1101  Economy / Speculation / Re: ASIC Rigs Make Price Skyrocket along with difficulty? on: July 11, 2012, 05:03:12 AM
my thoughts are BFL are a disgusting company that has lied throughout their entire dealings with the bitcoin community.

Should they achieve their claims you can expect shipping to be as disorganized as ever resulting in Inaba, GigaVPS and other key members getting them in record time while the rest of the world waits for BFL to "stress test" the all ready paid for units for the next 6-8 months at least.

BFL will insult and attack every customer that dares question them publicly - ie asking "where is my order that was supposed to be posted 2 decades ago".

So even if real expect BFL to trickle them out simply because their greedy bastards with 0 respect for their clients or because they are utterly incompetent.
1102  Economy / Speculation / Re: A second bubble? on: July 11, 2012, 04:35:54 AM
I have gotten most of my circle into bitcoins solely for gambling. Gambling needs another push, but I have not seen any slide backs in adopters.

The porn market is just in its infancy right now, way to many at home amateurs (sorry girls) but it is trending towards higher quality models as of late.

Drugs..... I think Silk Road has this in done and done, nothing to see here.
1103  Economy / Speculation / Re: A second bubble? on: July 11, 2012, 01:45:18 AM
I predict a price around $10-$20 by end of the year. This is not because the price "broke through" $7 just now, but because I know of certain developments in bitcoinworld that support such a price (and the above price target does not include speculative froth, but simply a reasonable market price given the fundamentals).

Let's also remember that any price increase anywhere below $32, if a bubble, is less of a bubble than we had last year, for the economy is far stronger now than it was a year ago. In other words, if we shoot up to $25, it might be a bubble, but it's a far smaller bubble than we had prior. The fundamentals are far more supportive of such a price now than prior.

Can you please eleborate on those fundamentals and certain developments in bitcoinworld.
It would be good to know too

Nope Smiley

To make a high stable price bitcoin needs a tripod of DRUGS, PORN AND GAMBLING to stand on.
Porn needs some more attention, Drugs seems to be a run away success (SR) and Gambling is certainly taking off.
1104  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's insult each other! on: July 10, 2012, 07:53:08 AM
Inaba is a lying cunt who works for BFL, he is also a frustrated man child prone to hilarious fits of rage which you can view as rant posts on here. Best highlight ever when his own sock puppets started to back away from supporting BFL (LOL), Runner up - his rage attack at MTGOX because he could not read an FAQ (best display of stupidity ever).

Ok now to give everyone some Ammo.

BFL is still a con, expect shills (and key community members) to get their orders 1st and laugh at the rest of you idiots for not trusting moar !

ummmm...... I am atlas.

Silk Road in its entirety is why bitcoin is a success, without SR btc is just a toy currency for speculation.

Bitcoin will succeed because of: Drugs, Sex (Porn, Prostitution etc) and Gambling.

Price is due to crash to $3.50 any day now, sell to me at $4 before it does Smiley
1105  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCBlink.com - Yet another bitcoin game. on: July 10, 2012, 05:20:47 AM
Another issue with these style raffles - there is no end date. Raffles usually sell the most at the start and just before closing.

I cannot tell if I lost a game currently.
1106  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: July 07, 2012, 05:14:44 AM
I had a nice win on StrikeSapphire's bonus poker while waiting for the freeroll:

4 4's in the first hand when playing 5 hands.

1107  Economy / Gambling / Try strikesapphires freeroll on: July 07, 2012, 04:35:42 AM
I normally play seals but lets spread the love Smiley

Dooglus and I are currently in for the next hourly freeroll, need at least 1 more player.
1108  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Payout Updates] Bitcoinica site is taken offline for security investigation on: July 06, 2012, 06:32:30 AM
I am supposed to only give out the status for emails. Accounts are in 3 states:

- Fake. This is a minority of accounts so far we are certain are impostors.
- Accurate. At my last count, this was around 1 in 20 (5%). Only a portion of these has been paid so far. Still working through paying these people back (I don't have access to funds personally. It works like Donald gets a portion and does them in chunks at a time with proper authorisation from Tihan and Patrick).
- Queued. Majority of claims are in the queue waiting to be examined. Around half (a guess) of claims I believed were accurate, and various fakes got pushed back into the "lets examine then later category". Most simply haven't been looked at yet.

The idea is to sort out claims with the highest certainty (this means quicker payouts), then as you work down, you reconcile them with other payments. I know people here are congratulating me, but I've actually been a hindrance for the claims process. Several times, I caused some mix-ups and confusion so Donald hands me batches/tasks to complete at a time.

Genjix, can you please clarify to me under which status does my accounts hold at the moment?

Maria. <3

You have no claim.

The online claims process is now closed to new claims.

If you wish to pursue a claim you will need to send a notarized copy of any and all information you have by mail to the registered address as listed by business.govt.nz

I do have a claim, and its a public one. Part of the funds you are holding are for a pending donation list I have including 1000 BTC for the forum. My claim now is aprox. 16500 BTC interest included.

If you have no intention of honoring my claim, please let me know. I have a PLAN B for your type of people.

Maria.

Interesting.

