1061  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How is your DCA solution? on: July 30, 2023, 07:55:25 PM
I'll tell you a little story here, I have been doing DCA for a long time and hope to continue because I always set aside every week or month to buy BTC.

I buy Bitcoin from Binance exchange and some other exchanges but the withdrawal is quite expensive, at the moment but what I often use is Binance exchange which I think is the highest exchange and with its reputation.

My DCA is not big at most per week $15/$20 sometimes once a month $50, I store on the exchange until the estimated $100 when it is reached I withdraw it to a private wallet for security because I don't want to store all assets on parties when like exchanges, therefore I am a little burdened by high fees when withdrawing - for example on Binance bitcoin withdrawal is 0.0005BTC or ($14) that money is quite meaningful to me if you think about it.

I just a little advice where to buy bitcoin with minimal withdrawal such as I buy bitcoin $20 and withdrawal fee $1, it's not heavy for me if the fee is still $1.

 Smiley
Binance has recently added Lightning Network withdrawals and deposits few days ago, you should check the withdrawal fees for LN, they are certainly significantly lower than onchain operations. You should also compare those fees to the ones of the 2 other large and reputed exchanges already offering LN withdrawals, Kraken and Bitfinex, their fees are very interesting.
And the deposits/withdrawals through LN are quick and smooth there.

On a side note: requested a withdrawal of 0.08 BTC yesterday with the instant function and 30 minutes later it was already in my account. I mainly wanted to test it out because of the new terms but no issues at all, didn't need to do KYC also, so all good  Grin.
Same for me, I've tried to make few quite large withdrawals recently and all my withdrawals have been executed very quickly and smoothly without any bad surprise. Freebitcoin seems to still be as reliable as it always used to be.
1063  Economy / Gambling / Re: what are the best crypto casinos! on: July 30, 2023, 07:25:05 PM
You should also add specialized review casino sites like Casino Guru or Ask Gamblers, I'm not sure you would get those rates. I'm also a bit surprised to not find Bitcasino and Livecasino in your list while they have togethet a really good reputation here. Personally I got a very good experience with those casinos unlike some mentioned in your list.
1064  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com/us promo on: July 30, 2023, 06:52:31 PM
If you have $1,000,000

Did I get the figures correctly? $1,000,000 (One million dollars) in the last 7 days—does that not sound impossible for one to win the promo code? And even if one wagers that amount, what will the $1,000 bonus be to him or her?
I agree with you except streamers gambling fun money, I don't know who can bet that amount on a crypto offshore casino without a solid reputation. In addition the amount we can get is meaningless $1000 represents only a 0.1% cashback of $1 000 000. So I wonder if it's not just a promition to make people think there are many real high rollers gambling there.
1065  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency to be used as an investment asset on: July 29, 2023, 11:59:45 PM
Bitcoin main purpose according to Satoshi himself, is as an alternative payment to fiat currency. But over the years bitcoin has grown in such a way that many have seen it’s potential of been a great investment asset. This could be deduced from some of the advantages of his below;
1. Decentralization
2. Stores of value
3. Great Return on Investment
4. Fixed Number or Supply
5. Adoption rate.

Due to all these advantages some  people have not only taken bitcoin as an investment asset but have generalized it to other cryptocurrencies as well. Some have thoughts that investing in these alternative coins are actually diversification of one’s portfolio. But is this really portfolio diversification?

Diversification of portfolio can be termed the process by which investors, invest in different assets to mitigate a loss been encountered in a particular asset.

Alternative cryptocurrencies cannot be regarded as diversification of portfolio because;
1. Most of all the altcoins follow the same price trend as bitcoin, with just few going higher than it due to hype, which has made many to call them pump and dump coins.
financial
2. Bitcoin is the only true decentralized cryptocurrency and as such eliminates the fear of centralization which is in many altcoins which could be use to manipulate its market.

3. Bitcoin supply limit is what makes it a store of value and also an hedge against inflation, giving it an edge ahead of other cryptocurrencies.

With all these and more, and most importantly the fact that bitcoin price change is actually been followed by other cryptocurrency which are not secure, makes them more risky to be used as an investment asset.

It will be better to look into other assets like stock, gold and real estate for an ideal portfolio diversification

Aside bitcoin, treat alternative cryptocurrencies as pump and dump coins that they are.

Note: I am not advising anyone on investment
You shouldn't write misleading things about financial investments in the beginners section, but being way more cautious than that. Bitcoin is not a store of value or an hedge against inflation, neither provides guaranteed great returns on investment. All those claims are just BS for noobs IMO. Bitcoin is a high volatile and risky asset and altcoins are just higher volatile and riskier assets. But having more risky and volatile assets doesn't make Bitcoin a safe haven. Investing in Bitcoin is still mostly gambling and newcomers/beginners should only invest what they can afford to lose.
1066  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a best way of withdrawing profits from exchanges? on: July 29, 2023, 11:41:14 PM
I don't plan on withdrawing any profits for a long time at least until 2024 but just wondering if there is a best/ cheapest way of doing so when the time comes?

