1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think there should be a Crypto Bank? on: August 12, 2018, 08:47:25 AM
What do you think about crypto bank which hold all the reserves and give insurance of your crypto assets?
Well i do not like to have a banking for cryptocurrency because it will just add up the transaction cost per crypto that you will going to store besides it is still the same storing that require digital wallet and as we heard news that even good exchanges could be hi jack how much more those banking system that their employee could betray the bank and will have the probability that employee will going to betray and will do an inside job of hi jacking crypto.
1682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies to Bitcoin can be dangerous! on: August 12, 2018, 08:07:14 AM
I have run into several Bitcoin "newbies" over the last couple of months, that are spreading the wrong information on forums and/or in person. Their intentions is good, but the results is bad, because they did not do proper research.

Some of these people are selling themselves as experts, because they have been in the scene for a few months. I have been in the scene for years and I still know very little about EVERY aspect of this technology.

I think you should rather admit it, when you do not know something about the technology, than selling your little knowledge as facts. I will regularly tell people that I am not clued up with every aspect of this technology, but I always try to do proper research, when I encounter something that I am not 100% clued up on.

~ Ask, if you not sure.
~ Do not lie, if you are unsure.
~ Do proper research, before you educate other people.
~ Accept that you will not know it all.
~ Fact check what you already know.
~ Do not argue, if you not sure about your facts.

Let's agree that we all learn something new about this great technology almost every day, so only a small amount of us are experts.  Wink
yeah i am newbie when it comes to bitcoin market price and my mistake is that i usually have my own strategy and now where market price is down i am losing some my money because i had traded my crypto and now i invested again. I wish i could be able to recover some of my loses one day. I know that there could be another tough market price for the cryptocurrency. I should be ready for it again.
1683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Notes on Bitcoin ETFs for the community on: August 11, 2018, 01:05:28 PM
Yeah it takes some time to think and organize an option of what to do with the cryptocurrency system. I had the empathy for the government who is now looking both sides for the advantage and whatever the advantages they will get for sure the benefit is for the many people. Thus, including a plan to modify the cyrptocurrency like an option if things will not get approve maybe they could create another rulings and made cryptocurrency available.
1684  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto solve socioeconomic problems? on: August 11, 2018, 06:37:45 AM
If everyone around the world gets into cryptocurrency, do you think it will even help in solving or lessen socioeconomic problems? Can it be used to buy goods from other countries? It is fair to say that crypto will help a lot of people but what will it do to one's country? Will it help improve a country's economy?
Yes there is a chance that cryptocurrency could solve socio-economic problems like having some transactions with third party wherein those third party sometimes takes advantage on its clients. And here in cryptocurrency since that it is blockchain it could remove the part of taking advantage or in short it could remove corruption as we all know that some third party collect so much transaction fees on some of its transactions.
1685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: August 11, 2018, 06:05:06 AM
After reading a lot of posts made by people on this forum, I realized about 75% of them see Bitcoin as a digital Gold. For me, I don't think Bitcoin is a digital gold. Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin to be precise, was developed to be a safer option for transaction of goods and services and also the best mode of payment. Bitcoin was introduced to disable all the restrictions that banks and the financial system presented. A lot of people have lost huge sums of money because they saw bitcoin as a digital gold. I know others will argue that bitcoin has also made people rich but for me, I don't think it is advisable to consider Bitcoin as a digital gold. Bitcoin is a digital currency.
The crypto experts had thought of bitcoin as just like as gold in an advance version whom they thought that bitcoin is a gold 2.0 version. Well i could not argue with this statement since bitcoin does really work just like gold and in the near future the bitcoin market price will goes higher and higher as more people will come to join and engage on bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
1686  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Bitcoin for real estate? on: August 10, 2018, 07:32:46 AM
I am wondering how many of you are selling your bitcoins to buy something solid like real estate as backup investment? spread the eggs!
Relatively there are few members here i knew that was already able to profit bitcoin and what they do with their income or profit on it they invested it on something that is permanent and that is getting a real estate property. Though those property are not relatively expensive but one day as time passes those property will get a good market price in the future.
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: August 10, 2018, 06:01:39 AM
How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!

