gee my list of scammers & shills is growing quickly.

Quick note, dont bother private messaging me with threats of "libel lawsuits" like some big sook did on the weekend it just my truth-erection harder.
Do send me a summons so I can report you to the financial fraud dept of your country.

Defending Ponzi's gets you listed as "dangerous fucking idiot / shill", dont like it ? then get some common sense into you.

245  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Chain Game] Coin Controller ~~ easy to play, provably fair! on: March 25, 2014, 03:19:49 AM
this game and all chain games are not provably fair.

This game is basically a scam, it is not considered gambling.
The results you see are provable yes, but the game is not provably fair.

Basically these scams work like so:

1) You can by 1 magnificent turd for 0.01 BTC, look at how the stink lines rise and  the flies hover.
2) Derp derp derpity do, you just gave us money, now the turd stinks even more and costs 0.02 BTC for the next sucker to buy it.
3) Oh no, where you the only last human to play this game (all other bets are run by bots controlled by site owner).
4) Oh noooooo, the timer reset - after a busy day of bots players pushing the price up it magically stopped with you.

hey all, really happy with the work I did this weekend.

The site is basically a functional beta now, Im just ironing out formatting, cleaning up code and testing by adding / removing sites & games.
I was going to punch in some more data during my lunch hour today but alas, my company has far to much spare time to big brother their employees so my latest personal domain has already been blocked by work.

So Im going to treat myself by buying a nice new personal laptop for work and use my android phone as a modem, mwahahahahahaha.

I'll attack it some more tonight (unless game of thrones comes out).

very very close to adding bb forum code generator as well.

nice to see at least bitcointalk.org is not blocked yet, so I'll see if I cant whip up some perl code to test posting directly to the forum.
252  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: March 22, 2014, 12:56:52 PM
making some good progress on the new site / list generator Cheesy
It really helps when your not drunk and trying to figure out the finer details of perl CGI::Session resuming.

Some short term goals:
* Casino operators will be given accounts to add their own games, but will only be able to set their entries to pending.
* Add all sites & games (sigh), lot of work there.
* list generator.

The main thing is though, Im having a lot of fun knocking this together and finally have made some time for it (sorry skyrim, I miss you).
Hopefully will have a open BETA ready tomorrow, monday Smiley

just saw this bitdoubler from vantix he said that he got his investment there 2x but im still a little bit skeptical about it thanks for this thread Cheesy

Yes, I have some speculation about vantix...... but just speculation.

Glad it helped you avoid them, good on you for not being an idiot.

LOL never tried fonzi it just a little bit funny when this owner advertize their new site then you will see that most of the depositor is this newbies with 4 or 8 post and 2 activity Cheesy seems like their minions haha

Thats what we like to call sock puppets, Im just going to come out and say it.

Id guess vanitix is running several of these scams using newbie accounts as  the PR account and his older account  to boost credability.
"Hey look guyz the obvious scam paid me out !!!! OMG U GUYZ INVESTORZ NOW".

If not, sorry Vanitix but stop being such a fucking idiot.

Erm, the sites are labeled as a ponzi scheme, they aren't lying. All it is is another bitcoin gambling game, just like satoshi dice, you may win, or lose, but the person USUALY does not run away with the money

Did you just defeat your own argument before giving me the chance to do so ?

Anyway lets break it down, a gambling game has an average payout of around 95% or higher but individual payouts can range from x0 to x36 (using roulette as my example). A Ponzi's max payout is usually 80% (individual payouts being 1-7%) then they pack up and run, there is NEVER a payout greater than 100% just operators pretending to be players and their shills.

A Ponzi is a scam.

Again since Im dealing with idiots I'll give you an example.

Doing surgery without a license is illegal.
The reason that we dont allow people to operate with a disclaimer of "derp Im actually just a butcher" is because as a society we need to look after the weaker links in our chain.

In case your not grasping my point, you strike me as the type of person who would see his local butcher/ vet to get his appendix removed and then advise others to do the same.
I actually agree with you that this sub-forum would be better without the ponzis. However, I am going to point out that you are wrong right here. Ponzi schemes payout more than 100% all the time. In fact, that is why they are so effective and alluring. The early investors pull out their money + profits and say "Look everyone! I made a huge return in barely any time!!" Then more people start investing and the whole thing falls apart once it gets too big because either A) The scheme operator decides he has made enough and runs off. B) Too many people cash out at one time. or C) Someone finds a way to prove that it is a ponzi scheme. .... Some of the "ponzi games" side step C by saying from the get-go that they are a ponzi, then they find ways to make A or B seem unlikely or impossible. The reality is of course that any ponzi scheme/game is going to end with some people getting burned.

Im not indulging this discussion further.
Ponzi's are run by con artists and they do a great disservice to legitimate casinos, there never has and never will be an honest Ponzi.

Ive bolded your statement that I consider dangerously stupid and misleading.
Ponzi's NEVER payout over 100% this is by nature how a ponzi operates. Individual shills make claims of payouts. I covered this very clearly in the topic post how ponzi's work and you have contributed nothing new expect spreading confusion.

Please be warned I dont have the patience to debate the finer details of how:

  • an obvious scam is not a scam
  • It is a scam but not really
  • Is just a game, newbies should read more carefully
  • Hey some people claim to make money, this shit must be legit

continuing to do so will get you listed as a shill and get you on my ignore list.
257  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Fucking Ponzi's and the idiots that buy into them + List of Shills on: March 21, 2014, 06:10:23 AM
come on shills, why not shill for me Tongue

bumpy bump - adding more scammers & shills.
258  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: March 21, 2014, 06:06:40 AM

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE

Ive knocked up a basic framework for adding sites and games.
Displaying a nicely formatted html list will be easy.
Generating forum code will just be a case of merging some old code.

Might have the beta up for use this weekend.

Once the beta is operating well, I'll start smashing through the reviews and updates.
Even with my old perl script it had become to much work for me to stay on top of during my spare time.
Below is an example memslist.txt (WIP) I'll be testing it with some of the casinos I have worked with in the past.
Code:
[site]
name = Generic Dice
odds = 0.99
support_email= support@genericdice.com
support_bitcointalk = https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=55202
[Dice]
url = http://genericdice.com/dice
odds = 0.99
description = blah blah blah
notes = note note notey
min_bet = 0.0001
max_bet = 1

The idea of using the site hosted text file is I dont need to verify the site admin each time, they can upload a memslist.txt then post the url (eg genericdice.com/memslist.com) to memslist.com/submit.html (or whatever I call it).
It will be automatically added to the list of new un-reviewed sites.

TBH its been nice dealing with perl cgi again, I loathe php, python isnt really there yet and things have gotten sooooo much easier since the last time I wrote perl cgi (late 90's).
Expect to see some testing going on this weekend Smiley and hopefully a public / private beta test.

Not sure if I can get the automatic forum updates working, but that is also in  the scope.

I suck @ html btw, so anyone wishing to create themes same deal as WiiCR.
You design it all, make it look sweet and I add it as theme option - put a nice footer on there advertising your HTML skills and include your own contact details.

Anyway, back to hacking code - will update tonight / tomorrow (dont have ftp access to deploy the new code from work Sad )