2024/25 will be my first bull run and up till now all I have been doing is buying have yet to sell anything for cash.

Is there a best/cheapest way of withdrawing profits to bank?
I wasn't aware a bull run was scheduled for 2024/2025. Where have you found that? You have crystal balls, guy? Nobody is able to say how will be the market in one year, global regulation seems to be more and more demanding on cryptocurrencies.
Anyway the best way to Take Profits from Bitcoin is to convert them into stable coins. It let you avoid taxation on profits usually. For withdrawing your stable coins then, you case use layer 2 networks to get lower withdrawal fees.
1067  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a viable option for newcomers? on: July 29, 2023, 10:57:03 PM
Copy trading has gained immense popularity in the crypto industry since its introduction. Bitget, being one of the pioneers in this field, remains one of the largest platforms for copy trading cryptocurrencies. Many consider it an appealing choice for beginners, but is it truly effective for those who are new to trading?
It can be interesting if the trader you copy has good results in the long run meaning he just hasn't got a recent lucky streak. But you have to be careful of the size of his bankroll. If his bankroll is bigger than your own you should adjust the amount of funds you are using in your trades proportionally, to avoid getting busted by the volatility despite his good long term results.

1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Irresponsible behavior at the Las Vegas Casino on: July 27, 2023, 12:41:35 PM
So this must has been the man initial idea, let me go and do a wild naked dance and while nobody have attention I am going to grab some chips and cards because I lost everything.Good plan but failed execution as the security guards immediately got him as soon as he started to grab the chips and other casino goods.Nevertheless I think he made a name for himself and gave some idea to people who may be will do the same but execute it much better in a much better time than the one that this one choose to do so.

Of course women will start behaving like they don't want to see it but a study has shown that women are much more nasty when it comes to watching p*rn so I am not surprised by her behavior.
Well without any pocket I'm afraid to think where he would have hidden those tokens if he wanted to steal them and if the security guards didn't bust him right after his attempt LOL
I hope he won't get a big sentence for that because he didn't look in his normal state and he was more funny than dangerous IMO.
I wasn't aware about that study on women, do you still have the link btw?

- Kraken :
L'année dernière j'avais mis :
Payward Ltd.
6th Floor, One London Wall
London, EC2Y 5EB
United Kingdom

Payward International Markets Limited
Trinity Chambers, PO BOX 4301
Road Town, Tortola

L'année dernière me suis-je trompé ?

Payward Trading Ltd
c/o SHRM Trustees (BVI) Limited
Trinity Chambers, P.O. Box 4301
Road Town, Tortola, VG1110

1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed can cause a lost bet, (true or false) on: July 23, 2023, 07:54:56 PM

Last 2 night I signed up to an online bet called betking (become a KING) and I bet a virtual stake with 1700 naira to win 1,438,540.92 naira, but the game was lost and the bet that made it to lost was the last one I added, before I added the last one that made the winning to be this amount, I was having double thoughts like should I make the winning a random figure 1.5 million or I should stake it at 1.3? But out of greed I refused to bet the game at 1.3 and I added the one that lost the bet, what a pity?
Greed is one thing that gets some game lost, the stake we are supposed to win out of greed we add another that get the game lost.
Out of my own experience I have learnt my lessons, but I don't believe that this opportunity might ever come again because I don't bet often, on a second thought this my story is what makes some people put more interest on gambling.
Thank you for the picture and the testimony bro, I think it's the first time I see such thing with such high odds to be honest, you managed to be unexpectedly lucky and unlucky at the same time. You could have been a big winner until this small one ruined it all. Could you tell us on which outcomes was your bets exactly? We see 1X double chance bets but we don't see the name of the teams.

It would be good to use trustworthy betting site like bc.game or stake.com.
Sportsbet is more known and appreciated here for sport bets IMO.

It was entertaining to watch but these people in yellow shirts (security) has ruined the party  Grin
I don't think there is anything that harmed. The guy was drugged so he really had no sense of what he was doing.
Well, everybody was laughing or filming and even the security guards took their time to come. They didn't run and they just stayed next to him, but unfortunately the naked guy then started to grab casino chips or cards on the table and they immediately busted him. They seem to have been more offended by that than his strip-tease show to be honest. The female dealer ostensibly hiding her eyes while looking at him at the same time made me laugh btw Cheesy.
1075  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback🔥up to 20% rakeback 🚨 instant withdrawals on: July 23, 2023, 06:58:15 PM
Why about BJ ?

I tough BJ are the best and recommend to be played compared to other live-game, I avoided roulette but Blakcjak are really recommended for the live-casino game. Sometimes promotions only show up in some currency.

Like, I opened promotion with BTC currency is show up. Meanwhile using other currency not showup, I once facing these experience.
Some people claim that Roulette can be more profitable or at least giving better results than Blackjack despite its higher house hedge, if you are good enough to be able to target on which sector the ball will land or if the dealer tends to always throw the ball in the same way. You need to bet on sectors or several contiguous pockets for that. Personally, I've never got nice results when I tried to do it but I guess some experimented Roulette players could do better.