So "Maria" has 1000 btc owed - for charity to (awwww what a nice gurl).
She amusingly demands interest of 60% (I  assume to help out those charities)
Makes thinly veiled threats of violent visits (strange for a charitable person dont you think).
Refuses to log a claim and supply personal information.

The amount of money ($6000 AUD) is only worth a single paid violent visit to an individual (I have my contacts).
You would never announce you are having someone come over to persuade if you were indeed the type of person to organize this.

My guess Maria = Butt Hurt silk road seller trying to pretend they have some clout. If 5k has impacted your drug business at all you are essentially powerless.
Maria is hoping to reclaim her drug money, but is unable to provide the ID needed to do so, so here she is making public hollow threats.

1109  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Theory on what pirateat40 is doing on: July 05, 2012, 06:22:51 AM
hedging against risk is much cheaper than 7% a week.

Speaking of:

Bitcoin Savings and Trust will default on or before July 31st, 2012.

Bitcoin Savings and Trust will default before the end of 2012
 - http://betsofbitco.in/item?id=433

If the balance of that bet gets large enough I can see Pirate keeping the ponzi scheme alive (if they even are ponzi scheme) until after the bet date (and sinking a large chunk of btc on False).

1113  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitcoin Pyramid [Beta] - the oldest working pyramid? on: July 04, 2012, 02:47:04 AM
You guys do understand pyramids are the very definition of a scam.
The magic only works if you can sign up fresh meat below you and  they are able to do the same.

See Amway or A2K or whatever  that shitty company has renamed itself to.

Treat it like a gamble and dont be surprised if you get 0 returns.
1114  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: July 04, 2012, 12:57:38 AM
Hey mem, thanks for the compliment in our thread on Keno! We don't get a lot of players for that so I'm glad someone appreciates it  Wink

Just a note, I think you might've put $15 in the wrong column based on what Dooglus said... our min cashout is always $5, never more. Our max bets are a little off in the list...here they are:

* Blackjack - $15 for beginners, $25 for Silver VIPs (up to 3 hands at a time, at up to six tables at the same time, if you can do that much blackjack).
* Three Card Poker - $5 for beginners, $10 for Silver VIPs (also up to 3 hands at a time)
* All of our Video Poker games have stakes up to $1.25.
* Craps - $10 for Silver VIPs (plus 3x pass line odds, making it a max $40 pass line bet).
* Sapphire Rummy - bets per hand are actually $0.15 up to $15. I'm not sure where the $10,000 came from... that's a little steep Wink
* Slots and Keno both take bets up to $1.25 (if you switch from $0.05 to $0.25 mode)
* Roulette - $0.01 to $5 for newbies, $50 max bets for VIPs.

Also, Dooglus mentioned in our thread we have a "certain level" where you can get Silver Star VIP status. I should clarify that. The level used to be 5,000 player points, back when he qualified for it, but it's since gone up to 10,000. On July 19th, it will go up to 20,000. Players earn one point for every $0.25 played in any game. They can be spent on poker freerolls, but when considering an application for VIP status we look at the total amount earned, regardless of whether they've been spent or not.

Np's your Keno is praise worthy - (options + animation are very well done).
Fixed and updated your listings (thanks for catching me on that).
1115  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: July 04, 2012, 12:47:07 AM
Woot! Some additional details for bitZino:

Min bet is 0.000001 BTC (1e-6 BTC)
Max bet is 10 BTC
Min and max cash out are 1 satoshi.

Also, we are now Provably Fair

fixing now.

Also, I hate to be anal, but could you please change the spelling to bitZino (with a capital 'Z')? I'm trying to make the Z a core part of our branding. Wink

Thanks for putting all the work into such a great list!

Hey nothing wrong with anal Wink

Kudos to you on a great site.

I reposted for you.
1117  Bitcoin / Wallet software / weird blockchain.info address problem on: July 03, 2012, 01:04:39 PM
Posting here as my newbie friend is not out of newbie jail yet and people may find it interesting.

Short version, he found a specific address that is valid but the blockchain.info wallet rejects as invalid.

I'm fairly new to the BTC scene, but have been lurking around the edges for a fair while.

I generated a new account at :
https://bitzino.com/blackjack
and it gave me a deposit address to use ( 1FVRij1uYQ4E823kwGV55QZQft9QVTJV23 ) but for some reason I cant send to it.
If I try I get the following:

With a mate I have checked it by sending coin to that address via MtGox and it worked.
and the owner of the site said:
Quote
Thanks for reaching out! I just reconfirmed your deposit address with the `validateaddress` bitcoin command, and it said your address is indeed valid.

I'm glad you got it working with mtgox, but I'm curious what the deal is with blockchain.info! If you find anything out, please do let us know!

Regards,
Gabriel
bitZino Support Team

I've flicked an email to blockchain.info telling them but no response yet.

Any idea's?
1118  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitZino - HTML5 Bitcoin Casino - Provably Fair on: July 03, 2012, 09:42:04 AM
Quick bump for bitzino, the admin helped my friend out with a technical issue he had - not the fault of bitzino and the admin was very quick to respond.

Great to see.

bumpy

Shifted more sites from pending to their correct homes.

Still not online much, I have recovered from sickness only to be slammed repeatedly during my on call week for work.
Returning to human levels sometime this week I think.
