1101  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitcoin mining should be profitable now on: June 09, 2017, 07:51:09 AM
As of the recent price jump (to ~ 2500$) the ROI comes much faster as all miners are priced in $.

If you are convnced that the price of BTC will rise equivalent to the difficulty it should be profitable
Bitcoin mining is hard to get big profit for now because of the current value you would need strong mining rigs and build more to make your profit good, just invest big amount of money in mining if you are solo mining goodluck mate. Just keep in touch in this forum for more update and to know what is the best rigs to mine bitcoin,.

solo mining doesn't make sense with the current difficulty, you need to invest in a peta farm for that to work, and basically almost none cna do such investment now

while i don't think it will carry a high risk, because the value is very high and it won't come down anymore below $2k, still it's not something i would do now

you can roi as a fast with few gear don't need to go big to get your investment back
1102  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Happy mining on: June 09, 2017, 07:47:44 AM
mining ETH is the best

only with amd, nvidia have other much better option, nvida on ETH is bad minus the 1070 but it's underperforming compared to amd regarding cost/hash per gpu

dual mining can help but still amd in on top on that algo due to memory/bandwidth limitation form nvida side
1103  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where to find bitcoin or altcoin every day on: June 09, 2017, 05:46:13 AM
you can acquire them in two ways, by buying or mining, buying cost you more, but can help the market to grow, and is a fastes way to get bitcoin, minign cost way less but it's slower if you don't have a very big farm

In my conpany i used minergate to get altcoin. It is free

minergate is just a software, you need the hardware to generate your altcoin, and those are not free
1104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the safest wallet to use for long term offline storage? on: June 09, 2017, 05:43:22 AM
a laptop just for bitcoin, that works as a private bank, was also my idea, but i opted for a less cumbersome way like the simple usb stick, the key is just to be offline

but with a laptop you can use your coin if you want, if the environment is secure enough

1105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Philippines Officially Legitimize Bitcoin as Payment Method on: June 09, 2017, 05:40:31 AM
im glad our country finally accept bitcoin like japan but i dont think alot of people will gonna use it since its not popular in the Philippines i think it would become popular in our country if it hits tv news

i don't know the economy situation, but if philippines is a not a rich country on average the citizen there will have hard time acquiring bitcoin on a large scale, to use it afterward

bitcoin need two things to be used in mass by a country, regulation and money, if there is not enough money regulation is pointless, and now with the current value will be hard for them to buy many bitcoin

i guess will remain a niche thing, after all bitcoin is limited, and the more country join the party, the less bitcoin each one will have
1106  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is bread wallet okay to store my bitcoins? on: June 09, 2017, 05:29:41 AM
Ive searched that bread wallet connects you directly to the blockchain network and then will serve as a wallet. But whats good here is that your naming your own bitcoins and is not hosted by services that promise you this amount of coin. Is this really good. I wanted to know the pros and cons. Anyone who can share his/her experience?
Bread wallet!! Today first i heard about this wallet from you. I only used blockchain and desktop wallet like electrum wallet. Sometimes also use Coinbase wallet. However, If they provide a private key, Than its good. If they not, than leave this account. just my personal suggestion dude

Is coinbase a wallet? I heard its an exchange? What do you suggest for between blockchain and electrum. Because of your replies guys I will be leaving all this wallets i have haha! Thank you!  Cheesy

well every exchange can  function as a wallet as well, you can store there your funds, although it's not recommended to do so for security reason the exchange can be hacked

i would suggest bitcore direcly with prune mode if you don't have enough space, otherwise i like armory, electrum is too much centralized for my taste
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.0 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: June 08, 2017, 12:36:53 PM
GDDR5X GPUs still have issues with compatibility. A 1080 for instance will sometimes get the full 30% speed increase over a 1070, but often times it wont. About half the algos worth mining right now have problems with GDDR5X. You'll get anywhere from 10%-30% (usually around 15%). A 1080ti is no different. It's a shitshow, skein doesn't have problems.

why "half the algo", i only have bad result on ETH and feathercoin, all other algo i'm doing 60-70% more versus a 1070, with my 1080ti and 80-90% on skein/jha

You should be getting +30% compared to a 1070 with a 1080 and +85% compared to a 1070 with a 1080ti according to cuda counts and pricing. If you're getting 60-70% more then a 1070 with a 1080 you have something misconfigured with your 1070 as it's underperforming. A 1080 and 1080ti will underperform compared to a 1070, but not the opposite direction unless you have something setup wrong. GDDR5 is quite mature, algos have problems with GDDR5X.

As far as what algos are having problems, you've quoted someone of them. I'm not going to tell you about them though.

i said 70% more than a 1070 with a 1080ti not a 1080, 90% only on jha and skein, i'm not aware of any algo as bad as ETH and feathercoin, for a 1080ti, which i don't care anyway they are far from being the best algo to mine

They aren't 'as bad', Dagger is crippled. There are a couple others, but you're still going to be getting a speed boost, but instead of +85%, you're getting 40-50%.

what are those other bad algo with 50% only, i'm curious, i see that bitcore algo timetravel 10 is another one with 60%, which is not good

