Greed, vanity, unwillingness to learn/research/question. They are the reasons why scam persists to this day.
I have noticed many people lack knowledge, if they know about what they are investing in, most seem too fake to be real but still they are scammed, ignorance at times could cause it. That is why I did not regret I joined this forum, it has really helped me to not be ignorant and avoid scam. It depend on what they invested in. If they were in shitcoins then probably shit happen and no gains. This because most of the tokens are created to scam if not most of it failed for the same reason. They are good at first especially in the promotion but once they done the team change their way on how they handle bounty hunters and even investors. So, do not trust your money to them instead go bitcoin or ether and hold it for a period of time. See how much you can get or probably chances you can have losses. But this is investment so one must know how to earn on it. |

Is it alright to bump a thread? I think there are rules for this. Mostly it happens on advertising or promotional activities like in those market place or ann threads. However, I have seen few times here that there are users bumping their own threads in this section. Anyway, this thread is helpful by the way and it is also good for the newbie to see it as an awareness in this forum. Unfortunately, I would say, tether is not safe at all.
Also, why would you want to park your usd in tether while btc fluctuates?
Wouldn't you rather actively trade to take advantage of those fluctuations.
Another thing to consider, is do you even need a stable coin?
In a lot of ways, a stable coin can actually work against you.
The main reason is that the stable coin is actually not really stable at all.
It's only real use is to use it in crypto trading and the market is entirely unstable.
I mean, just think of this, keep your usd in a normal savings account, you'll at least get some interest.
Yes, this is also my stand that when one convert their money into crypto even if it is stable like usdt might still be risky due to some exchanges hi-jacking or phishing sites. So if one must secure money banks are usually a glld idea where to place these money. Usdt and fiat currency were stable so i guess there is no need for a stable coins. But this type of crypto might be useful especially when market volatility strikes like bitcoin halving so it is better to convert it to stable crypto than fiat foe it will take lesser fees crypto to crypto compared to crypto to fiat. Banks takes high transaction fee than crypto transaction fees. |

Meaning bitcoin has influence already even in the movie production. They had already seen the way bitcoin could be use in the future(not only talking about paying contract for killing) as anonymous fully trusted and secure way of doing it. It even a p2p transaction without third party involve.
Anyway, even though btc has been use in the movie that way but for sure it is still good for bitcoin. Good or bad publicity still a publicity for bitcoin.

It's disturbing to know that so many bitcoins are in the hands of centralized custodians. Since Coinbase owns the keys those are their bitcoin, not their customers. All they did was protecting their own funds which is the reasonable thing to do.
This because bitcoin has shown great potential when it comes to business. Owning itself is already considered as investment. While it is in the hands of these centralized groups or organizations there will be a good reason from them to keep it. This is why I just thought that these bitcoins at their hands might potentially will be involve to business. Well, only them can tell on these holdings and I have a good perception that it could be good for the cryptocurrency system itself. |

I think it is the right way to say that a talented players will more likely to get higher pay than those that are not. Usually this is why some good players trained hard to get higher pay. Some are to become a superstar in basketball and others think that it is their passion and had been love doing it. That is the problem, if you are actually not making money, that doesn't mean you do not have to pay neither. Yes, it may sound true but there are things that could be done to this like helping each other like cutting salary into which the owner can afford to give. If the owner really does not want to do give the salary to their employee then better to hold first their service render. It is also hard to pay them when the owner has no income at all and no funds to pay for it. If you are a business or a celeb or basically anyone who are paying someone, just because you are not making profit doesn't mean you do not have to pay neither. By that logic when pandemic is not around, like lets say before pandemic started, any company who doesn't make a profit didn't have to pay neither. That is not what happened back in the day, so why should it happen now just because pandemic? The problem is that business owner had prolong the agony on no income and paying salary to their employee. This has been a problem and thisn is why many business now were being temporarily closed because they could not affrod to give salary without imcome anymore. The Pandemic has been long enough like 3 months and this will force business owners to stop first the operation. If you can't pay to people you should not be a business or a celeb that hires workers at all, you have to pay not only when you earn but when you do not earn as well, that is what hiring people entails when you hire them. It is not whenever you want to or whenever you can pay, it means every day.
Well not really like that but there are other options like cutting the numbers of workforce due to pandemic lesser income and few workforce needed. Also the company could close temporarily and can get back when things go back to normal. |

You mean a publicity right. Well in this case it might be true that Justin Sun would truly give a reward to those who can give information about the hacker. It is very hard though to detect because hackers now are aware and being cautious in their action. What important here is to retreive those account that has been hacked and I guess twitter technical services could reset it for them though it may be a hard and long job to all hack accounts at least it will return. And also it might add up a lesson to learn in this issue regarding hack accounts. |

It is not a surprise for those account link to cryptocurrency has been block even before. It just been made worst when twitter got an issue with hack dragging cryptocurrency again as the reason for it. I have my twitter account before but sadly I was block by them after I made tweets and retweets regarding to cryptocurrency. So, this probably the reason why now they turn to block tweets to owners suspected with cryptocurrency tweets. I do not how they will do it but I guess it is possible like that guy who is known to cryptocurrency. His future tweets can be block by twitter and so doea it will be to others (my perception).

