1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: June 26, 2022, 03:14:02 AM
LOL! I really thought that this is some kind of Gambling personality test where you need to answer numerous questions regarding the your different behaviour in different circumstances.

But yeah, I think it would be more fun to read if you are given some questions and the result will vary depending on your answer -- just like this one[1]. Not only you are given insight about what type of gambler you are but you will also learn how your personality is correlated with your gambling behaviour.

Voted for Conservative!

Those are some of the questions that always draw me back from participating in airdrop or bounties, the team always finds it hard to verify participants, and at that many fake accounts get access and absorbed the rewards leaving other legitimate participants will be left with nothing.
...
In light of the previous issues that occur during the bounty campaign, are you saying that I shouldn't take part in the airdrop?

I raise this question because I find the information to be lacking and because it differs significantly from all other airdrops in which I have taken part, which required a minimum amount of stake or points to be qualified for the airdrop.

But if the airdrop is distributed at random, it isn't an airdrop; rather, it is a "free random giveaway" with conditions.
1063  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Auto DCA service? timing exchange on: June 24, 2022, 01:44:29 PM

I will look at the code, but it will be nicer if you develop it for the rest of the platforms that are not KYC strict, such as OKX and Kucoin.
Hey! I didn't make it!

I'm just recommending it to you because I think it's a good resource, especially for someone like me who is learning to code with Javascript. Plus, it will help me practice and apply the concept I've learned throughout the course.

I only have a basic understanding of algorithms, therefore I'm still not heavily involved in some of the technical aspects of this bot..
1064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Auto DCA service? timing exchange on: June 24, 2022, 12:19:48 PM
Coinbase have also similar function.

And as far as I know you can also have a binance bot that will automate dca for you. Personally, I am planning to create a bot for this to serve as practice in learning JS using this as a reference[1] -- check that out.

1065  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Casinos Vs Ethereum Casinos on: June 24, 2022, 09:23:50 AM
Most of the casino on Ethereumis already die
Maybe? But looking at the dappradar[1], OwlDao is the only ETH gambling platform that I know of who also exist in bitcointalk -- probably worth noting. But yeah, most casino on the list are not so popular.

Also, just wanted to clarify some misconception that a gambling platform that allows the deposit and withdrawal of ETH doesn't necessarily mean it is built on top of ETH blockchain -- don't get confused.

1066  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difference Between Bitcoin and Crypto currency on: June 23, 2022, 12:30:37 PM
bitcoin is a subset of the broader term "cryptocurrency," which also includes other coins, known as "altcoins," where the majority of which are outright frauds and vapourware projects with little to no practical application.

Plus bitcoin is a multifaceted tool in which every walks of life have their own use-cases. Take for example a programmer where he probably sees bitcoin as "append-only" database, or for a libertarian who sees bitcoin as an escape from the government's monopoly on money and so and forth..
1067  Other / Meta / Re: [SUGGESTION] A Confirmation POP-UP Message Before Publishing A Post on: June 23, 2022, 11:44:42 AM
Use an open source note-taking app with a rich text editor, like Joplin[1], as an option if you are writing lengthy narrative posts. Although some editing features are lacking, I believe it is sufficient to write a draft for the entire post without you having to worry that the text will be lost --  thanks to its sync capability.

Also, formatting the whole text is the last phase of creating a post isn't it? Plus, the "Preview" button can only do so much until it runs out.

Here's a little bit more information about our Mega Airdrop on CoinMarketCap
https://coinmarketcap.com/gravity/articles/30365
Questions..

- How do Owl.games select those eligible airdrop participants by simply completing the tasks required?
- How about the receiving address?
- Is there any parameters or points to reach for a person to be eligible?

Interestingly, this will be the first airdrop I will be participating since I stopped doing bounty campaigns...  Grin Thank you very much!
1069  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which crypto sportbooks are VPN friendly on: June 23, 2022, 03:16:50 AM
@Illsabio
In my country unfortunately a lot of the crypto sportbooks are blocked
It is because your country is restricted to operate a gambling site; even if they blatantly advertise on their platform that using VPN is allowed, it doesn't mean that you are completely allowed to use it without expecting any repercussions. Similar to what other members have said, these repercussions could something be related to withdrawal issues or your funds being hostage.

If I were you, your best option would be to find an alternative platform that is legal to operate in your country. Afterwhich, if you still like using VPN for privacy reasons, then I highly encouraged you to contact their support and ask for permission to avoid your funds being hostage or your account getting banned/locked. Again, practice reading their T&C whether you like it or not.

