The max for that bet is only .05, and that didn't change from when you made the bet. So you sent an amount that was too high, then lost, and got the money returned to you, and you're upset? Smiley

Just unlucky then buddy Tongue

and no Im not moving along, I like this thread - think I will stay.
822  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: September 25, 2012, 02:52:44 AM
BTCDice now marked as a scam.
823  Economy / Gambling / Re: AAAAAAAHHH FU Satoshidice! FUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuUUUUUUuuuuuuu on: September 24, 2012, 02:30:47 PM
so did the max bet change after you placed it ?

Seems with these dynamic max bets it would be extremely easy for site admins to abuse by dropping the max bet in the event of a winner (and dont drop for losers) .
Then you let it creep back up.

wind mate, they fucking hate wind.
Setup a pedestal fan so its blowing directly across your body while you sleep and you wont get bitten  Wink

That hanging sticky paper while disgusting works well and wont harm your fish.
Also dont forget those cool electric swatters - they work great but break quickly (dont pay over $5 AUD for one).

You know what, those are some valid points and I apologize for arguing against you.

no apology necessary, I have that effect on people Tongue
827  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ANN] BTCDice.com - The Best Bitcoin Game in the World! - Better Payouts on: September 24, 2012, 06:45:28 AM
Good. Fight you wont win is not worth fighting.  Grin

The only fight that seems to be occurring here is your fight against reality.

Dooglus is one of the sharpest people on here, and his point appears to be valid.  I don't think I can trust a site that operates the way you seem to be operating, and I am pretty sure other potential players here have reached the same conclusion.

Indeed. I PMed BTCdice a whike back about the double commission he was charging compared with satoshidice and the false advertising of a seemingly better rate compared with satoshidice and after a short exchange where I provided similar evidence including matching bets from both BTCdice and satoshidice, and BTCdice stayed in denial and refused to accept my points.

I just stopped using them. Recommend others do too until they fix their payouts or at least accept what both Douglas and I are saying as the truth.

Can provide PM logs if anyone wants.

Will

Im afraid btcdice is no longer welcome on my list until they rectify their payouts.
It seems clear this confusion is to the advantage of the house and quite possibly done on purpose to mislead the player.
I shall update its listing tonight to "SCAM".

btcdice admin, if you decide to correct your payout listing please let me know.
828  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: September 24, 2012, 06:37:21 AM
I notice you list btcdice as "exact clone of satshidice".  That's not really true.  btcdice seems to be deliberately deceptive in the payouts they quote.  For example they say they payout "2x" for the "lessthan 32768" (50/50) bet.  Obviously nobody can afford to pay 2x on a 50/50 bet, or they'd never win any money.  It turns out they take off the house edge *after* working out the 2x.  This is in contrast to pretty much every other site out there.  It's standard practice to quote the actual multiplier the player gets.

Various people have tried to point this out to btcdice, but they refuse to quote their real payouts.

Read from this post to the end of the page for details.

I guess you should at least mark their listing as "misleading payout multipliers" if not some stronger words.

I saw that and hoped that it would rectify itself..... I guess not.

Frankly Id prefer to list it as a scam rather than give it a note or simply remove it from the list entirely since it does mislead players.
Misleading players removes you from my list, striking out now.

Id appreciate some feedback on either listing as scam or permanently shelving the game in unattended until the matter is resolved..

Yes, but the majority of drugs sold by the Silk Road are marijuana.
Seems fairly balanced from an outsiders perspective, I guess this is your presumption ?

A surplus of overpriced methamphetamine on the Silk Road wouldn't drastically increase demand for it
Agreed, instead SR would have a drastic influx of customers.

considering the amount of idiots Walter's had to deal with throughout the 5 seasons of the show, I don't think they'll have the time to figure out how Tor works.

Walter JR will be tor savvy Im sure, he setup savewalterwhite.com by himself.

Derpsnow, how mature.

By the way, BFL doesn't use the phrase "full custom" to mean the same thing it means in the industry.

We don't?  Please elaborate. (I'm serious, I'm not being snarky.  If we/I am using it incorrectly, then I would like to use the proper term.)

"Full of Shit" is the term I use to describe you and your companies claims frequently Inaba, feel free to borrow it.

Honestly as you work for and defend a predatory con artist who scammed senior citizens out of a some totaling over 26 Million USD I think shit is the nicest thing you could be full of.

Contrary to what the public records seem to indicate, he's not the CEO of BFL - Sonny Chris Vleisides is not the CEO, Chris Vleisides (his stepfather) is the President (as opposed to his natural father, James Ray Houston, who was listed on the indictment) and Nasser Ghoseiri is the CEO - the confusion is understandable what with all the similar names, step and biological fathers and BFL's seeming hatred of titles. Sonny is an upper-level executive within the company, but he's not the absolute head, nor is is stepfather.

I'm an idiot. Would somebody explain to me exactly who is who and who is CEO of what as it's stated above?

I just now got to question and answer #86 of this in-depth interview.

Full disclosure: I'm long on Alpaca Wool INC (ALWO).

~Bruno~

No, you will not get any straight forward explanations, but I can assure you that you will get:

* Inaba's famous 2 page long  tantrums directed at you but with zero content.
* Awwwww pictures of Sonny and his baby and some grade A con artist bullshit.
832  Economy / Gambling / Re: mem's BITCOIN GAMBLING LIST on: September 24, 2012, 03:21:39 AM
tied up list, shifted known scams / offlines/ etc to their correct place.

Formatted some entries, corrected max bet for satoshiroulette and listed the new games.

No one's gonna make 20 mil off the silk road. Most of the junkies are too stupid to understand how it works.

And stupid comment of the day goes to DerpSnow Wink
SR has turns over of ~1.9Mil a month currently. so yes, within one year you could actually sell that volume.
Additionally never under estimate the determination and single minded focus of a meth head Wink They would figure our SR in no time.

Im not a monster, but nor am I a super stud  Cry Cry Cry Cry

"Naughty But Nice" is my ranking, good to see some old fashioned novelty games.
Can you please do Zoltar, like in the movie Big Cheesy

ps: the love testers web page is terrible, but the humor just makes up for it Wink

Let's go easy on the witch hunting. Even though the Pirate thing is fresh on our minds, and BFL is kind of a sketchy company...even if this guy involved did actually intentionally defraud people in his past, they *are* delivering products at this time.

Your the type of person that lets a convicted child molester babysit their kids arent you.
Its ok, he learnt his lesson - its all in the past - why would he ever do the same thing again ?
836  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Announcement] Butterfly Labs on: September 20, 2012, 04:57:44 PM
just send me your money and shut up.

Inaba is that you ?
837  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Announcement] Butterfly Labs on: September 20, 2012, 04:38:14 PM
I hope BFL will not bother responding to provocations and accusations - that is not what this forum is for.

My asking you to make your point clear in your graphs is pointless?

Your graph is pointless unless you communicate clearly.

I have a box of crayons you can scribble with on paper to get "it" out of your system.

 Cheesy

Me too. I don't care about the past mistakes, I too made mistakes in life that I regretted and learned from.

I think his only regret is getting caught Tongue
