The orders are now being sucked up by people who "buy" and dont pay, rather sell their accounts.  Super easy to lock in a ton of units, sell your accounts and the rest that dont get bought, let expire.....this is whats happening and why they are getting sold out so quick... Undecided
It sure seems like it because they are now giving 7 days to pay by Wire transfer. This gives crafty people a nice long window to get in the middle with a free option to broker the machines. If they are unsuccessful they just let the orders expire. I don't like it but I sure can't blame them. Unfortunately they will probably ruin it for legitimate buyers.

They have already been bought out. Shocked

Just so I can beat myself up...was it really 1 1/2hrs or less than that?

Trying to tell from posts but I'm on DST etc and others don't do such...so hell they may have

sold out NOT in 1 1/2hrs but 1/2 hr?

curious

It was between 20-30 minutes.....for LATE OCTOBER delivery!!   Below is the LTC rundown at 1m Diff. in October which I can promise you it will be. Switching pools won't be a ton better as they will be saturated. $1,700.00 to make $276.00 p/m?Huh Effing stupid.

Monthly  7.32672286  0.11458995  $316.49  $40.32  $0.00  $276.17

If Litecoin increases its price, perhaps the L3 is interesting  Roll Eyes
The difficulty of the hash rate is increasing at a far faster pace. It is easily negating the value of the increase in the coin. The larger release of the units hasn't even hit the pools yet. LTC profitability is down almost 50% already from the stated highs. That will get much much worse.

But it's a TON higher than it was up to the bit price runup, despite the recent hashrate/diff jumps.

I came VERY close to shutting down my A2 units late last winter because they were very marginal on profitability DESPITE my low electric cost, and I was contemplating adding "more efficient" rigs in their place.
Right now, they're bloody near my MOST profitable current rigs (though keep in mind I don't build riser-GPU rigs so all my GPU rigs are 3-card).

They also cost me ballpark HALF what most of my recent GPU rigs have cost me, and are long since paid off....

X11 total network hashrate IIRC is quite a bit lower as a "number of D3 units" basis than Scrypt is on a "number of L3+ or A4 units" basis - it'll probably be longer before Scrypt profitability drops to "last year" levels for an L3+ then it will be for a D3, especially with *3* folks making big X11 units now (and who knows what Baikal will come up with to replace their current chip with).

One kicker in the deck - BW.COM and their Scrypt miner, which is CLAIMED to be 28nm therefore quite a bit cheaper to design and make than 14/16nm that the L3+ and A4 seems to be based on, AND a lot easier to get chips for.
If BW.COM starts making and/or selling a serious number of THOSE miners, all bets are off.

Scary part - it's specs are better than the A4 and VERY CLOSE on efficiency AND hashrate to the L3+.
Perhaps THIS unit is why Bitmain cut L3+ pricing?

On the other hand, BW.COM had announced plans at one point to sell their Bitcoin miners, then ended up either not doing so or ONLY selling them in bulk to large farms.....

My question is why even delay shipment of D3 till September why not just start shipping now? I highly doubt that products are not completely built so what really is holding back the shipping of them?

They probably started sales after their first pre-production run to make sure their chip design was good and so that they could advertise accurate values. Once confirmed, they setup the sale to customers for batch 1/2 and sent the final order to the production foundry. A 2-month turn-around from the foundry is actually pretty impressive considering how small Bitmain is compared to the others who are ramping up their production at the same foundries (Apple, for example).

Youre completely wrong.
Bitmain is mining with this D3s right now and making a decent profit for next 2 month...
I can show it on L3+ example and their HW dates, but dont have time to write an article right now.
No Need for the article. It's common sense. 1) look at the ramp up in difficulty even before they are shipped. 2) They have the best of both worlds. Mine the shit out of it with massive profitability, then sell them like hotcakes to naïve foreigners with candy apple dreams at a fat margin. Who wouldn't do that!?!?

their internal mining schedule for built units is in the 1-6 month range, depending on the market. If you think you're getting money-printing machines right off the production line, you're naive.

I fail to see the intrinsic value of something that's only reason for existing, is to assuage some group of clown's ego's. Unless of course you're a proponent of an 8mb Block with 7mb's of spam in it. BCC is a fart in the wind.

Difficulty will reach 10M really fast. However price won't go below 100$.

A realistic calculation would be with difficulties:

2M for Sept
6M in October
9M in November

Price between 150-230$us

I see....you're so good you can guarantee us that "price won't go below $100.00". That's just ridiculous. I agree with your calculations on difficulty. It's pure hubris to make definitive claims about the price of the asset. Any asset.

Mary NIU.                                                                                Today at 08:10

At 23:59 hours of 31st of July 2017, we are going to be deploying 100 new Antminer S9 and 100 Antminer L3+ to cushion any unforeseen market instability that comes with the impending Bitcoin fork. The deployed 100 Antminer S9 and 100 Antminer L3+ miners will be removed from the network, decommissioned and auctioned off at a discount from 00:01 hours of the 4th of august 2017.

Cost:
Antminer S9 (including its PSU): 22 LTC
Antminer L3+ (including its PSU): 25 LTC

Sorry, you may not know my name. I am Andy NIU and am the CTO technical services at Bitmain. It's not mandatory that you buy actually. We have received payment for a total of 110 miners so far and have tagged the respective miners with the addresses of the buyers for dispatch on the 4th of August.
Fucking scammer. Suck it.

