I planning to reach the 5BTC goal to increase my passive rewards.
Wait! Did I understand it correctly? Where is the passive reward in blackjack.fun? Or is it coming from another casino website? Can you explain this a bit more so I can understand it clearly and for anyone else here in the forum.

Just to clarify though, passive means you are not actively betting on side, while accumulate stacks of bitcoin. I might have missed this in blackjack.fun. But anyways, response would be very much appreciated.

I was just about to beat up 4 police officers as morning exercise who said I can't be dressed up like a pirate, I'd advise to shut your fooking mouth
Heya! If this is the treatment that other members will receive for pointing out any missing details, anyone would think that the campaign you are doing isn't legitimate and worth advertising at all.

A sign message wouldn't cost you that much, no?
1103  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a paper on: June 14, 2022, 09:54:18 AM
Hi! @saxydev,

I have the research paper with the title you have mentioned. Can I confirm if the researchers are Adam B. Turner, Stephen McCombie and Allon J. Uhlmann? Also, I am using OnionShare, however, there is a small caveat, you need to download ToR browser to be able to open the link and download the pdf.

I don't mind the XMR either. You can just keep it to yourself.

Unknowingly to his friends, other colleagues and even relatives they go on dropping messages upon messages for him without getting back any response from him even at different interval, cause his focus all through the period online is in cryto
I honestly don't find this a big issue. I mean if at the beginning, I find the message a bit boring that will not contribute with the niche I am am currently doing,  I won't bother responding to these people unless otherwise it is very important notice(which you have also mentioned). I'd also rather spend my time making money in crypto than having a shallow conversation.

This days people chase online money so much that they forget the place of giving or spending time with friends and family
Perhaps, he knows he can't live on a charity which is always a sad truth.

The website is wonky? Anyone?

I am getting a connection error 522 which seems to be a result of another DDOS attack? Assuming it is DDOS, I wonder why these attackers kept disrupting the website  Roll Eyes. Hoping that everyone does not affect their betting.
1106  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Wallet Inquiry on: June 13, 2022, 09:33:59 AM
Technically, the funds being received are recorded in the blockchain, not on your device.

This means that you can receive your bitcoin while being offline. However, if you want to check that the transaction succeeds, then you need an internet connection to sync your Electrum for the balance(received amount) to reflect.
1107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Multiplayer Gaming in Gambling Industry on: June 13, 2022, 09:23:29 AM
As far as I know, there are gambling games that require the participation of multiple people? Is it not? Similar to this[1]. Looking at the thread, I recall IOI racing doing both a signature campaign and an art contest in which I believe I participated, but their website is currently unreachable.

On the other hand, one popular multiplayer gambling game I know here in our country is "Bingo"[2]. I am just not quite sure if other countries played this game as well. But yeah, I played bingo multiple times and it was both fun and annoying at times.

1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 13, 2022, 08:38:17 AM
Because if it were simple, you wouldn't see such grandiose infrastructures that can accommodate a large number of people to have a good time.

And from a technical standpoint, these games are constructed in such a way that the odds favor the casino, and players/gamblers can lose a lot of money over a considerable length of time.
1109  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you struggle learning about bitcoin? on: June 13, 2022, 07:25:16 AM
I also had the same question before[1][2], but you know what? I have realized that it is up to you to decide what specific area of knowledge in crypto you want to dive in and what approach you need to take to best absorb the knowledge like a sponge. In general, cryptocurrency is a multifaceted discipline that includes themes such as finance, economics, investing, trading, security, cryptography, and whatnot.

Personally, since my course is inclined toward the technical aspects (e.g., programming, hardware, etc..) and is interested in trading; I chose both fields where I read 1 article related to them per day. Joined a Reddit community that has access to quality resources, and I've been watching videos to supplement what I've learned because I grasp the concept better with visuals and narration.

It might be overwhelming at first, but as long as you learned something new, the knowledge you get will surely accumulate overtime  Cheesy. Hope that helps

How can I do it safely and low risk?
I don't think getting yourself into trading is a good idea. By this, I mean it isn't a simple buy high or sell low game that lets you earn a quick buck without too much risk. Personally, it is the most complicated game I've seen in my entire life because you are up against people who have extensive experience, more resources, and connections that give them an upper hand over you which in turn will probably make you lose money if you don't specifically know what you are doing.

If I were you, I'd rather DCA[1] while learning crypto in general just to get comfortable in the space. But if you still want to learn to trade, then I highly suggest you read these resources[2]

1111  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's been your greatest challenge on BTT ? on: June 13, 2022, 01:56:42 AM
If you aren't reading or watching a lot of crypto-related stuff, it would be very difficult to contribute something useful in most of the threads created here, because otherwise, you will end up spamming the heck out of the thread spreading false information, and repeated opinions. So far, I've had to verify technical information from various articles and bitcoin-related message boards in order to avoid providing inaccurate information just to meet my post requirements.

I know it must be second nature to constantly learn from a specific discipline in crypto, but it's too much for someone who works as a freelancer while attending university. That's why, as much as possible, I only respond to threads where I know I can make a positive contribution without being constrained. But hey! you are always a work in progress  Wink.
1112  Economy / Gambling / Re: Weed Daddy | Get the DOPEST NFT ever NOW 🌿🌿🌿 | Crash Game on: June 12, 2022, 10:57:51 AM
Not an avid gambler, but I think marketing the NFT sale before launching the website by October isn't right? By this, I mean, it would be better to have an actual casino website where members or gamblers can play the game immediately to ascertain if buying a certain NFT is worthwhile.

