1081  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Extreme greed on the market on: November 18, 2020, 11:52:47 PM
Hey guys,
By recent Fear&Greed Index bitcoin is in extreme greed area, usually it's a sign of decline in price or even crash. I've been observing this index for quite some time and find it pretty accurate, of course it doesn't give you the exact day or time but it indicates the sentiment on the market. Do you ever use this index in your trading analysis?
I'm a short term cryptocurrency trader but I never use such an index in my trading analysis because there are some occasions in the market which will change the trend of the Bitcoin market even when the signal shows the market to experience a dump in price.
1082  Other / Off-topic / Re: in what business would you invest ? on: November 18, 2020, 11:24:00 PM
With the clinical of the covid 19 vaccine concluded and prove to be 96% effective, i believe, oil/gas, stock, farming, gold and cryptocurrency are the perfect investment now.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: November 17, 2020, 09:09:34 PM
Yeah it is very important for hunters, so they know for sure that they will be paid at the end of the campaign.
Bounties nowadays are not good, either they delay the distribution, or the value of the token is already dumped after distribution.
The most important thing to do is make sure the project is very good, otherwise we will only waste our time.
Using escrow for bounty will ease the mind of bounty hunters but it does not guarantee that bounty hunters will be paid at the end of the campaign if the escrow service chooses to run away with the fund.
1084  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Didnt store 12 word phrase for coinbase wallet on: November 17, 2020, 12:40:44 AM
Please forgive my naive question, how is this possible cause what I read is that once the private keys or seed phrase are lost the fund are gone forever?
it depends on what "gone" means.
imagine if you have a piece of paper that has something written on it, if it were burnt and you have the ashes then it is truly gone and there is nothing you can do about it. but if it were slightly damaged and part of it was wiped there is still some hope.
same is true about digital storage. if the HDD, SDD, SD card,... wasn't wiped clean or the file were overwritten there could be ways to recover it. although it is very challenging.
I asked the question. I am not used to mobile wallet cause i don't like it cause it seems vulnerable to attack to me but ETFbitcoin said the OP could still get back the wallet seeds he didn't save or write down through his phone storage. How is that possible when he doesn't remember or write down any word in the wallet seeds.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: November 16, 2020, 11:50:02 PM
I prefer XRP to $ 0.5 first, because XRP has been asleep for a long time and no pump has approached this coin,
it must be difficult to be a holder of XRP, please be patient and don't sell this coin cheap.
I suggest holding on to XRP because XRP is currently in a good trend. It has touched $0.285 at the moment and it will continue in the long term.
Guys dont are foul by the slight bullish trend ripple is experiencing cause it will always be a pump and dump coin. Why don't you guys just invest in Bitcoin and altcoin like ETH which was said to experience good price growth once it 2.0 is launch.
1086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming BCH hard fork question on: November 14, 2020, 05:46:56 PM
Anyone who holds BCH will be airdropped with the same coin, because BCH is also quite expensive, they can't just give preference to those holding more than 1 BCH.  I just hope this hard fork is as successful as BSV and get some big financial support behind, the price can pump very big since we are in the early stage of bull run.
Thanks for the information. Just need to be sure of what will really happen and expect the hard fork to be successful since crypto market is gaining more exposure.
1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Upcoming BCH hard fork question on: November 14, 2020, 05:16:35 PM
I believe it's not something new that BCH will undergo a hard fork tomorrow which could possibly generate a new coin but there's something I don't understand about the new coin which will be generated and also airdropped in the ratio of 1:1.
I am holding 0.1BCH does that mean I will also get 0.1 of the newly generated coin or the airdrop is not for people that hold at least 1BCH?
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum: $500, $400, or $800? on: November 14, 2020, 04:03:47 PM
I don't see Ethereum reaching the price ($800) predicted by the analyst cause the market bullish trend is still in the early birth stage but nothing is impossible in the crypto market due to the volatility in nature of the market.
1089  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Didnt store 12 word phrase for coinbase wallet on: November 14, 2020, 02:42:45 PM
You won't be able to get the wallet from coinbase, but maybe there's a way to roll back the removal process and bring the old wallet back. I'm not an expert in file recovery, but if you had a lot of money stored there it wouldn't hurt to ask mobile recovery store if they'd be able to do it. Some files are kept in cache and temporary folders, maybe some of those managed to survive, but it's important that you don't install any new software in place of the old one. It looks like you've already tried to reinstall the wallet.