Can please anyone tell me, why people buy D3, if there is A5?

Price...you can get 3 D3's for 300 bucks over 10k of 45gh

an A5 you can get 30gh for 10k I think their price is

my 2nd batch (ONE) D3 I got will arrive between Sept 18th and the 28th

A5 will arrive around the end of that month as well....

I myself think with the giant and I mean giant slam up in X11 difficulty...my miner will likely do the old 12-14 month ROI

in the 'plateau' after this full tidal wave of difficulty 'crashes thru' into December.

If it does better than that ...cool...but my expectations are very Modest.

Again this was on the 2nd batch D3 units at (again only got the ONE for above reasons on difficulty) as to a D3 offered to say

to hit the world middle of October after the A5's hit...er....not going there.

anyway, chump or champ we will know by end of December if any of this X11 stuff made any sense Smiley

(crypto: always drama) Smiley

I just made a spread sheet with various difficulty levels versus underlying coin price. My "worst case " for DASH is; 3m difficulty with DASH price at $50.00 and  .10Kw electricity. =$2,867.00 revenue per year. So that's your 1 year ROI/breakeven. Pretty ugly scenario to say the least but overall encouraging.

3m diff is a conservative guess IMO, I think it will be higher than this, sooner than you think Tongue
Yes I do too. If price remains high I use 10m in my calculations. I'm using 3m at a $50.00 DASH coin price. That would be a pretty nasty crash from $179.00.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: July 31, 2017, 01:59:28 PM
Yeah I think Searing is a bit pessimistic :p
Actually I tend to agree with his worst case scenario and I have no problem seeing DASH difficulty at 3m with a potential coin price of $50.00. If that does happen, it will not likely be overnight. It will take time and I feel strongly that you will pay off your hardware before this nightmare becomes reality.

Look at this chart https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/#dominance-percentage it says that from February 21 up to June 17 Bitcoin market share has dropped from 87% to 38! Doesn't it bother you people at all? That's why price went down to 1700$, PEOPLE STOPPED USING BITCOIN, because of the lack of credibility- namely slow transactions and high as fuck fees. After that price returned to ~2700$ ONLY because of speculations around Segwit2x. It's the only reason, bBitcoin  is dying and u all know it.
You know nothing about free markets OR supply and demand. If I were you, I'd stay  away from any type of "investing" or "trading". You seem best suited to collecting aluminum cans by the roadside.
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: July 30, 2017, 03:11:02 PM
I've ordered mine 3 weeks ago, paid bank transfer, and my order is still not confirmed - shows as "paying/valid"
Contacted Bitmain twice, first answer was to read FAQ, second is still not replied.
So I have £6000 gone from my bank account and no assurance what is going on.
How long you guys had to wait until order is processed if paid by bank transfer?
I went through this on my first order. DO NOT WORRY. International wire transfers are slower than anything on earth. The Chinese bank has the funds and until Bitmain picks those funds from the "intermediary bank" and credits it to their own, they do not recognize the payment. I put myself through all kinds of Hell because was not aware of this. Bitmain gets SO many of these requests they just largely ignore them because there is nothing they can do until they see the money on their computer screen. It took 28 days for mine!! I know it's scary but I promise you, you are ok. They are  not ripping you off. Once they see the money in their system, they'll update your order status.

Thanks Ben, I'm just hopping they reserved several antminers, for my order, when I ordered they were still selling them for more than a week, and now they are sold out.
Not to worry. They keep making them. They will not run out. The down times when they are on  "back or pre-order" is just the break they take while making more inventory. These boys are on a ROLL!

Hello !

Is anybody have already buy a Antminer on Alibaba ?

There is a lot of Antminer L3+ to buy, and some D3 also

Do you think is there risk to make an order there ? (i live in Europe)

I saw Bitmain D3 for sale on E-bay for 3..4 times the price compared to Bitman (ask & demand)
What is the price on alibaba (on average)?
Do not fall for this. People were buying the L3+ on amazon for $6,000.00 a month ago, because they saw the profit was showing at $1500.00 USD per unit, per month. They did not take into account the reality that once those units hit the network the units would drop in their production due to difficulty rising. Now those people will take 10-12 months to pay off that $6,000.00 machine. The very same will happen to the D3, only worse, because there are so many going to flood the network. DO NOT BUY MACHINES AFTERMARKET AT HUGE MARK UPS!! The only one who will make money on that is the bastard that sold it to you.

Hello anyone has received shipped email from Bimain for the L3+ batch 20-30 July? Today is the last business day and it is supposed to ship already. I emailed them 2 days ago but their support is quite slow this time. I thought maybe they acrually shipped but has not marked the order as shipped, but if you guys have any information, please share it to me. Thank you so much.

Yes, we had multiple batches from the July 15th and July 20-31 batches. Our first July 20-31 batch arrived last week and we just received shipping details this morning for our last July 20-31 batch. Our recorded date of purchase shown on the Bitmain order was May 15th.

You got to be kidding me  Angry

I got nothing and I ordered between 8-12 May....  WTF I knew they would be fucking me again

When you order doesnt really matter, its all about when your payment get confirmed.
Let me guess, you paid with bank wire? Tongue

please thats not my first rodeo.... Of course did i use BTC... thats the reason I am so goddamn pissed about it