Norris hunted Verstappen really well at the beginning of the British Grand Prix. Now he is again right behind him. I wonder if we will see Verstappen's reaction time less than Hamilton and Norris both. But this time it feels like Verstappen will be more focused. He has been complaining about the car at the weekend so far. I expect him to race full focused to make up for this with his driving skills somehow. Even if he doesn't have the most ideal start he is still heavily the favourite driver to win the race of course.

But having some fun in the first laps would be enjoyable again just as it was in the British Grand Prix.  Grin
Another Grand Prix, another victory for Max Verstappen, it starts to be really boring. In 11 disputed Grand Prix this year, he won 9 of them. The only 2 ones he lost was the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and the Azerbaijan one where he finished at the second position few seconds behind his Redbull teammate Sergio Perez. That's very disappointing to bet on other pilots than him, but I'm still expecting a surprise in the next races while odds for other pilots victories increase.
1077  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to grow the bitcoin you have? on: July 23, 2023, 05:51:54 PM
How to grow the bitcoin you have without being involved in gambling or putting it in a custody wallet for APY. Is there any proven low risk method.
You can offer p2p loans here, if you don't want to use a platforms, you will always find reputed members asking for loans if you don't require collateral. But if you want to ask collateral to secure your loans you will need an escrow because I'm afraid your account won't be high ranked enough  for now to be trustworthy sadly.
The only other way that comes to my mind, is trading. You can try to find some arbitrage between some exchanges if you don't like to gamble or make some Basis trading aka Cash and Carry trading between spot market price and futures prices. But if you are cautious and adopt a defensive strategy, you could make some profits by trading in a classic way, at the moment, without very big risks because the market is not volatile.

1078  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seed phrase and passphrase backup on: July 22, 2023, 09:50:35 PM
Assuming you want to have five wallets. Let us say 2 for bitcoin and 3 for altcoins. Having more than one because it is good not to have only just one wallet. Because of that, you split the coins into 5 wallets. I also prefer to use bitcoin only wallet for bitcoin.

For one seed phrase, you can have three backups which is what people are saying on this forum. For 5 wallets, that is 15 backup. If you will keep the backup in different places, that is becoming impossible.

What about having only one seed phrase and backup the seed phrase in three places on a paper. If you want to generate the 5 wallets, you will set different passphrase and have only 1 seed phrase.

Example of the passphrase:

_-\A.bb.ccc&zzz.yy.X/-_

I can make it longer like this if I have the passphrase backup online:

$+$-sbdgsgsgs$+$-362+2;$;_-$:_;$)$+_+$+3+$_-(3shdhrhe3+$-jsjdhrh_+$-#-#ehsh$!$-$-$eudydhdbs$-$&363

That is 23 characters long which will be difficult to brute force. Another thing is that if you have the backup in different places, people that see it will not know that it is passphrase.
Brute forcing a passphrase is possible when you know the seed (if the passphrase is weak) but brute forcing a seed is not possible even when you know the passphrase because a seed is never weak. So exposing a passphrase is less dangerous than exposing a seed.
Thus IMO, it's less risky to have one single passphrase and several different seeds. Because if one people discovers your passphrase he won't be able to brute force your 5 wallets, while here someone discovering your seed will be able to brute force your wallets if your passphrase isn't strong enough.
1079  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which will be best non-KYC exchanger after Ku-coin? on: July 22, 2023, 09:36:11 PM
Just comply with the requirements pal. You just need to submit necessary papers and ID's for you to be able to trade again and if you contact them on their customer service they usually give you considerations for your unique case. Kucoin is a great exchange because newly launched coins are often tradeable in it. The platform backing it with KYC will just strengthen its security so there is nothing bad about it but only up.
What kind of documents are they requiring precisely? Do they require a selfie with some documents or weird messages like many platforms are asking for? I hate those KYC processes, you're kindly giving to them highly private and confidential documents but they are never satisfied with them the first time, they almost always ask you to submit your documents and pictures several times again because for unknown reasons it's never ok for them.  Undecided

Looks like me and iv4n are competing for the most stored WoF spins lol. I was telling myself I would save it for the coming Lambo draw so by then I should have around 3000 spins (now is 2500+) but I will feel very tempted to use them if BTC drops below 20k again.

Either option is great as it would be a huge lottery boost too. In fact, might also wait for a big lotto round Smiley

I have +14k locked at the moment, and +500 from daily buying. I play multi every day, each time I try to make some little profit, and part of it goes to FUN (cheap for buying now).  Simple plan, I will try to have FUN in the long run, without more deposits/withdrawals... I guess we will see how it goes.
Wow you have accumulated a big amount of WOF spins too guys, I thought I was the only one staking them and waiting for Bitcoin to drop a little bit, in order to be able to get higher winners in BTC, but I'm not alone obviously. Well I have a descent amount of FUN locked so my spins accumulate more quickly I guess.