Try checking this out for the list of casinos..

1070  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every "Bitcoin is Dead Headline" is a Buying Opportunity on: June 22, 2022, 11:50:20 AM
My thoughts as well.

I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion, but I am hoping that bitcoin dumps a bit more in price for a longer period of time so I can stack as much as possible amount of sats thru freelancing and signature campaign.

Also, there is an obituary of bitcoin post saying "bITC0iN iS dEaD" -- if you don't mind me sharing HAHA..

1071  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Platform for Average Dollar Cost on: June 22, 2022, 08:00:01 AM
I don't know what platform you are talking about but I usually use dcabtc[1] to give me some stats/ visuals when using DCA strategy. Do note that I am also doing DCA strategy for years manually.

Edit: Personally, the best method depends on your preferred timeframe for stacking as well as your income/resources you have to consistently bag some stash.
1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on transgender only events? on: June 22, 2022, 06:05:27 AM
So you think that the bookies would allow bets about sports events, where transgender women are competing against biological women?
...
I think what he meant is the title of the thread.

If it's transgender-only sports, then I think it would be fine because personally, it is another form of entertainment without having to consider which participant is in handicap. Regardless of their philosophical bullshits, or any other science-based research, I am certain that there will still be issues and will just result in neverending debate.

Is this a solution? Of course not! Even if you say that they are all trans, governing bodies should still impose rules in terms of their body measurements or even perhaps genetics?
1073  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 22, 2022, 05:38:39 AM
Submitting an artwork created by your loved ones is permitted. If you are still in doubt, one example is the artwork of LoyceV's daughter[1] submitted in Roobet's Art Contest held in August 2020. You might as well sign a message[2] to prove that the artwork is authentic. It is optional but still highly recommended though..

1075  Other / Meta / Re: [INFO]Gambling Board Spams; Concerns, Solutions & Suggestions on: June 21, 2022, 02:09:04 PM
What about those ANN threads on the "Gambling" board where KYC is discussed incessantly? I mean it is okay when someone new to that platform asks about KYC, in which two or three responses are adequate to answer the question. However, that is not the case, as it is evident that people are simply recycling their replies for the sake of increasing their post count.

Not only it pollutes the entire section but it also affects that specific gambling platform negatively.

Most of my reported cases went unhandled, not because they were bad reports, but because they never got to the mod or the mod decided to ignore them. It is difficult to report when the end result is ¹/⁴.
I also have unhandled cases but I am not certain if its coming from Gambling section. Hopefully, I can reach the required number of reports so I can see some stats...
1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adobe Creative Cloud used for NFT development on: June 21, 2022, 11:56:59 AM
Ah yes!! NFT in a nutshell.

Honestly, it's pretty cool to see that these large enterprises are able to come with something related to NFT giving the artist some credits for their hardwork, at least in blockchain. However, I am pretty sure that this function can't be accessed to an Adobe products bought in greymarket, no?

Also, if this beta have been successfully integrated in Photoshop, it won't be surprising that they will do this for Premiere and Illustrator too!
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops vs Bounties on: June 21, 2022, 05:40:14 AM
You are better off joining art contest designs that can be found in the Services[1] section of the forum. Not only you will be given a chance to earn a great amount of cash money, but you are also enhancing your creativity skills which you can monetize from this point forward.

ICO bounties and airdrop are long gone. But if you found a decent one, I am pretty sure that the amount of money you will get will not equally compensate for the amount of time you have invested in.

1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Most Expensive Thing Bought with Winnings from the Casino or Sport Bet on: June 21, 2022, 05:12:07 AM
It is not the most expensive item but this is the only gift I bought for myself when I won a few hundred bucks playing dice at an old casino I previously advertised on my signature.

This is the second In-ear monitor I own called TFZ t2 which I mainly used for listening to EDM or any other bass-boosted music. Well, listening to music while playing dice is a pretty different experience.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on How to Manage Gambling Addiction an Open Discussion. on: June 21, 2022, 04:41:01 AM
I haven't been in the gambling industry for long, nor am I a gambling addict, but aside from these suggestions, I believe playing video games is an excellent way to overcome gambling addiction.

I mean, games that can be played on a console can still provide the same level of enjoyment as casino games. This way, you can continue to enjoy it without compromising your finances. It is likely an unpopular perspective, but I am certain that it will help in the slow treatment for gambling concerns.