It would be very difficult to trust an NFT asset if the claimed benefits can't be tested on a finished casino game/site especially now that competitors had done the same idea. Plus, the NFT scene is declining like a ticking time bomb. Just an honest opinion though..

NFTs (Non Fungible Tokens) are unique cryptographic tokens that exist on a blockchain and cannot be replicated. NFTs can represent real-world items like artwork and real estate. "Tokenizing" these real-world tangible assets makes buying, selling, and trading them more efficient while reducing the probability of fraud. However, trading of these NFTs are not easy as one may think. In this thread, I will like to hear from the experts in the forum the way forward on how to trade NFTs with ease. Listing NFTs on it trading platforms takes longer time without any offer to buy them until the listing duration elapsed. In such cases, what is your suggestion to get these NFTs sold as fast as possible?

1114  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is It Possible To Build a HTML/CSS Kind of Table On This Forum? on: June 12, 2022, 09:30:52 AM
If you still need to create some fancy-looking table like you mentioned, I highly suggest you refer to this thread[1] for some table design inspiration. Just design the table according to your preference. Plus, being a forum junkie, BBcode is generally used specifically for message boards as well as to avoid security issues. Problem solved!!

Before BBCode forums sometimes allowed users to include HTML code in their posts, which had many security issues (i.e. the user could execute javascript code, break the layout of the site and so on).

As far as I know, only Serious Discussion boards prohibit "Newbie" rank from creating a new post.

But as an alternative for testing, you can use SCEditor[1] to study how BBCode works. Although it is not as similar to the forum editor, you can still practice the fundamentals, particularly text formatting.

1116  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Questions about signature campaign and its rules. on: June 11, 2022, 06:06:26 AM
Question Three
How do the companies that launch campaigns here make money? Is there any kind of SEO embedded in the signature that indexes their sites in search engines?
I don't have any involvement in managing SEO-related jobs, but I believe a signature campaign can help a brand acquire traction with the public. To back this up, other users with SEO experience often agree that having their website or business shown as a signature counts as a "backlink"[1]. Therefore, it increases traffic, which may lead to a potential player/user who will pay for the services.

Question Four
Having 10 quality posters making a total of 100 quality posts a week and having 20 shit posters making 500 shit posts per week, which one produces more result for the company
Both can yield results. However, quality posts are strongly encouraged in any forum or community, which can obviously generate a buzz that, perhaps, because this person positively contributes to the growth of the community, everything posted or linked with this person is trustworthy.

On the contrary, spreading the brand throughout the forum, regardless of quality, may have favorable benefits because it is exposed to a larger audience. I'm not sure, but I have a gut sense that gamblers who visit bitcointalk don't usually care about quality; as long as the brand is exposed, people will sign up for it.

Question Five
Some managers do not require number of merits earned in applying in their campaign while many require.
Is merit no longer the measure for quality?
It is still one factor that determines a good poster. From what I've seen, campaigns that don't require merit may be some pointless ICO bounties or a campaign that considers a quality post that isn't constrained only to merit in which some of the sig. camps you see here fall into.

Question six
Is it a crime in the forum that after applying for a campaign, the user sends the campaign manager pm to give the manager more reasons to hire him. Which he cannot do in the application thread in order not to destruct the application process.
It isn't, but in a business/professional setting, soliciting the hiring manager for application approval is considered unethical. And this applies to signature campaigns as well. Really, if you are not a shitposter, then the quality of your post should automatically reflect in your post history, pm'ing the manager would most likely cause a nuisance in proving yourself especially if the aspects of so-called "quality" isn't reflected.

I did not answer other questions because they are self-explanatory, and some of them require a campaign manager for an accurate answer.

1117  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Any vulnerabilities in changing OLED screen of Ledger Nano S? on: June 10, 2022, 05:26:07 AM
Heya!! I've already received the product. Although the shipping from China to the Philippines was delayed due to certain transit issues, it is still worth the wait, so I can fix the OLED issue on the Ledger NONO S and have an extra hardware wallet. Moving on, I'll do my best to record or document the screen replacement process in a few days.

1118  Other / Meta / Removing Current Topic Notifications on: June 10, 2022, 03:56:26 AM
Heya! Is it possible to remove all of the threads from my "Current Topic Notifications"?

I know I can check all the threads at once by using the checkbox next to "Started by." However, I have more than 80+ pages of threads to clear, and repeating the same process is time-consuming. Is there a bot or SMF function that I'm overlooking?

This is the only time I've used these settings in all my years on the forum...LOL:Smiley
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Length of Time Before You Learn All These Gambling Terms Or Jargons on: June 10, 2022, 03:00:06 AM
Simply study the gambling terminology or jargon you don't understand the first time you come across them.

The only benefit I can think of when measuring the time it takes to understand gambling lingo is assessing the person's level of understanding within the specific field, which is usually irrelevant. Who cares if you are the most knowledgeable person in the gaming industry if luck is the game's driving force?
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minor Protection From Gambling on: June 09, 2022, 08:21:20 AM
This new KYC regulation won't solve the problem. The real problem is the unregulated casinos that don't require ID verification. Who is going to stop those casinos from accepting underage gamblers? Another part of the problem is the aggressive advertising of casinos and sportsbooks.
Partially agree but hey! Tackling age restrictions, particularly for children, is a significant issue in the gambling industry, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Although the approach may not totally fix the problem, it is unquestionably a greater step toward eradicating the problem. In line with this approach, it is still important parental guidance though...

However, the issue is that this is still a KYC that most of us do not agree to comply with.