1109  Economy / Speculation / Re: remember bitcoin on: June 08, 2017, 05:38:06 AM
funny because now the same people will say that bitcoin will crash and won't reach $5k or 10K, then when they are proved wrong again they repeat the same sentence

i guess they want cheap price all the time to buy back, and spread fuds because of this, or they can't see the huge potential here
1110  Economy / Speculation / Re: Took just 3 months to double in price. Bubble!!!!! on: June 08, 2017, 05:36:31 AM
are you sure, AFAIk there not any guide that tell us that if the value skyrocket in 3 months by 2x we are in a bubble...obviously this would be stupid

there is no time frame to estimate that, it can be a natural growth for all we know, you can't be sure

if we crash again like the last time from $2500 to $2k, it could be seen as a price correction, in fact the price recovered, as a long as the price recover, it's a price correction
1111  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: June 08, 2017, 05:32:28 AM
In my opinion it does not affect the price increase because the price increase occurs due to market demand so that many who do exchange there.
If it happens someone who leaves his job to focus on the bitcoin is simply called the increase in the number of bitcoin users instead of the price increase.

uh? market demand is done by buyers, if soemone leave his job to go full trading with bitoin, then he is a part of the demand and help the price increase

if this is negligeable with one person, it will not with many of these people leaving their job to go full bitcoin

Most of the people you see stop working and then focusing on Bitcoin because they either want to easily scam people or just want easy money and both are equally terrifying, it shows that Bitcoin is slowly spoiling people into laziness.
This price increasing to the roofs is not natural and caused simply by whales not selling, when the majority of coin holders are putting sell orders for higher prices obviously price goes up but as soon as it does some of other holders see the opportunity and dump and price drops. who would've thought some day data less than 128GB could worth billions of dollars?

i think you can decently earn a lot with bitcoin and leave your job now, either with trading if you are good or mining, both have very high return, and i don't find them more siky than a real life job at all
1112  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Accelerate your transactions via Antpool by yourself ! No need to ask anybody ! on: June 08, 2017, 05:26:48 AM
it's not very different than the viabitcoin accelerator, or there is not 100 TX per hour limit here? we can submit s many as we want?

i noticed also that right now when you send a large transaction, you don't need to pay the 100% fee required, the bigger the transaction the less % you can pay n your transaction and get it confirmed quickly anyway

this because miner know that they don't need this huge fee and it seems that every transaction above 200k satoshi regardless of the size are confirmed quickly, i tried many already
1113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: Bitcoin on Front Page of Wall Street Journal on: June 08, 2017, 05:23:01 AM
They are too damn focus on the price and the profits and not worried about the added bonus they receive when they own their own financial freedom

for the first time, when they invest in this technology. No central authority can close your account or withdraw money from your account. You the owner

of these bitcoins have full control over your finances. The media only focus on Bitcoin when the price hit record levels.  Roll Eyes

well the price is what will drive the adoption, you see now when the price is very high, there is more talk about bitcoin

more talk equal to more people buying in and so on, the price is important to help bitcoin grow, it's not just a number that tell you how much one bitcoin is worth

it's an important aspect like the block reward the block limit etc.. it's a part of bitcoin
1114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can It Really Happen? on: June 08, 2017, 05:19:48 AM
first of all i don't think he is that stupid to sell all in one volley and cause a major value wreck and panic dump, second the market now is so big that cna absorbs that without much trouble

and third one i think satoshi don't own 1M coins, the estimate is more around 200k, there were other people mining with him at that time
1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price will you sell your BTC, and what will you buy? on: June 08, 2017, 05:17:21 AM
i'm not planning to sell anything, unless i really need to , bitcoin is meant to be used as a currency who still can't understand this will be only left behind

i'm also don't plans to  buy, i like to mine which cost me far less than buying, a good target that i set when i'll start to use my bitcoin more and not just holding, is at 10k+

hoarding now is mandatory because the value of bitcoin is still a joke to me

Hi there, what will the shipping cost to sweden be? zip 15330 Smiley

only 15 euro since you are in EU, the customs charge will not be needed

can you see the shipping price to Albania?

can you tell me more about precise location and zip code, but i guess it won't be cheap like sweden, probably around 50 euro

price reduced to 0.14

none interested?
1118  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is bubble? on: June 07, 2017, 05:46:42 AM
There is no such thing as a slow steady rise to $100k+, bubbles are inevitable it's part of the FOMO process.

i partially agree with this, what if there is at each step a price correction + consolidation? like we do 3k---> dump retreat to 2500---> pump again to 3k and go to $3500, do the same every $500 or 1k

with this play the value would increase slowly and be very solid, without the need to shot at very high value followed by a big dump and then another increase to half of the first pump, which was always the case in the past

1119  Economy / Economics / Re: A $10,000 Bitcoin is possible, but it won't be what you think it would be on: June 07, 2017, 05:44:10 AM
it will happen eventually when more people are willing to pay for it, actually it can happen pretty fast if many are holding now their coin, and the coins on the exchange are limited

because the same people will rush to buy at higher price, just to have more for  the future, but since they are limited in circulation you don't need increase in adoption for the value to increase

what i mean is that the real circulation of the bitcoin now is not 16M+, which is a good thing, this is forcing people to buy at higher price, because there is a shortage of bitcoin right now with the current high demand
1120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you buy Bitcoin now with hard cash? on: June 07, 2017, 05:37:48 AM
i don't buy bitcoin or any altcoin, i always prefer to mine them because it's far more profitable, it's like you get a huge discount, when you convert your electricity in bitcoin/altcoin

buying is only for those that can't mine, if you can mine it's always better, the downside of this is that buying is faster than mining, if you don't have a very big farm