I would recommend the following: spend for your altcoins and Bitcoins 50% of your budget. Leave the money for living and never lend anything! You must be ready for all situations, even for the fall of alts’ price.
yeah this one really a good advise for an individual who will going to start an investment here in cryptocurrency. I do believe that it should be bitcoin to invest with and not anything else though there are good altcoins in the market that will relatively will let you have the maximum potentials to profit. High potential profit but high risk also.
1688  Other / Archival / Re: EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT CRYPTOCURRENCY on: August 10, 2018, 02:27:30 AM
If you take an assessment, a lot of citizens are not yet informative what is cryptocurrency is....like bitcoin and other altcoins. One proof is that others can be deceived by swindlers because of lack of knowledge regarding crypto currencies. . They invest with the wrong people because of considering in unfounded information and hearsays.
Educating people regarding crypto will not make them to mislead. Educators can teach about crypto inside school especially in economic subject/s because it has a big role nowadays.
As Tom Emmer stated, “ People tend to fear what they don’t know. If people sailing the oceans at the time of Columbus had believed the world is flat, we wouldn’t have had the great discoveries of the New World.”

This is really true and i had seen already some admins who are putting their efforts for conducting a seminar for the use of cryptocurrency and i think it is already being realized in a small scale wherein they could start to provide a seminar for cryptocurrency.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts are Bleeding What To Do? on: August 09, 2018, 07:45:00 AM
Currently the cryptocurrency market is going through a big correction (especially to those who have recently joined). We are seeing coins lose 30-50% of its value in a few days and everyone is panicking. These are the times that will define who will succeed in this market and who will fail. You have to keep your emotions in check and be confident that once you have done proper research in the coins you have invested in they will go up when the market rebounds. Corrections are inevitable and is needed for the overall market to grow. So if you are feeling overwhelmed by the drastic decline in your portfolios just take a few days off and enjoy some sunshine. If you want to be aggressive throw some more fiat into the game and take advantage of the low prices.
Yeah it seems like market price for most of the crypto with bitcoin and those establish altcoin are not good. Major fluctuations had gone and investors are now trying to pull out on some of their investment though we know that it could lose on some of their money but it is more important to get our some of our money back.
1690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hello crypto! Bye bye credits? on: August 09, 2018, 05:22:55 AM
I wonder this: if the usual banking system will disappear as such, then she will leave and credit system, leasing and installment payment, debt, etc. As there is no centralized authority that can issue and track correctness of performance. To some extent, this is certainly good, but in fact people who can not immediately earn a large amount of money and will remain in the lower levels of life, which gives the modern banking system (though not ideal). What do you think about this? How to Take a loan in cryptocurrency?
Yeah it is better than credit or even paypal i guess for it will just create a good and cheaper transaction fee. This is why that getting a good system like cryptocurrency will make other system look bad so this one is an example that having cryptocurrency system will take other people to turn away their heads on credits.
1691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Idea: How to increase bitcoin demand on: August 09, 2018, 03:14:36 AM
I would be happy to submit a request to Amazon. Do you have a link to a contact page on Amazon where we can enter our request?

Even better: What if you made a template for us and we could just copy/paste it to make it easier for us?

Alternatively, we could start a BitcoinTalk.org petition for the adoption of Bitcoin on Amazon.com. I think it could have a chance to spread awareness, especially if we can get it on Reddit somehow.
Amazon has already overlook this system and it was speculated that they will going to adapt cryptocurrency as it will create more sales on them after seeing the marketcap volume for the cryptocurrency. As we all know that bitcoin alone could took billions of marketcap volume alone and it would be good for amazon to incorporate their business with the cryptocurrency or bitcoin. I guess they still need to create a system for the adaptation of the cryptocurrency.
1692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Notes on Bitcoin ETFs for the community on: August 08, 2018, 08:17:13 AM
What if they will not approve cryptocurrency? What will happen next to bitcoin and other crypto? Will it continue the operation even if the government sectors does not want this thing to approve? How can we  push through on this one. I know that it is not time yet to speculate things but we need some clear ways or plan to pursue if things will not go as plan.
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs gonna end someday ? on: August 07, 2018, 07:49:26 AM
I have one question that really bug me sometimes, Are ICOs going to end or new ideas and projects will emerge along with ICOs. Many of us actually rely on bounty to earn other than investing. As long as there is ICO I believe there will be bounty. It will be a sad day for us if ICOs are declared officially dead.
No, it won't because ICO projects are opportunities to some individuals or group of team that are longing to create a real and actual project wherein it could really realize with the help of the crowd. This is in contradiction to the capitalism.
1694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of the SEC Commissioner in favor of ETF approval. on: August 07, 2018, 06:40:42 AM
I think Bitcoin ETF sits on a 50/50 chance to be approved yet but there's still a glimpse of light shining as one of the Commissioner Hester Peirce in favor of it,  in a sense that she likes to open on US an nnovation approach that could contribute to greater development.

