptocurrency has their own strength and weakness.

1047  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Faucebox is closing on: November 12, 2016, 03:29:13 PM
Taking into consideration that faucetbox closing I would like to ask if anybody knows, users had reached their threshold will take their coins. I had reached threshold 5 days ago but coins had not sent to my wallet. Faucebox says 'Your coins will be sent to you in up to 48 hours after you reach the threshold'. I read their announcement and I sent them an email. I know that they have bigger problems than my own so I ask if there are other users in the same situation as me know something about it.

We had some problems with bitcoind daemon. We fixed it today (I hope) and you should get your coins with next batch of transactions.

Thank you for your immediate answer

1049  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: PaidBooks faucet does not pay anymore? on: November 10, 2016, 09:27:12 AM
I think you should've make a withdraw before monday to claim your balance on monday after that monday.

There is not automated withdraw. If you read the faq in this faucet  http://www.paidbooks.com/faq  says "You will see a notice on the top of the screen when you are over 20,00 satoshi asking you to confirm your withdrawal by email. Please use a real email address - you NEED to confirm this as it helps us fight fraud. ". I say  that there isn't any kind of notice when I reached more than 20,000 satoshi.

I made more than 22,000 Satoshis after Mon 11/7/2016 as FAQ of this site says http://www.paidbooks.com/faq but doesn't pay.

Does anyone knows anything about this faucet?

You can contact owner https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=361306 he was active today. But you should also read that FAQ you gave us, you said you made 22000 satoshi after Monday, and payout is on Monday:

Quote
We pay out every Monday to your bitcoin wallet. We pay out ALL balances over 20,000 satoshi. You will see a notice on the top of the screen when you are over 20,00 satoshi asking you to confirm your withdrawal by email. Please use a real email address - you NEED to confirm this as it helps us fight fraud.

They are By bitcoin aliens so i am guessing they still Pay maybe email their support or the facebook page

I sent them an email 5 days ago at support@bitcoinaliens.com, the only one I found in bitcoins alien page, and I sent them a printscreen with my account  but no one has answered me yet.
So I wonder if it is still a reliable faucet?
