1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: August 12, 2021, 08:36:51 PM
As of this time? Nope! Ethereum will never die and it will stay forever! I just love the fundamentals of Ethereum especially it’s real and positive use cases as well as their recent London hard fork upgrade that would make it greener.

This is why I am very bullish with Ethereum and it’s currently my major holding.

You seem very enthusiastic about ETH to me from your reply above  Grin
Coming to update on ETH network, yes that was a good move by ETH team, the price people were paying on ETH fees was insanely high and now they're somewhat low but still not quite low enough to transact the ETHs or Tokens at the whim of everyone.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: August 12, 2021, 08:08:38 PM
These can be very different reasons. This will certainly differ from person to person. What is normal for one person may already be a sign that more than normal gambling is going on for another. If you enter an addiction phase, you should try to get out of it as quickly as possible. Write down the symptons.

I don't think it would be very much possible for the person to get out of the addiction after getting into it without realizing it.
Most of the people who get into the addiction to gambling always chase down their losses till losing it all and repeating the same cycle again and again.

Useless someone close to watch their habits they will not be able to get out of it.
1104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin in the highest level of trust? on: August 12, 2021, 07:59:01 PM
So imagine, every transaction is posted on a public ledger where the contents cannot be changed since it is being monitored by almost all people who transact using BTC. The reason on why the blockchain technology has the highest level of trust is due to the miners which constantly check every block to validate all the possible contents of such block. So if you attempt to change the contents of one block, another miner would be able to see it and it would verify it accordingly to the genesis block.

That is the reason on why it requires so much power whenever you mine BTCs as it computes and verifies all the block on the blockchain technology.

Exactly and once a transaction has been confirmed a few times on the blockchain then changing or reverting the transaction isn't gonna be possible useless you own 51% of the network, I'm not saying that's not possible but it's rare to happen especially now. In the times of 2009-2011, it would've been much easier for big companies but there wouldn't be any use because bitcoin was not as much popular at that time.

But now there are a massive amount of miners and it's quite hard to pull of 51% attack through their resources.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: August 12, 2021, 07:41:32 PM
From my experience and gamblers i know will only use this to try to make more money in gambling so they can cover their taxes with the winnings which will somewhat lead them to losing all the money..

Taxing the money on everything is the government's job to make money and make things worse for the people.

Each country has its own rules regarding gambling tax. There are countries where you have to pay tax on the profits per month. In month 1 - 100,000 eur profit, and in month 2 - 90,000 loss, then you will have to pay something of 29% tax from month 1. Count out your profit. But I don't know to what extent governments are actively involved in checking such matters.

Are you sure? I haven't heard about huge taxes like this one 29%.
I've heard in California the tax is very huge somewhat around the percentage you've mentioned but are the taxes the same in every state of the USA?
For checking matters i think government checks the people on priority who're earning a lot of money and keeps on checking if they're paying their taxes but i'm certain agencies like FBI keep a regular watch on huge transactions and keep inquiring about those from authorities and authorities get the basic idea from that.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to invest in right now on: August 12, 2021, 07:35:09 PM
expect can be realized, especially for now the coin price continues to increase.

I don't think everything you say I get 100% but yes most of the altcoins right now is gaining momentum including bitcoin and ETH.
This is the time where whales decided to jump in and interfere with the crypto market, I can't say for sure for how long this will continue before the bear market arrives.
1107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who to Trust, Fiat Banks or BTC? on: August 12, 2021, 07:32:15 PM
I trust big banks to keep my data secure as I know the regulations around this are pretty harsh especially for banks.

Are you kidding me?, The place where i live banks usually share my data with some advertisers and this pisses me off.
I've only 1 email and that's registered specially to online banking of the bank that i use but for some reason, i get emails on different soaps, Doctors for penis enlargement (lol) xD.
Banks can't keep ur data secure, you're data is for them to make money.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Binance be the next Ethereum? on: August 12, 2021, 06:48:59 PM
Currently I admit that Binance Smart Chain is very smart because it can excel from ethereum in terms of very cheap fees
and even many projects that use smart BSC contracts. Ethereum has to quickly find this solution and fix its very expensive
fee if it wants to stay in its current position. So yes, Binance has a chance to outperform ethereum.

That's one of the best things about the Binance chain but I am still seeing many projects that prefer ETH over BNB, the best ones.

The fees of the Binance chain are 10 times lower than ETH but ETH is far older than the Binance chain so there are always people selecting tech which came first to support the innovation of the person who created the tech in the first place.
1109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting paid in Bitcoin vs getting paid in Fiat on: August 12, 2021, 06:42:17 PM
From my own experience and from what I believe I think paying in bitcoin will be better and I believe in future the payment method will change from fiat to bitcoin because I believe more companies are beginning to accept bitcoin as there payment method so I believe with time they will also start paying there staffs with bitcoin which will be very nice.

For those who have transacted fiat and bitcoin, of course they feel very different, bitcoin is better in many ways, speed, no errors, and of course very safe even though sending or receiving with large amounts, hopefully Amazon will be a pioneer of e-commerce transaction systems so that it makes bitcoin is increasingly being used.