There is no question that the US economy will surely be hit hard by millions of jobs lost. At that time, the impact will be very large on production services and many services that need other people, which will make thousands of businesses suffer losses and cannot recover. If the US situation cannot stop covid 19 soon, their country will soon have an economic crisis and surely we will be severely affected. I just hope that people are more aware of the corona virus prevention room so that everyone can return to normal life.
It is still important to keep safe and away from the virus. I know it really that hard when one could not get enough food to eat due to loss of job. Unemployment is already a big problem even before the pandemic started. As long as we were able to survive though it is really that hard then I can accept it rather than getting infected by the virus. AFAIK, life insurance isn't a form of investment but a hedge because users cannot get rich from joining some insurance products. Anyways, I'm not a fan of mixing (1) protection with (2) investment or called unit-linked insurance plan. Usually, insurance companies delegate the investment fund into fund managers. This scenario often leads to inefficiency (too many fees) and mismanagement. Insurance companies should be specialized in protection or insurance policy (only).
About crypto usage in this topic, I have no comment since I'm skeptical about the "blockchain and not bitcoin" things.
Well others think that insurance is an investment where one can keep their money in them and over time one can be paid with interest and has the benefits also when one joins like the health benefit expenses if a member will get hospitalized and more. It is true that this is not an investment but some of those hose who invite always says that this is an investment and the gains/profit will be in the future. Here in our place cryptocurrency had evolve already allowing crypto trading through an app that has been integrated also to other services like paying bills, transfer money(fiat and crypto) but limited only to btc, xrp, bch and eth. These were the only crypto allowed for now used in to pay bills. The conversion is really easy so if you want to invest integrating cryptocurrency you could do it in our place. But I guess it would be difficult for because the government will not allow any foreigner to own a business so it will be channeled through local. You can ask it some local to d it for you just to comply the papers. The rest you can settle down here and then operate your business.

Do not trust anyone here to hold your money and promise to double it in the future. As there were many traps fall for it believing espcially in the ICO. Lesser chances that you can get a good project. Nonetheless most of it are scam or will just good at first showing updates that they had done really good in times of promotion but after that modes will change and eventually will say that project failed. Some of them will say that they will do a refund but since they had made already expenses and they will be having hard time to return your money until such time you forget about it because you have nothing to do and you do not them or meet them personally. Is this the new English system unit or the SI units tha coud be added to existing sytem units like mete, grams and etc. It seems sound so good to hear a new unit of Sats. LOL. A new measurement of digital currency. I had been seeing Sats but not quite familiar among the other units. Milli Sats seems came from the SI unit which means 1000th.

Looking at the graph of the cases in Nevada, there is really a need for the local government to make a strategy and way to lessen the number of cases. And that is make a crucial decision to close the establishments for the meantime and prevent hard headed tourists and gamblers from entering the main cities without a valid reason. I know many countries are relaxing their soft lockdowns but it depends on the situation or it is case to case basis for each country or area and it is not always the same comparing areas. Las Vegas is a different case altogether. They better decide what is more important, the economy or the health of their constituents.
Some countries are still in lockdown and the so called government has nothing to do with it. Some had lost control over their movements with knowing what the future holds for them. Most of local gambling platforms have a shop operated by agents where bettors, gamblers go for placing a bet. This will really affect the case of Las Vegas as US records a good number of cases and covid 19 wouldn't come to end soon, Soviet would advice gamblers residing in Las Vegas to stay out of casino hall until this pandemic is over. Now, some countries are trying to reopen the lockdown, and apply the new normal which can give the chance for the casino to reopen their business too. Las Vegas as a place for many local casinos already reopen their place and invite the gambler to come to their casino and play the games. I am sure the local government can work together with the casino to use some rules for the gambler if they want to play gambling in the casino. Is it Luka Jovic? He is injured actually and their team is a little bit worried of him because he had been having time for barbecue with his friends insteas of recovering injuries. Well it is his decision to make for his life besides it is not easy to rest and lock all day. Having friends may even get the injured to be recover quickly because our body also could be stimulated every happy moments probably like a stress reliever.