Good idea, but :
1. You need to have access to the smartphone storage (need root for android or jailbreak for iOS)
2. You need to know where and how the files are stored

Additionally, rollback on android usually means downgrade OS/application version, not rollback the smartphone to previous state where OP can directly access the Bitcoin.
Please forgive my naive question, how is this possible cause what I read is that once the private keys or seed phrase are lost the fund are gone forever?
1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: State-Issued Digital Currencies - Why do you need to sell all your bitcoin on: November 11, 2020, 07:54:17 PM
Hi Guys

I have been reading about State-Issued Digital Currencies and it seems that current bitcoin wont worth anything.

let me know what you think about it i am planning to write an article about it

N

For the record the government tried to make Bitcoin obsolete, they failed cause the Bitcoin enthusiast value the liberation Bitcoin offered and later IMF advised told them that digital currency is inevitable which is the reason they decide to issue their own national currecy.
If they failed then so their digital currency wont harm Bitcoin.
1091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Turnoff Happen to Bitcoin on: November 10, 2020, 11:56:26 AM
after the announcement by Paypal Bitcoin have been experiencing a huge transaction lagging and ridiculous size of the mempool.

PayPal didn't cause that, the reason why it happened is that big price movements cause a lot of trading activity, which means people make more transactions to exchanges, and more transactions means more competition for block space, so higher fees.
But what I understand about crypto market is that some news help the market in gaining more traffic and with crypto lover long wait for giant payment company like Paypal to integrate Bitcoin which now happen, we cant say paypal is not one of the reason behind the transaction congestion.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halloween inspired poll –would your Bitcoins get passed on if you suddenly died? on: November 10, 2020, 11:35:44 AM
The Bitcoin i kept in my permanent wallet will get passed on if i suddenly died because i have a Metal Bitcoin Seed Storage which contain my wallet seed and it was kept in my safe deposit box which will be pass to my heir after I died but the Bitcoin i kept in the wallet i use for my day to day transaction will not be pass on.
Have hard of metal bitcoin wallet of late but have not tried it out how does it really works cause it sound like some real deal to me, what I normally do to be able to pass on my asset is to store my wallet pass phrase in a safe place and letting my beloved ones to have access to the safe.
It a metal seeds storage created for cryptocurrency users in other to keep their wallet private information save whenever an accident like fire, car etc happens. Mind you, some stress test happen been performed on this metal storage by Jameson Lopp which is among crypto enthusiast and i can only recommend Quadrat Register.

1094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Will Turnoff Happen to Bitcoin on: November 03, 2020, 03:19:08 PM
A lot of cryptocurrency enthusiasts and investors are hoping for the day Bitcoin and some meaningful altcoins will be mainstream and also use by online payment giant like Paypal. Fortunately, the crypto community received an amazing news this year about Paypal integration of Bitcoin, LTC, ETH etc last month but after the announcement by Paypal Bitcoin have been experiencing a huge transaction lagging and ridiculous size of the mempool.

My question is there any perfect solution put in place fix this problem aside from the lightning network which i don't know much about cause Bitcoin will gain more traffic next year and if nothing is done now it may lead to some turnoff by some investors?

1096  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP]Blenderwallet.io Signature Campaign | Sr. Members+ ~ Up to$62.5/Week on: November 03, 2020, 01:50:44 PM
To be incase some people dont understand or read the condition of this campaign "This will run, as the blender.io campaign, for one week at a time with reapplications"
Which mean if you accept this week that doesnt mean youll accepted in the week 2
You might be wrong, I think the manager can still prioritize previous participant to keep up with the campaign like he did in the Bitamp campaign (if you've ever monitored it). This will help save a little time when selecting participant among applicant who come for each different week. But whatever it is, I don't want to speculate any further because the manager has the right to do whatever he deem good to the campaign. Good luck everyone.

I check the campaign you mentioned and you're right but I think the manager only prioritized those participants because they are good posters. However, the major reason for the one week at a time and reapplication is to keep good posters while the shit posters are excluded from the campaign so another good poster will be enrolled, isn't it Hhampuz?
1097  Other / Meta / Re: Why aren't avatar ad clickable? on: November 02, 2020, 08:58:46 PM
Avatar is purposely a profile picture or image that can be used to represent particular users of the forum and if it has an ad clickable then it no longer an avatar anymore but an ad design/banner.

I love the idea and the features of your wallet but i think it will be better if you created the desktop and mobile version of it cause i once read that web wallet are somehow vulnerable to attack.
Does the web wallet version have a tor site?