The feeling of accepting crypto will become a norm after some payments and people will actually prefer it over cash once everything in the market can be bought with cryptos.
Why would someone accept payment in their bank account and pay 15% taxes when you can spend the whole amount you earn.

1111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you'll Sale bitcoin on today? on: August 11, 2021, 09:29:03 PM
Selling Bitcoin at this point would be a wrong decision. Because Bitcoin has come back to the downward trend level several times and it is gaining strength and is currently growing. The price of Bitcoin is currently rising and a lot of market analysis looks like it will go further. So the decision has to be made by reviewing the situation and keeping an eye on the market.

I might sell bitcoins at this point looking at the resistance being hit and the price is revolving around 45k B/USDT.
What i think is there's a very good chance that previous support will be tested again and you will be able to buy more bitcoin after selling at this price around 20% more.

But there's always a possibility of it going above 60k B/USDT.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 11, 2021, 09:14:30 PM
I've seen some of the parents struggle on this part because most of them are busy with their work and businesses. But since most people are working from home, they're going to have more time and teach their children to not engage with gambling and it's too early for them or just tell them that they shouldn't be which is better.

But there are always cases where children managed to stay away from the eyes of their parents or parents aren't doing much research on what their child is doing it's not only gambling a child can get addicted to but there is other stuff such as heroin addiction and later on, forces them to commit crime because their norm earnings can't sustain the consumption of their drugs.
1113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can China takeover Bitcoin network? on: August 11, 2021, 08:31:47 PM
If they could then why would they show it that they can, If they could then they will wait for as many people to use Bitcoin and during a transaction or transactions in their favor then drop that transaction even after it has 3+ confirmations but that's a bizzare thing to happen because it will change many more transactions.
1114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing acceptance level - Cryptocurrency on: August 11, 2021, 07:50:07 PM
I believe it's in Bengaluru. Is it a decision taken by the local Auto Union? Because the sign-board says "we" instead of "I". Any Autowala can accept cryptos as per their own will but I am little skeptical how this transaction will work. Did you try paying through cryptos? If yes, please share your experience. Because it's a splendid news for crypto community of India. It's actually a granular level crypto adoption which is very very important for the growth in the market.

Quite the opposite, look at the plate behind the tire of the Truck on the right side, if I'm not wrong it's written in punjebi. I've seen some Sikhs reading somewhat similar characters in their texts, The thing is they might be using Segwit for the payment with 1sat/B fee. But it will not secure them from double spend attack.
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies price and their effect on gambling industry on: August 11, 2021, 07:38:19 PM
I think that when coins rise in value, casinos will also make more revenue (in fiat terms).

That can happen in reverse also, bitcoin dropping in value will lead the casinos to make reduced money and they also have to pay their staff plus other expenses of the casino.
It can work only if casinos sell the crypto they made immediately to some exchange but that is time-consuming if the casino is big and deposits and withdrawals are happening fast.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should online gambling companies be responsible for harm related activities? on: August 11, 2021, 07:10:11 PM
Most gamblers will not think much about the terms and conditions instead directly registering on that gambling site.
They will agree with all of the consequences that might happen to them, even if they can become addicted to gambling in the future.
The risk of playing gambling will be there and it needs awareness from a gambler to realize that they are playing gambling for fun and not for making money.

When I started gambling even I didn't look at the company's terms and services but went straight to gambling in my case I didn't have any problems with the providers I chose could be lucky.

Another point you made regarding playing for fun but not for making money is quite the opposite of what most people will think about it, The ads the I'm seeing about gambling apps is that they show you "A guy made 100 USD and went to a restaurant with his girl", lol
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: August 11, 2021, 07:06:36 PM
Since the pandemic, of course, online gambling has become popular among the public, because when the pandemic hits the community, of course, they cannot carry out their activities as usual because we are limited by the government and cannot leave the house, which makes some people very boring because there are no activities, so they are looking for alternative gambling online for income or just for entertainment.

That's actually funny I'm somewhat guilty of that, used to gamble when bored in past but now i don't gamble a lot other than completing some tasks in games and rounds or for some reviews.

These days I'm sure many people will find themselves taking part in this habit of gambling if they are not busy with their, which is quite hard.
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin did you make the most money from? on: August 11, 2021, 07:00:44 PM
BNB was the coin I have made the most profits from. I invested in BNB when the price was still a bit lower and was just hoping on hodling it to get other coins from Binance launchpad and vault and fortunately for me, the price started to rise and I just held on to it till we got to the ATH, even though I didn't sell at the top, I still got good profits from about $500+ price.

I could've had made a lot of profit from BNB only if i invested into it in past but nvm, the most profit that made was from the coin IOTA and the profit in a single trade was around 3.5 BTC with Pair IOTA-USDT.
It gained over 40% growth in 24 hours.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 11, 2021, 06:58:42 PM
Children aged -15 years are never suitable for gambling because it can damage their behavior later in life.

It depends on their mindset. At the age of 15, I doubt they will have an interest on doing gambling.

But if they really did, more on it was because of their curiosity. I'm sure at that age they already know the difference between what's the good thing to do and not. If we try to force and convince them to ignore gambling the more they want to know about it.

I would doubt that.
From what i've seen in my school days that children were gambling with their pocket money on the school football teams and chess matches and they were around 14-16 yr of age.
