Are you paying in bitcoin?
1062  Other / Meta / Re: Twice that my post has gone missing. on: September 24, 2020, 08:39:53 AM
They were reported as off topic. Not sure what the threads were about as they've been deleted rather than trashcanned.

BTW, I'm still looking to find out who the user PLSbre here is if they can PM me if they see this. Sent them another message about it on there but I'm not sure how well you get notified of messages on Superburu so they might not see it. Hopefully they'll see this here.
When you say sent another message what exactly do you mean? For testing purposes I just sent you something called Brumail on Superbru. I guess you should get it on the mail you registered with Superbru. Did you do that or there is some other way to send message as well? If you did something else send a test one to me and I will let you know how visible it is.

Yeah, on the 'brumail' via their site. Thanks. It seems you get both a notification on the site and a message to your registered email:

So they should see it assuming they're checking the site or their emails.

Bump

This thread doesn't need to be bumped now. I doubt we'll get any new sign-ups so it's best to just continue with the discussion thread and let this one die off as I said above.

.

Edit: No one picked Brighton and in 10 minutes they have scored two goals LOL

Just goes to show you how unpredictable football can be, but maybe they'll manage to crawl back before the end.

I use magic to predict fixed games

For details in email: tatbiq987654321@gmail.com

Probably has the same success rate as all the other fraudsters claiming they have info on fixed games.

Pot is at 0.35564980 with 0.1 for first place with many more prizes to be won and a free Watford shirt so it's a steal either way.

So is it sure that we gonna get Watford shirt? No possibility of Southampton new shirts?

It was the Watford shirt last time I spoke to them but nothing has been confirmed yet and maybe things will change now they've sponsored Southampton. I will keep everyone updated when I get any info.

1069  Other / Meta / Re: ban appeal topic on: September 17, 2020, 02:08:33 PM
I didn't issue it but it's for seven days and it states on the ban what it's for: Multiple sales thread ( 7 days ).

It'll expire in 3 days as well.
1070  Other / Meta / Re: What is exactly the functionality of "Report to moderator"? on: September 17, 2020, 09:56:08 AM
However, the bad one appears also with strikethrough font and, very interesting, it has also been deleted. Is it possible that the mod which analyzed this particular post by mistake flagged it as bad instead of good, considering that the post was deleted after the report and that it appears now with strikethrough font Huh

If a post is handled then the report cannot be changed after that other than by an admin, so one mod could mark it as handled or bad and another mod could then remove the post but the originally handling of it won't change. It's possible a mod made a mistake or maybe even the user removed that post (probably less likely though). Either way I wouldn't worry about one report.

This thread will probably die off pretty fast. It's just for sign-ups really so it's best to stick to the discussion thread.

Would you mind porting over the prizes and all of that info to the other thread?

Also, (I didn't stay in the loop) I just saw OP about a free shirt, what's the logistics of that?  Grin

Sportsbet are amazing and doing everything the right way in terms of marketing, holy hell that all expense paid trip to watch a game - fantastic!

Will do. There's still a few people who need to pay so I'll wait till those are in so I can work out the prizes fully as we took in a little more than expected so some of the prizes can go up a little. As for the shirt, the details are still being worked on but everyone should get a shirt if they want one. Not sure whether it'll be the new or old Watford shirt but I'll keep everyone posted.

I still think the Press section should be locked/archived... or at the very least we clarify that only notable sources are allowed which should mean no crytpo-based sites.

Best of luck this season y'all! Just posting to get this thread on my list.

This thread will probably die off pretty fast. It's just for sign-ups really so it's best to stick to the discussion thread.

If anyone wants to still sign up though you've only missed seven games which isn't a big deal. If you're already on superbru you can carry you picks over from another league if you've already made them.

Maybe they're just really strict about copyright or pictures of people who obviously aren't you (unless you are really Marouane Fellaini  Grin). They accepted mine no problems though.
1075  Other / Meta / Re: Self Moderated thread All Posts Deleted on: September 13, 2020, 09:28:21 AM
The only thing I could think of that could be changed is that posts after x amount of time aren't allowed to be removed to stop people just having a fit at a later date and deleting posts from a year ago
That takes away the legit use of cleaning up a topic to make it easier to read, like Lauda did here.

I'm not saying it should be done, just a possibility, but you could set it for a year or whatever. If people wanted to keep threads clean they should probably be more on top of it than doing it once a year.
1076  Other / Meta / Re: Self Moderated thread All Posts Deleted on: September 13, 2020, 07:48:49 AM
That's the peril of posting in a self—moderated topic; they can remove posts at anytime for any reason. It's annoying but there's no rule against it.
Mind asking? Do you think there will be some modifications on some rules regarding self moderation? Cause there are some loophole with it.

For example, the one created it find the topic replied as "spam" or low substantial post, but the respondent against it and the community find his arguement valid, is there gonna be a way to restore it?

I know there is none rules against it for now but a revision to it could have a standard on this so community will be assured if they are really not breaking any rules. Since the self moderated thread is always subjective to authors rules. This could be bias at most cases.

Well it's kind of the point that people can be bias and moderate it how they want but you'll have to ask theymos about any changes. The only thing I could think of that could be changed is that posts after x amount of time aren't allowed to be removed to stop people just having a fit at a later date and deleting posts from a year ago just because they ragequit, but I would just advise against posting in self-modded threads to avoid this.

Nice opening Shocked Liverpool’s win was almost a fautly draw  Roll Eyes
Not a great performance as I’ve expected to be honest

Leeds deserved a point.

 Sad

What did you upload? Did they not give a reason?

My suggestion would be to avoid posting in them and starting your own topic on the same subject but as a non self mod one for censorship free discussion.

Last call for anyone wanting to join the pool. There's a little less than 4 hours to go before the start of the first game and over six before the next one at 3 o clock so missing one wouldn't matter too much especially as some people will get that game wrong. If anyone wants to play but doesn't have the money yet I will give you a month's grace period to join so as long as you pay by the 12th you won't be removed. We currently have about 43 users and the pot is at 0.34215000BTC.

Hey, can I still join?  Grin Sorry for being late, been busy doing real-life stuff. I won't be able to pay the "entrance fee" right now but will be able to do that in the coming days. Would that be okay?  Wink

Yes. I will give you until the 12th of October to pay but if you can pay earlier please do so.

I probably missed you as it looks like you didn't PM me. I sent you it now.