The new member of the commissioner dissent the decision of rejection of Winklevoss Bitcoin ETF with a 3 to 1 vote, stating that the rejection isnt fair and over jurisdiction since they only looked on the possible outcome that price will be manipulated.

Quoted from Her interviewed “I think we have an important role to play telling the United States and the world that our capital markets are open to innovation,” said Peirce. “And that’s what sort of drove my dissent last week and what really drove me to come back to the agency as a commissioner. ”

There's no timeline when the voting will commence and not sure if its on the middle of 2018 maybe early 2019.

Full report can be seen here for your info.

This is one of the hopes that bull market for bitcoin will be easily speculated as the etf approval will be the basis that cryptocurrency is not really that bad instead it is so helpful. It will be ideal to incorporate the system of cryptocurrency to the development of the country.

How about lambo? As we all know that the common thing an individual said after speculating a good market price on crypto is always lambo. Why not lambo still accept bitcoin as a form of payment? Lambo is the short cut term for lamborghini. Well i hope to read next time lambo will accept bitcoin as a form of payment.
1696  Economy / Economics / Re: Confirmed, bull run begins now, what expectations? on: August 06, 2018, 09:27:10 AM
Nearly one billion dollars has entered bitcoin today according to cryptonic news item. This week has seen btc doing very well and all are excited.I know most people have individual plans for a moment like this, let's hear yours.
From the day that this thread has been posted it has been so good on bitcoin market price and that this thread was an evidence that those days could be the start of bull run for bitcoin. However, it does not happen because market price for bitcoin has dropped again drastically and even the altcoins in the crypto market.
1697  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My small advice about crypto market on: August 06, 2018, 08:54:58 AM
Many people are still hesitant between trade and hold. In my opinion, Investment is different from speculation is that you spend time and knowledge for it. When you trust and understand, you will not be afraid of the volatility of the market. It's an investor or a HOLDER. It's very good, but I think you get to know the market, trade, the cycle of market so you can be an investor, a smart holder.
"Don’t be a blind bull. ALL markets are cyclical. Don’t be afraid of pullbacks or market crashes – that’s where you can make the most money"
Yeah it is somehow easier to be said than what is to be done. The current market situation looks like that the only thing that has been earning lately are those huge investors where in they could move market price from time to time if they will going to buy or sell their crypto and relatively since they had huge investment meaning to say they could have also huge profit and it is up to them on their strategy to earn by accurately buying and selling bitcoin.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is it the Future of Banking ? on: August 05, 2018, 02:26:32 PM
i was thinking about the Bitcoin and it's Future in Banking . can it remplace money in transactions ?
I do not think so that bitcoin will be the future bank for we do not used centralized currency on cryptocurrency. Aside from that if we talk about banking then preferably it should be handled by a third party or a group to secure your bitcoins and should be held liability if it will be taken away from the scammers. However, in cryptocurrency we do not need banks because we have our digital wallets and could be stored online or offline.
1699  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: August 04, 2018, 03:11:25 PM
I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

No of course there are still more for bitcoin to show because the system is an innovative that it could even incorporate with business or for self interest and many others. So probably also when it comes to market price bitcoin has still a lot of room to grow for the current market price. This is why we should take bitcoin positively as there is a guarantee that could give you more benefits.
1700  Economy / Economics / Re: When bitcoin prices rise up the market also will on: August 04, 2018, 01:36:15 PM
I have noticed it when actually the bitcoin price is rising up the cryptomarket also will. Is that because of bitcoin is directly proportional to the other cryptocurrency? so that when bitcoin dumped the other crypto also will dump? Whats your opinion about it?
Because these altcoins in the market are alternative coins for bitcoin. Whatever happen to bitcoin market price then it will also happen to this altcoins. ANd the good thing about altcoins in the market is that the supply is not that huge just like bitcoins. SO if there is market price movement this altcoins that had a lower market price supply will going to move higher in terms of percentage compared to bitcoin because of its low supply.
